The then longest game in the history of The French Open: Joakim Nyström vs Ivan Lendl in the 1987 French Open Round of 16....Lendl would go on to win the tournament and cited this match as his most difficult of the tournament......Lendl had over 10 set points....
1981 French Open Championship: Bjorn Borg(25) v. Ivan Lendl(21)....Final 30 minutes of the 5th set...

Borg taking a 21 old Ivan Lendl to school in the 1981 French Open finals....in this one service game, Borg subjects him to rallies of 60+, 20+, followed by near 50 shot epic points..Poor Lendl looks gassed 4 games in...Bjorn hardly misses ever and his ball was so freaking heavy and deep...wow🔥🎾🌀

FMS Bronco 1/7 with a 6s battery: My first non-Tamiya/non-Team Associated/non-Kyosho....i got back into the hobby last year after a 40 year hiatus...on a lark, i got an RTR..OMMMGGGGGG....This thing is simply mind blowing...ive never tried to film and drive so the video is terrible...

Qualified in the 80s (TX)....quit as a 5.0 in late 90s....picked up a racket for the first time in 23 years this week...as my 12 y.o. daughter started...and WOW, what a difference 2 decades make...the rackets and string combos are bananas....I got a '26 babolat pure aero 100 & 98..she a Head Boom MP
the advent of unbreakable strings is the real game changer...and the spin imparted on the balls is unbelievable....not to mention the effortless power...can't wait to get playing again...the tech jump is mind blowing...my brother and i used to break synthetic guy by looking at it so strung our own rackets with prince pro blend...u had unbreakable main and prince synthetic gut on the cross....the main were unbreakable and equally un-feelable....awful strings but we were costing our parents a fortune haha....nowadays with the polyester possibilites u can basically use the same strategy as pro blend once did but both the cross and main strings are spectacular and offer effortless power and spin...whereas pro-blend merely offered a 2X4 feel (but rarely broke)...and the new ones wont break every other match despite giving me all the feel of true gut....the spin generation is bananas...especially considering i grew up at the alter of Joaquim Nystrom and Mats Wilander.....Now im like Joaquim with Rafa's spin and Kevin Currens knife serve mixed in with Beckers kick serve bouncing 3/4 high on the wind fence....it's crazy....the strings and power avaialable are truly mind bending.....im 52 and will likely have a harder serve once all the cobwebs are gone then when i was nationally ranked...this is bananas...and i am so happy my daughter decided to take up tennis...my wife and i had her late in our marriage a decade after being told we couldn't have kids....so while im quite old, i can still maybe hit with her as she learns....my dream is to simply not die on the court and get to play a few matches with her some day....so happy to be back in the tennis world...wow, how things have changed...
