Yup you read that right. If you wake up sick you have to let them know 24 hours minimum before hand otherwise you have to go in and work until they can get someone in to replace you. And if they can’t? “You’re just gonna have to stick it out. Unless you collapse on the floor there’s nothing we can do”

You have to PLAN YOUR SICKNESS IN ADVANCE OTHERWISE YOU GET WRITTEN UP.

To set the scene here I’m on day 4 of my vacation. I’m on my final park of the trip. I offhandedly mention that I gotta head across the park to Paris to ratatouille for my last attraction of the day before I head back to my hotel. And the cast member is ever so kind to tell me that there’s something called friendship boats that will just take me across the lake straight over to Paris! And fantastic I think! I have a blister the size of a tangerine on my foot if I can avoid walking for a while and just get a free ride across the lake why not right?! So I get in line and I wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. I stood in this line for a good 45 minutes and across the water I can see the boat the entire time.

And I’m the type of person who I know the second I get out of line and start walking towards Paris that boat will show up load up and drive off again! So I just keep waiting and finally it pulls up and we load up and drive across the lake only for ratatouille to be wildly disappointing and for the queue to ignite my claustrophobia for the second time that day (the first being frozen ever after)

So was looking at the map getting an idea of how ride times are gonna look in epic for when I go next month and almost every single ride was down for a weather delay there’s only 4 rides in the entire park you can ride when it rains. Yikes.

Woman came into the store today with her son and bought a pack of Mario Croc charms one of which is princess peach. and before she even hands it to him she opens the pack takes peach out and literally tosses her behind the counter towards the trash can. (not even in just towards.) and looks at her son and goes”you a little boy you don’t need no girls on your shoes.” And just walks out! And I a person who has empathy towards inanimate objects felt bad for the little charm tossed before she even had a chance so I immediately put her on my shoes right then and there.

Mom has been struggling for a bit and my tax money finally came in and who does she thank? God. She’s been walking around the house going thank you god thank you lord I’m gonna be ok and not a single thank you son! Like that money magically appeared in her bank account

Mom was getting breakfast this morning and held her card out the window to tap it apparently dropped her card perfectly into the Ronald McDonald house donation box and the employees told her they couldn’t open it to get it back out

She did not find it amusing when I asked her if they thanked her for her donation.
