Hey all

So recently I'm sleeping with a raw piece of peach moonstone with me , the piece is approx 250gm and what I noticed that I have experienced lots of embarrassing moments in the past , the moments that brought shame and guilt in me . Scenes which I don't wanna remember , the actions were mine but idk why I did those . I bought that crystal to help in my sleep but it does the opposite . Where am I wrong ? Is there any similar experience?

Hello all , so recently I was doing a reading for myself and I stumbled upon a question about who we should think that we are in a particular card I know there is no such universal rule for that and it totally depends on your question but still there is doubt who to interpret as who . Like in the strength card there's a woman and a lion , so who would I take myself as the women or the lion they are lots of other questions like example in the 6 of pentacles, a person is giving out money to the other beggar so you are the beggar or you are the giver ? Hi! I'm a beginner practitioner creating my first altar. My goals are manifesting a job, breaking bad habits and patterns, building a healthy male body, becoming more disciplined and productive, staying calm under pressure, and developing an abundance mindset.

I have crystals, a male torso candle, and a six-pack abs-shaped vase. Since I'm closeted, my altar needs to be discreet but still i feel they work best if I see them everyday.

What would you include for these intentions? Crystal, symbol, or daily practice suggestions are welcome!

I'm a beginner practitioner and I'm looking for advice on creating my very first altar.

The main intentions I want to focus on are:

- Manifesting a stable job and career success.

- Overcoming bad habits, repetitive behaviors, and unhealthy loops.

- Building a healthy, strong male body.

- Becoming more productive, disciplined, and consistent.

- Developing patience, emotional balance, and staying calm when things don't go as planned.

- Cultivating an abundance mindset instead of a scarcity mindset.

- Reaching my highest potential overall.

I already have a decent crystal collection. I also own a male torso candle, a female body candle, and a six-pack abs-shaped vase/pen stand that I thought could symbolize my fitness and health goals

One challenge is that I'm still closeted, so my altar has to be discreet. At the same time, I feel like if I can't actually see my altar or crystals regularly, I won't connect with them as well or be reminded of my intentions.

I'd love suggestions on how you would design an altar for these goals while keeping it subtle and easy to hide. Which crystals, symbols, colors, herbs, candles, affirmations, or daily practices would you include? I'm also open to hearing about anything that has personally worked for you.

My goal is manifestation and creating a space that reminds me every day to become calmer, healthier, more disciplined, and more aligned with the person I want to be.

So basically I have found myself stuck within a cycle , a pattern that I have noticed ever since I have gotten into metaphysical stuff which is getting more attracted towards idols of deities than the actual deity . I'm a born hindu and I have always been attracted towards the idols rather than the deity in particular and I even shape my opinion or liking about any deity based on how their idols look . I'm more attracted towards their outer beauty , the way they are dressed , how beautiful are their faces look but not actually to the deity .

Apart from what my background is , i have an inclination towards the world's mythologies as well and you know what the same thing is here as well . I'm attracted towards the Aphrodite's statue more than her actual virtues .

Is this normal ? Even if it is, I don't really think I can approach or connect with a deity as there is no inner connection just outside beauty is driving things here .

First one is - Pan-Indian Folk Continuities: Shared Motifs in Regional Traditions

Second is - Digital Humanities and Text Mining: Analyzing Algorithmic Interpretations of Literature

​

If anyone here has any knowledge about these pls be open and impart that to me. I'm pretty confused as I do take interest in learning folklore but that is too old nowadays and won't even fit in my CV . I'm thinking about the 2nd one . Please do share your thoughts over this based on my qualifications .

Ps :I know majoring in english is not a rewarding career so please don't judge based on that .

Hey all , So I have seen people write ram ram , I wanna do the same with lord bhairava like I'm really inclined towards his kashi swaroop so what can I write for that . It's more like a gratitude and discipline practice , I m not asking anything in return from him . Im blessed that he gave me everything also what about shiva like write om namah shivaya works in case of writing for lord Shiva .?

Hello everyone, so I'm a sag ascendent and I have punarvasu as my moon nak in gemini. I have seen that there are certain things which keep on repeating in my life . If that's a characteristic of punarvasu nakshatra but it gets really overwhelming . Lemmi walk you down with a few , every time I have any exam scheduled or with me approaching my exams there's either some event in my immediate family and my attendance is essential there . This leads to me either scoring low ,or getting in a situation of overwhelm or panic even after preparing in advance. So recently I'm experiencing issues like anxiety, stress , anger , mood swings etc and i diagnosed it as related to the affliction of the moon . So I have decided to offer Argha to the moon , my mother gave me a small moon-like pendant that I wore as a kid and told me to use it as a symbolic representation of the moon and offer the argha to that pendant. Well I'm pretty impressed with that thought but still I wanted to ask whether this is okay or not ?
