Has anyone taken the GeneSight (cheek swab) test to determine what medications may be most effective for you?
My daughter’s doctor ordered it for her. In my desperation, I agreed without giving it any thought.
It should be here by Monday.
She’s going to be a freshman and I’ll literally do anything to make her path easier for her.
Help me understand how this works.

Wisconsin: I’m going to have an arborist come next week.
A neighbor has complained about a VERY large tree that drops a lot of shade and leaves in her yard. Also crowds one of her trees. They have requested or joked that I should remove it many times over the years. It’s too expensive for my budget - maybe $10,000. Last year they asked if I knew that there is a poison that could maybe help for cheaper.
Fast forward to this year. I think the tree is turning yellow. I think I found what could be a drill hole.
Looking for all the advice and experience. I feel like I’ve lost my mind but this might really be happening.
My daughters and I are wandering what happens if the arborist does tell me there is evidence of poison.
My daughter 14F has a girlfriend also 14F. They want to have a sleepover at her house. I’m so lost on the right thing to do here… and have no one to talk to because I won’t break her privacy.
They are only friends to everyone they know. They are only friends to the other parents.
My whole self wants to say no but this is a lose-lose situation.
My daughter swears they don’t do anything- even hold hands. I believe this so far. And she assures me she doesn’t want to. They are also besties and this is what besties do.
What is the right thing … I’m lost and don’t want to make a big mistake.
