Waited for 30 minutes at Walmart for someone to open this case after asking them to send someone to open it twice!

Took me and 2 women for someone to finally show up and open the case. Asked several passing employees and just kept getting told their app doesn’t open it??? Didn’t wanna give it up because it’s in the wrong spot and I could get it for $20 off which I did

Likely candidates for next years Halloween horror nights

Let’s be honest here the two most likely candidates are backrooms and obsession and I’m really really hoping for an obsession themed one because holy crap is that gonna be terrifying

Mom told me exactly how many minutes I had until I had to get up

So I am one of those people who when I’m sleeping and know I have to get up at a certain time will avoid looking at my phone like the plague so I have no idea what time it is so I can just immediately go back to sleep.

Anyways I was doing that this morning until my mother so kindly poked her head in my room on her way to work and went “ it’s 7:05! You need to get up you have 55 minutes before you gotta get ready!” And most people would be like ah sweet that’s almost another full hour of sleep! But me? I lay there trying to go back to sleep only after a while to go “well now it’s probably like 30 minutes” and after that”now it’s probably 20” and eventually I hear the bane of existence the PORTAL radio music of my alarm going off meaning I laid there for an hour knowing exactly how much time I had left before I had to get up and get ready for work.

Thank you.

I just want to thank this subreddit for being such a supportive and welcoming place I’ve been going through a tough time this past year but it’s been really nice to spend the bad days interacting with you all. Getting to talk about one of my favorite places with likeminded people has been really great so thank you for simply being here and making me smile when i didnt feel like it.

Those who have read it is project Hail Mary worth a read? Or is it almost exactly the same as the movie?

I fucking love the movie and am really considering getting the book and just wanna know if it’s like ready player one where the book and the movie are totally different or if it’s just a longer version of the movie’s story

AITA for not wanting to go visit my grandmother?

Let me preface this by saying I love my grandmother to pieces and have no problem with her.

That being said my mom wants me to go with her this weekend and go see her and the only problem is that the town she lives in there is nothing to do. And everyone I knew from said town has moved on. And you might be asking yourself well why doesn’t OP just talk with his grandmother? I do but our conversations are never very long and so most of the time I end up just sitting there on my phone after we do our brief catch up while my mom and grandmother have conversations I can’t really join in on ( they talk about people from 30 years ago that I’ve never heard of that they apparently follow on Facebook and what they’re up to and distant random relatives and who married who)

and honestly i don’t want to spend my weekend having a 10 minute conversation with her and then just sitting there for the next day and a half and I know my mom and grandmother will be disappointed so am I the asshole here?

AITA for doing my job and not letting people back in after closing?

So I work at a theater. And last night had a group of about 5 people step out after we locked the front doors for closing so they could go smoke weed (meaning you can go out we just aren’t allowed to let you back in.) and when they finish smoking they suddenly start snatching and pulling and pounding on the door and I’m not supposed to open the door once you go out.

So I do my best to just ignore them and chalk it up to shouldn’t have left. But after about 5 minutes I get sick of listening to them screaming and pounding on this door so I open the thing and immediately start getting cussed out because apparently they left a little boy alone in the crowded auditorium while they went out to smoke and apparently that makes me the asshole. And go on about how he could have been kidnapped and it would have been my fault for not letting them in sooner.

Should fast and furious supercharged be gutted or turned into another screen ride?

Realized today that I’ve now bought every movie that has a ride based on it at universal

Over the past year or so I’ve been buying movies here and there for my collection and as I was taking a look at my collection today I realized that I had accidentally bought every movie that has a ride based on it at universal (minus the kids area past ET) so I guess I’ll have a movie marathon in the weeks leading up to my trip!
