Does the landlord have rights to viewings for buyers of an Airbnb apartment during my stay?
Staying in an Airbnb for a month, landlord brought an agent around the other day with my permission, but is now asking if people can come for viewings. Not too much of a bother, though not entirely comfortable with the inconvenience, would like to know if it is an obligation?
Baccarat night club/ Thailand / Racist LED signs
So apparently the Baccarat night club in Thailand will create any kind of LED sign for parties in VIP. There was a bright LED sign saying “Broke A** Nig** being carried to VIP by the hostess!!!! It was one of the most offensive things I’ve seen in a nightclub ever. The hostess demeanor changes when brown people and foreigners walk up as well. This venue is disgusting and I wouldn’t advice anybody of color to go here. Drinks are $500 tbh as well, which doesn’t help. It was an offensive display and this place should really focus on getting some integrity and maybe have more than 35% of the space given to dance. Over half the club is reserved for tables and VIP, and racist VIP at that. This place an absolute joke and just another money grab.

asahi.comSaw a white guy with a swastika tattoo at Rock Bar
Was simply chilling at Rock Bar in Lamai, enjoying some beers and the breeze and noticed a white guy taking his shirt off and showing a huge swastika tattoo on his chest.
As a brown guy, immediately felt so unsafe that I wanted to leave.
Came back a few nights later and I think I saw him again but this time he had his shirt on.
The locals didn’t seem to be bothered by it and were friendly with him.
Is this quite normal here? Do Thai people not know what that symbol represents?
Just asking questions and curious!
EDIT:
I wrote this post in a rush. I’m Indian, so I’m fully aware of the swastika’s significance in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. My question wasn’t whether Thai people know its original meaning. I was asking whether people here are aware of how the symbol is perceived in the West, where it is overwhelmingly associated with Nazism. Given the reactions, I can see that my wording didn’t make that distinction clear.
Even if I were Hindu or Buddhist, I personally wouldn’t get a swastika tattoo because I live in Europe, where the symbol is overwhelmingly associated with Nazism. Yes, the Nazis appropriated a symbol that originally represented peace and prosperity, but that doesn’t change how it’s commonly interpreted today. If I see a white guy with a swastika tattoo in Europe, my immediate assumption would be that he’s a Nazi.
I’m not judging the locals or trying to shame them. I was simply sharing my reaction and asking a question out of curiosity. Seeing the tattoo made me uncomfortable, and I was interested in understanding whether locals viewed it differently or were less likely to associate it with Nazism than people in the West.
Racism in China, is this a real thing?
Hi, I am a Japanese student who recently got his first account on BiliBili. I was troubled by the usage of racist terms on that platform. Is this kind of racist speech common in China?
The LDP does not wish the current female heir to become Empress, and instead wants to change Imperial House Law to allow them to "adopt" a male heir they can appoint. Gendai mentions LDP Kingmaker Taro Aso has a "strong desire" to do this, and that his sister has married into the imperial family.

According to Vonne Aquino's report on "24 Oras," the drone received the prompts even when the Atin Ito vessel was well within the Philippines, just 127 nautical miles from Mindoro.
I am a legal resident at a newly built condo near BTS Bangna, and I am writing this to expose the blatant racism and discriminatory practices occurring here.
Today, while I and three other Myanmar residents were at the smoking area, police officers arrived and specifically targeted only us. They demanded our passports and falsely accused us of using marijuana. What makes this a clear case of Racial Profiling:
Selective Harassment: There were other foreign nationals (Westerners) at the scene who were actually smoking at that time. The police and Condo Security completely ignored them and came straight to interrogate us instead.
Systematic Racism: This isn't an isolated incident. I have evidence that Black residents in this condo are also frequently subjected to racist treatment and harassment by the staff or through targeted reports.
It is clear that a "Selective Security" policy is being practiced here. If you are from Myanmar or a person of color, you are treated as a suspect. If you are from a Western country, the rules don't seem to apply to you, even when you are clearly violating them.
It appears that someone in this building is making malicious false reports based on racial bias, and the Condo Management/Security is enabling this harassment. We pay the same high rent and CAM fees as everyone else, yet we are denied the basic respect and privacy we are entitled to.
I have already filed a formal complaint with the management. However, given how they treat people of color here, I am not hopeful. I am sharing this to warn others who are considering moving to this area.
Has anyone else experienced similar racial profiling in condos around the Bangna area? I would appreciate any advice on how to handle this with the authorities or legal experts.
Asking here because I know a lot of people base in Thailand. I'm using Bangkok as a home base as I explore the neighbouring countries. I'll have a total of 5 e-arrivals in two months.
I'm already getting warnings after two arrivals. I would hate to be denied entry with all of my stuff still in my Bangkok apartment!
Edit: to be clear, I'll only be in Thailand a total of less than 45 days, and my apartment is an Airbnb.
