Just finished Punk Hazard arc, and a theory popped in my mind

So please don't spoil me beyond Punk Hazard and I don't know if it is discussed or not but I would like to share

It all starts with Luffy destroying the Red Line at Mariejois. Shattering this massive barrier will merge the four isolated oceans into one, instantly creating the All Blue and unifying global trade and culture forever (I know this has been discussed)

The catch is that Fish-Man Island sits 10,000 meters directly underneath, meaning the falling debris will utterly crush it. This is the true meaning behind Madam Shyarly's prophecy. Her vision of Luffy standing in a sea of flames isn't him acting as a villain, it’s a literal snapshot of the chaotic moment he destroys the Red Line above to liberate the world

To save her people, Shirahoshi will use her powers as Poseidon to command the Sea Kings, hitching them to the Noah, to safely evacuate the entire kingdom to the surface before the rocks fall. This permanently ends the segregation of the Fish-men, allowing them to finally live under the real sun on the exact same terms as humans

The most poetic part is that this fulfills Luffy’s personal promise to Shirahoshi to take her to a real forest under the sun. When the Noah lands on the surface of a unified ocean, she will step out into the greenery. Luffy won't change the map of the planet for global politics, he will literally shatter the world order just to keep a simple promise to his friend

Just finished Punk Hazard and thought: If Captain Yorki had a powerful Devil Fruit and skills like Haki, could he have been a legend of the pre-Roger era?

PLEASE NO SPOILERS PAST PUNK HAZARD! I just finished this arc, so please don't ruin anything ahead for me in the comments!

I was thinking back on Brook's backstory and a "what-if" hit me.

If Captain Yorki had a powerful Devil Fruit or Haki, do you think he could have been one of the greatest, most legendary pirates of that era?

He sailed over 50 years ago, way before Roger became the Pirate King, when the Grand Line was completely uncharted. He clearly had that "Luffy effect" where people and animals (like Laboon) were just naturally drawn to his personality. Plus, his dream was so unique just bringing smiles to kids through music.

If he had a top-tier power to back up his leadership (and assuming it could have somehow saved him from the Tree Fever), do you think the Rumbar Pirates would be spoken of today in the same mythic breath as Whitebeard or Roger?

Well did basic calculation he would be around 80s when Roger got executed

Or am I too early to ask this T-T

We’ll definitely see players who are more talented or statistically better. That’s just how the game evolves. But I’m not even talking about skills here, I mean his mindset

The calmness under pressure, the way he stayed composed no matter the situation, the way he handled the media, his interviews were always grounded, thoughtful, sometimes cheeky but never reactive. And probably the most underrated part: how he backed youngsters. He trusted players in high-pressure moments, even when they were struggling. You could see how much confidence that gave them, guys like Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja early in their careers all benefited from that environment, you can see the respect too that young gen have for MS till now

It felt like he created a dressing room where players didn’t fear failure, and that’s rare at the highest level

Also, his game awareness was on another level. The small decisions, field placements, bowling changes, reading the situation, it often felt like he was a few steps ahead of everyone else

In today’s era of aggressive, expressive captains and constant scrutiny from social media, it almost feels harder for someone to maintain that level of calm and control

Do you think we’ll ever see that kind of leadership again, or was Dhoni just one of a kind?
