If Deku had no qualms with killing Bakugo and was entirely fixated on it while they were in middle school could he find a way to kill him?
Forgot to put that Deku has prep time in title.
Saw a video claiming Yusei had a 100% win-rate throughout the main series of 5D's and that his only loss was in a flashback against Jack, but I immediately thought of his first duel against Kalin when I heard that. I mean, I guess his duel runner broke before his LP went to zero, but I think it was pretty clear he was going to lose unless there's something I'm missing. So, I'm not really sure I would consider it anything but a loss.
What do you think? Should it count as a loss or does it not count because his LP didn't reach 0?
Even Tom Holland has started saying this shit and it's genuinely kinda annoying. Yes American food takes foods and ideas from other countries but in doing so they diverged and became something new. Like are you seriously going to tell me that Tex-Mex is the same cuisine as Mexican just with more fat?
Not to mention that literally every culture takes foods from other cultures and make them their own. For example, the earliest predecessors to Croissants actually came from Vienna Austria, despite being primarily associated with France.
I'm an American with some British friends and sometimes I'll hear them say these phrases but not really with the same enthusiasm I'd expect someone to have when using the word "quite".
Is this just due to them being somewhat stoic or does the word "quite" mean something different to Brits than it does to Americans?
For those of you who don't know, the projections that have been made so far for the 2030 US census have been projecting congressional seat changes that will likely be pretty unfavorable for Democrats. With red states like Texas projected to gain seats while blue states like California are projected to lose seats.
So, I'm wondering how this might affect the future of the Democratic party and if Democrat's should be worried about this.
I recently finished watching it, and by the way I had heard people talk about it, I thought it was gonna be the worst Power Rangers season I ever watched. But, then I watched it and I thought it was fine? The first half might have been a bit rough but even then it wasn't terrible, and the second half was honestly pretty decent.
So, I'm kinda confused why Turbo was so hated. Is it because there's some context I'm missing out on due to it being before my time. Or am I just crazy?
Don't know much about Sonic scaling, I just know that some versions of Sonic himself scale really high. Then I saw someone jokingly say that Tails from the games could solo MHA, and then someone in the comments said he probably legit would. Now I wanna know if they were actually right.
I think he could do it in Dark Hero arc tbh.
Like, I swear this happens all the time, I'll bring up a feat in a discussion and someone will be like "but actually that's an outlier" and I'm just like ok bro. What contradicts it? Why is it an outlier? And there just like "because there's no way x verse could actually scale to that level."
And I'm like: "wtf, do you mean you can't actually prove it's an outlier and it's just cuz you don't want the verse to scale that high?"
Saw this video listing all of the female Power Rangers randomly show up on my recommended and it made me wonder which season you guys think had the best female cast.
It's become kind of a meme atp that Iida is the guy with the speed quirk who's still slower than a lot of characters so I started thinking about it and I don't even know if he reaches top ten in speed lol. What do you guys think?
Obviously All might ended up winning in the end, but was that a definitive outcome?
