Which Limmy character would you genuinely struggle to explain to someone who’s never seen it?

Personally, I think it's Falconhoof.

Tip baiting has officially got out of hand this month. Why are Uber still allowing this?

I’ve had three orders this weekend where a decent £4 or £5 tip was added at acceptance, only for it to be completely reversed an hour after delivery. The drops were smooth, the food was hot, and I followed the notes perfectly. It’s an absolute joke that Uber still allows customers to just pull the rug out from under our earnings after we’ve done the work. Deliveroo and Just Eat don’t let them play games like this. This is not at all good.

My manager keeps forgetting my 20% off the job training. How do I bring it up without being the awkward one in the room?

I’ve been told to "just finish this one job" every single training day for a month. I’m now 40 hours behind on my portfolio and my tutor is breathing down my neck. Has anyone successfully tackled this with a difficult boss without making the workplace atmosphere toxic? I’m tempted to just sit in the canteen with my laptop until someone notices, but I’d quite like to keep my job.

Do recruiters prefer shorter or more detailed explanations when you’re asked competency questions?

Its really hard to judge whether being concise or giving full context works better in real interviews.

Bath really is in a league of its own for beauty. Still love this shot I took last year.

Is Walthamstow a good area if you don’t work centrally?

A lot of discussions seem focused on commuting into central London, but I’m curious how the area feels if you mostly work remotely or locally. Does it still feel like a good place to base yourself if you’re not using the Tube every day?

Does anyone else check broadband availability before anything else when moving?

I’ve reached the point where I care more about fibre availability than kitchen size or fancy flooring when looking at properties. Bad broadband genuinely feels like one of those things I massively regret later if I ignore it at the start.

I’m kind of concerned that £250 is becoming the new normal for the West End.

I just tried to book Paddington: The Musical for the family. It’s the best New Musical Olivier winner, but the only seats left for July are £250 in the Dress Circle. I’m worried that theatre is becoming totally inaccessible for anyone who isn't a tourist or a millionaire. When did a family show start costing a month's rent? Is anyone else just giving up on the big commercial hits and sticking to the Young Vic or the Almeida until the prices calm down?

Anyone else struggling to hit that £10k spend for the Platinum 100k referral?

I finally pulled the trigger on the 100k referral offer, but staring at that £10,000 spend requirement is giving me a bit of heart palpitations. I've got until October to hit it, but I’m already trying to prepay my council tax and utility bills just to make a dent. Is anyone else currently in the manufacturing spend trenches for this?

Raw vegetables, potato wedges and fried fish kind of thing, which sort of stinked. It was very bland and not at all something I could enjoy eating.

At home everything looks completely fine in the mirror, but the second I step outside into natural daylight my makeup suddenly looks patchy, textured or just a bit off and I genuinely can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I usually use all Dior or Rare Beauty products. I’m wondering if it’s my application, too much product, certain formulas not sitting well together or if natural lighting just exposes everything more harshly than indoor mirrors.

I just checked Ticketmaster and realised that Saturday day tickets have jumped to £190. I noticed that back in 2023, you could get a weekend for not much more than that. I’m not sure if I can justify nearly £200 just to see Florence and Fontaines D.C., especially when I factor in the £12 Festival Burger and the train back to London. Is anyone else pivoting to the resale market in July, or is the FOMO of missing Florence’s headline set too strong to risk a sell-out?

I realised that unless you’re a night shift worker or a very dedicated insomniac, the only way to hear the best new music is via the app. I’m not sure if the live radio experience is dying for anything that isn't daytime indie rock. Does anyone actually still tune in live at 2 AM for the vibe?
