so how do I request off for one singular day because WorkJam only lets me take off like long periods of time? Should I do this on workday somehow? I don’t have my manager’s phone number.

TL;DR i applied for part time merchandise associate yesterday, during my orientation they said they want to promote me. Should i be scared and look for a new job?

So essentially I applied to this job (retail merchandise associate part-time) and they call me about two days later to come in for an interview the next day.

I go for the interview. Everything is normal at first. The manager asks the normal interview questions and then proceeds to ask me “how I feel about ladies clothing.” and I of course, make a joke and say I wear a ladies clothing so you know, i’m good on that. And then she is like yeah we’re gonna make you the woman’s department coordinator next week after you start.

I’m like OK not what I applied for but sure. At this point, I didn’t realize it was full-time work. Interview goes good. I go home whatever.

Then when I go to my orientation, I end up getting my schedule for the week… it’s full-time hours. I didn’t realize I agreed to this? I am 18 years old. freshly. I don’t want a full-time job at Marshalls?

This is very strange and I don’t like it… should I just reject the promotion when they attempt to give it to me and let them know that I would prefer to do part-time work as a cashier or merchandise associate? I just don’t really know what to do but I do need this job so I can’t really just ghost it.

Has anybody else experienced anything like this???

TL;DR My boyfriend and I dated in high school for about two years, and we got back together around nine months ago. We originally broke up because he attempted to cheat on me, and at the time he was looking at nudes of girls who looked nothing like me. I’m very lean and skinny — I don’t have a big butt or big boobs.

Recently, I went through the accounts he follows and found a bunch of pages of white girls with big butts and big boobs. For context, he’s Black and I’m white, so now I’m starting to feel like maybe this whole relationship is some kind of fetish thing. It’s making me really uncomfortable.

I honestly thought he had grown out of this or moved past it when he wanted to get back together, but it seems like nothing has changed. I’m confused and upset, and I don’t know if I should just break up with him because I don’t want to deal with this again.

If I shouldn’t break up with him, then why do guys date skinny girls but constantly look at girls with completely different body types online? I’m trying to understand what’s going on here and what I should do next.

Another thing, it says the minimum check in age is 18, but ive heard places sometimes need someone over 21 in the party, so has anyone 18-20 had any issues with check in there as well?
