Arrived home from Fiji after 9 days & I think Archie thought we’d abandoned him 😭

Poor Archie had to spend 9 days at a boarding kennel. He was soooo not interested in toys as you can see 😅.

Do any other countries have an advertisements for your airline that is emotional/funny/iconic?

Our Qantas tv ads are second to none in Australia. The other airlines hardly bother with advertising.
Qantas has principally used ‘I Still Call Australia Home’, by Peter Allen as their anthem since 1987.
They showcase our country‘s best scenery, with a children’s choir full of joyful & sometimes melancholic singing.
The link I’ve attached is from during Covid.

There have been many other versions of the ad throughout the years showcasing other worldly landmarks such as the Twin Towers & the Great Wall of China. They can be found on YouTube.

Graze that has turned into a wound

I literally grazed my thumb about 2 weeks ago & I stuck a Band-Aid on it. It has turned into this bigger wound that doesn’t want to close up or heal.

I was on antibiotics for a different reason when the graze occurred, so I think it killed off any type of infection if it was forming.

But it is so sore, I’ve used Betadine and it really hasn’t helped much. It dries it out overnight but then the next day I’m washing my hands & dishes, showering & it just remoistens the wound.

Is this something I need to see my doctor about, it seems so trivial & little but it just won’t heal.

Or does anyone have advice on creams or something that over the counter?

Today is my brother’s heavenly birthday, he would have been 46. He passed away 3 years ago. Just wanted to share a few pics of his best loved babies.

I cried along with Joy

I felt her angst & I’m not going to give any spoilers away, but watching her cry made me tear up! She’s such a good person! And I almost never cry watching reality shows, especially below deck lol, because it’s not an emotionally targeted show apart from anger hahaha.
