Seems like the culprit slowing down my Wuwa startup is this. Game write tons of data to C drive first then start the game. Why is it like this
[SOLVED] Clear your NVidia shader cache. start up time down to less than 1 minute after doing that
Just google "nvidia clear all shader cache"
Game doesnt recompile shader in game somehow after im doing this
Game is in drive D btw. Is this a normal thing to happen? Can it be fixed without changing drive C to NVME somehow cause the mobo cant accept nvme drive, no slot for it since its low end pretty old motherboard.
Update from my previous thread yesterday. Wuwa starts much faster on my phone than on my PC since 3.0. Anyone know why and if I can fix it?
This time I reinstalled the whole game (still steam version)
PC specs:
- Ryzen 5 3600
- GTX 1660 Super
- 2x8 GB RAM
- SATA3 SSD
- Windows 10 (can't update to 11 die to lacking TPM module, besides I don't want it cause 11 is quite annoying)
- Game is steam version
Update:
- title should be "read", not "write" as in "Game
writeread tons of data" - Its not pagefile as i moved pagefile to D but game still reads from C at startup
