S3 E3

My biggest takeaway from this episode is that American government is unwilling to damage the American government despite the massive and complete infiltration by foreign governments.

Takes me back to the season 2 conversation when the DEA agent was talking about how the cartels own too many politicians and police officers.

America would rather see itself get destroyed then admit it's failures.

Got downgraded to economy on my booked flight....

So my wife and I had booked our flights in January and got a great deal on first class. Last week, AA decided to downgrade us to economy telling us that our seats were no longer available.

So what happened was they decided to take away our paid for seats in order to sell them at a higher price because of their stupid war with iran.

Absolutely unacceptable but that's what I come to expect from American corporations.

Matchmaking...

So if I have cross-play turned off and I get the message about turning it on does it turn it on automatically and put me in PC lobbies? I swear that every time it does that I just get completely beamed by some high level player.

Himan teammates are trash

Every time I'm placed on the team with humans they go out of their way to get me killed. No game sense. Aren't listening to footsteps and just run right at the bad guys. Gets me killed every single time

Gameplay...

Okay I'm brand new to the game, only for missions in. So far quite enjoying it. Quick question about people's gameplay:

The times I've been teamed up with people they either seem to bypass the NPCs and even other players to the point where they are losing very easy gun battles. I'm not the greatest FPS player in the world but when I'm getting nine real player kills in a match, seven of them within 2 minutes with my teammates down I'm questioning the mindset of some of the people. I'm sure it will get better once I get into ranked maybe but so far very disappointed with my teammates.

Didn't think I could be surprised by music anymore....

Like the title says, I didn't think I could be surprised by a band anymore but The Last Dinner Party I find simply amazing. I cannot stop listening to count the ways. I know there's many more songs and I'm exploring them but I just wanted to come on here and say that. Job well done.

Las Vegas area Club fitting

So we have my existing set of clubs which are all bought off the shelf and I think generally do well. It was recently said to me that possibly my iron lie angles might be off and I definitely know my putter shaft angle isn't my liking.

Does anyone know anyone in the Las Vegas area that would help take my existing clubs and get them tuned for me? Especially getting my driver's and woods tuned in?

I've gone to the local golf shops but unfortunately they will only provide that service if I'm buying brand new sets. That'll be next on my list but for now I'd like to use my existing clubs.

Thanks in advance..

Disconnect between practice and play

So I think I had a light bulb moment after my horrible round yesterday. Obviously you can talk about how practice does not prepare you to play. And obviously when you play more often you get better simply by design.

But when you're playing on a course you do not have any time or opportunity to "work things out".

What I mean by that is that you don't have adequate time to analyze previous shots or any kind of rut you are in. You have the pressure of trying to keep up with the group that you're in, and for me I'm always in groups of single digit handicaps for some reason. On top of that you can't really take your time because there's a group behind you staring at you.

Yesterday I tried to play in my first match play type tournament. The three people I was paired with were all single digit handicaps. The group behind me, single digit handicap set at one point they were even yelling at me to hit the ball. What am I supposed to do with that when I'm struggling to even hit it off the tee?

I'm going to have a conversation with the golf pro to put it together because if this is just going to be an elitist frat boy group I'm not going to be part of it.

But the point of my post is simply to say that no matter how hard you practice, the nature of actually playing doesn't allow you even a moment's rest to just sit and figure it out.

Disconnect between body and arm/hand/club

So I played yesterday, shot an 87 which is my lowest round ever. Generally played well and got good distance but feel like I had no connection between my body and hands. I can do body turn drills. I can do club path drills with a still body but I do not feel like I can get a connection between the hands and my body in the turn. I either move my hands and stall my body, or turn my body and my hands don't want to cooperate.

It's most likely in my setup where I'm too hunched over stopping my body from turning. At the moment my shot shape is still a bit of a slice.

Looking for any ideas or even a drill that will help.

TIA

Bots.

They are seriously ruining the experience of the game. Just because your team loses quickly doesn't give you an excuse to get AI that will win the game for you. Same goes for me. If I lose a game quickly, I should just move on to the next one. But no. AI bots become overpowered and rubber band the game to a win.

Escalation is a case in point. At some point all the bots just get into tanks and aimbot you.

Oh and don't think about trying to kill the tank because the second you do passengers magically appear and zero in on you.

Are they actively trying to get people to stop playing now?

Don't understand you people...

I know this has been said and posted to death but for the life of me I don't understand that as a support player, when you actually can be bothered to take a point the first thing you don't do is drop an ammo pouch. Then you see a tank coming down the road, you see me shooting at the tank asking for ammo and you don't have the mental capacity to hit a button to drop one.

I've played a support basically up until yesterday cuz now I like shooting tanks but the simple fact you can even drop an ammo pouch tells me all I need to know about your character.

I'm sorry that helping out your fellow teammates is well beyond your mental capacity.

Why does this game make me so angry?

Help me understand why playing this game at any level makes me so unbelievably angry and frustrated? I will take 50% of the blame for my own lack of skill and understanding of what's going on but the other 50% I just can't fathom. I say things to people I would never say in real life. I message people accusing them of cheating just because I lose. I don't understand how I get hit markers on a Target but I still lose the gunfight. I'm always getting out played because I don't look at a mini map to find my targets. Is it just me? Do you people actually find enjoyment in this? Help me please I need help
