I still have mine. They’re warm and comfortable
Had a seizure on street. 2 men came to help beforeward and that’s what I remember. I woke up in a stranger’s car with a woman telling me that they’re taking me to the ambulance while I insisted that I don’t want to go because my mom is going to lose her mind. They took me anyways and asked for my name and age which wasn’t able to remember. I slept at the ambulance car so IDK about the rest. I stayed at the hospital for 2 days and received antileptic medication.
According to those men that called the ambulance on me, I was trembling while my head was stretched back with my mouth foaming.
Step back, Anorexia. The main protagonist is depression now.
Got submitted because of an OD
When I was 8, I watched this video and started sobbing. It was so sad that I showed it to my 6-7 year old sister while tearing
I’m going to share my niche ass rant here about this shithole of a school and them trying to apply their system on any school they can touch in Jeddah
I moved to that school when I was a first year kindergartener. Left it when I finished 2nd grade. So basically was there during 2008-2012. I gotta say that it was horrendous in an idiosyncratic way.
First of all, there were so little students that I knew everyone who wasn’t a kindergartener.
Second of all, the building wasn’t even a school building but rather a rented mansion. We didn’t have cafeterias. There was a lunch lady who’d cross every classroom with a large plate of snacks that ranged from 1-10 riyals per snack. My 2nd grade classroom got 2 doors. 1 that leads to the hallway. The other leaded to the bathroom. Yes a literal house bathroom. We even got a bath tub. But I hated using it because there was literal poop underneath the open window for some reason but that wasn’t dirtier than the sandboxes we had there. I’d like to add that we also got a kitchen for some reason.
Third of all and the part I can go on about is that they stole belongings from students. I’ve left my colouring pencils set on MY SHELF and the next day that it was gone. Where have I found it? Glued to the wall on the entrance along with belongings of other students. And this wasn’t the only time as we had a “cleaning day” and me and my sister brought our toy cleaning set. They took them away from us saying that they’ll return it but never did. This part is important for the next
Around the mid 2010s, Saudi Arabia urged all schools that function on rented buildings to change them to proper school buildings within 2 years or else they lose their teaching licenses. My old school benefitted much from that as it suddenly boomed afterwards and gained the popularity it never deserved. Their next move was to monopolize other schools.
These mfs got the greed of seagulls. They were small enough for soft theft and now going on trying to put every school in Jeddah under their hands. One of the supervisors I had growing up left my high school because she couldn’t handle their system. I don’t see their story as “inspiring”. I see it as humiliating. It says alot when you’re trying to become the Disney of schools.
My brother (10M) has autism. But he possesses a moderate level of it. It’s more of the side character because his ADHD comes first and foremost. In fact, what stayed consistent with every psychologist we brought him to is that hid ADHD levels are very high. It’s to where it’s harder to name symptoms he doesn’t have for some reason. But aside from being destructive, the biggest problem that happens to be there is his learning. Because as soon as he finds even the slightest difficulty or boredom that he gives up. He mostly just mumbles sounds and says some words or 2 word phrases. Never any longer. No he’s never labeled as a non verbal since he seems to be saying stuff but incomprehensible 70% of the time.
The amount of learning centers and tutoring that we spent on him is absurd. It’s like a desperation to see even the slightest improvement in his speech. The 2 word phrases thing was already like a milestone. But at least that he was able to learn how to swim on the other hand. Sometimes I wish my parents done better.
I was unable to read the subway menu and what’s written on TV just recently. I decided to take the exam with an ophthalmologist that’ve first seen me in 2006 and last seen me in 2009. He clarified that I’ve had these vision problems at 4.5 years old as well therefore genetic. I just have been concealing the problem as I thought that it’s normal to not see from a certain distance.
