How hard is it to perform piano backing tracks and simple melodies?

I’m a guitarist who is in that limbo between intermediate and advanced so my fingers have some dexterity to them and was wondering how hard is it to play some piano backing tracks and accompaniments to jazz tracks. Think Bill Evans in Kind of Blue level of skill.

What was supposed to be my regular book hunting at Goodwill ended with me picking up my very first cd. Giant Steps seems a fitting album to be my first cd purchase. Each of these were 1.99 only.

I’ve been eyeing this edition of LOTR for years but was too broke as a kid to buy it. Fast forward to now, 21 years old and randomly saw this at a thriftshop in Ventura for only 4 dollars.

It was high time to retire my beaten up three volume set anyways

I’ve always loved the 2000 version of Both Sides Now over the original 60s one and just now found out that Wayne Shorter plays the soprano sax at the end of the song.

Scored this classic at American Pie Records in Camarillo. Asides from the wear on the sleeve, the record is very clean and scratch free!

It’s also my second ever fusion album I bought as vinyl, the first being the Inner Mounting Flame

Lahat nalang isisisi sa mga adik eh

Not saying drugs are good and that drug users are innocent but sometimes we have to accept that there are people out there who are just plain evil.

Games not showing up after using both sd cards option, I already switched back to original roms but now games don't work unless I switch back to the use both cards option while having the 2nd card plugged in. I already tried deleting all easyroms folders/files and pasting it back in from a pc backup

Not only games but the systems themselves re not showing up

2nd router used as access point can't provide internet to devices (unless using pc with ethernet) and phone straight up can't connect to the router when dhcp is disabled

Setting up an older router as an access point for the 3rd floor of the house and this is driving me crazy considering this worked before for years (I reset the router because I can't login to change password"

I manually setup my old router as an access point but now I can't log into it, I've tried every possible ip address and it always results to "this site can't be reached"

I need to change the password on the access point to match the main router but I can;t do that without logging in

May sinabi ba siyang mali? Bakit napaka animalistic ng reaction sa calls niya to let Rene rest in peace. This popular = good mentality many Filipinos have is the reason we are still stuck as a hellhole

Also the only reason Rene became famous is because he f*cking drowned, he never got to experience any of the success his family reaped from his death.

Kitties for adoption

Meet mocha (M) and spoon (F, maybe pregnant), they are looking for their forever homes as I cannot bring them with me to the US. Looking for willing and loving adopters who can take care of them. They are litter trained and have never been out of the house so assured kayo na walang issues regarding behavior as long a fed po sila. They are both 5 months old. Located po kami sa SJDM, Bulacan.

The very cool propaganda machine is working overtime

Using something Father Flavie said in an entirely different situation from an entirely different time to push your anti-Catholic propaganda is sickening. The very cool squad are the poster child of the don't believe everything you read on the internet" saying

I'm not that deep into the jazz fusion community but is it a hot take to say that Allan Holdsworth's best playing is when he's not the main artist?

I love his unique approach to guitar but his songwriting doesn't do much for me but when he's paired with stronger songwriters (at least for me) he really shines as a player. Great examples include Jean Luc Ponty's Enigmatic Ocean and Tony Williams' Believe It

Is "The Creator Has A Mastertape" referencing Pharoah Sanders' "The Creator Has A Master Plan"

It's always seemed obvious to me but I have yet to see someone make the connection, atleast on reddit

The new update with the direct to dac option is the best thing to happen to my music listening this year

So I bought the jcally jm6 pro to pair with my Samson Sr950s last year but they sounded barely better than my phone's (redmi note 11) headphone jack even though it's supposed to be 3x more powerful. I chalked it up to Redmi's awful android skin limiting the output power and as I didn't want to pay for UAPP I just accepted the hifi budget dream was over. Fast forward to last week when I updated Poweramp because I wanted to try out the new direct to dac feature and woah it made my headphones sound alive. I could actually hear bass and achieve more than listenable volume at 35% whereas before the update 80% was the listenable volume. I am really loving this app and switching back to spotify ain't happening anytime soon

My favorite Coltrane ballad, such a beautiful piece by him

It still boggles how this is the same dude who made Ascension, I can only imagine what he could've done in the electric era of jazz in the 70s
