2019 Subaru Outback 2.5i 110k Mil CVT

I require assistance regarding a recent observation. Approximately one month ago, my vehicle's coolant system underwent a drain and refill procedure, with the coolant level initially registering near the full mark. Upon inspection today, I noted that the coolant level has decreased significantly, now approaching the low mark. This coolant change was caused by an incident where washer fluid was inadvertently added to the coolant reservoir. I remained unaware of this for two days, only discovering the issue when a substantial puddle formed beneath my 2019 Outback 2.5i. Consequently, I am concerned about the possibility of a leak or a head gasket issue. I have not observed any large puddles so far, only those typically associated with AC condensation. I have not noticed any smoke, or elevated engine temperatures, nor abnormal oil coloration.

To anyone that had emergency surgery how did your boss take it?

I think the boss felt like an ass on Wednesday night. Around 9:00 PM on Wednesday night, I told him I was at the ER and wasn't sure if I could make it to my shift at ******* but I would let him know if I could. The boss said, "I need a doctor's note as this is short notice, four hours before your shift. Also, start calling people to take your shift." When I called him back about 30 minutes later to let him know I was being admitted, his tone changed to, "Take care of yourself; keep me updated." It's like, really, why wasn't that his initial response? I've never called in sick before, and that day was only a three-hour shift. Has anyone else experienced this?

Dismissed as "just heartburn" two weeks ago... turns out my gallbladder was completely inflamed, with stones.

Welp, I’m officially part of the no-gallbladder club.

Two weeks ago, I went to the ER with chest pain right under my right rib cage. The doctor didn't run a single test and sent me home, claiming it was "just heartburn."

Fast forward to this past Wednesday night: the exact same pain hit me, so I went back to the ER. This time, they actually ran a CT scan with contrast. By the time I wheeled back into my room from imaging, radiology had already flagged it. The ER doctor walked in and told me I was being admitted immediately to get my gallbladder removed. It was heavily inflamed and packed with gallstones. The doctor even confirmed that my "heartburn" two weeks ago was almost certainly a missed gallbladder attack that went untested.

They put me on IV antibiotics while I waited for a room, and I finally went into surgery around 5:00 PM on Tuesday. Recovery took a little longer than expected post-op, so they kept me for almost another 24 hours. I was finally discharged on Friday at 5:00 PM.

Currently resting at home and recovering. Looks like I’m going to be out of work for two weeks, but I'm just glad the source of the pain is finally gone!

Oh and I found out that my insurance isn't covering the hospital stay because in there words "Results of our review The request tells us you went to the hospital because of problems with your gallbladder. Under the plan clinical criteria, we can only approve a full hospital admission when severe problems exist. These might include severe infection, blockage (of the gallbladder or bile duct), or severe pain requiring frequent medicines through a vein (intravenous medicine). The information we have does not show you have these or other severe problems. For this reason, we cannot approve the request for full admission."

But the funny part is when I was in the ER and hospital waiting surgery I was put on antibiotics, pain medicine, and IV fluids.

A light switch that flips breakers on and off

Was doing security patrols at a warehouse and had to turn the lights on. I noticed this: they have light thant are controlled by breakers not a normal switch, this switch looks as it controls breakers, as when they're turned on and off you hear the breaker trip sound. How does this work? Are the benefits only that you don't have to open the breaker box?

How long can I Drive on leaking cv boot? Subaru Outback

2019 Subaru Outback 2.5i 108k. The first picture was taken on June 18th, the day I got home after my sway bar links were replaced. I did not think that the liquid was from a CV issue; I thought it could have been WD-40 to help remove the sway bar link that the other mechanic used, but they eventually used a torch. I had my TPMS sensors replaced yesterday, and this is what the independent mechanic showed me: He asked me if a torch or grinder was used to replace the sway bar links. I said yes. He informed me my CV axle boot has a large burn hole in it. How long can I wait before I should get it replaced? On the weekend, I drive about 55 miles to work for 2 days, so an estimated 220 miles total for the weekend. Monday-Friday, I only drive about 30 miles a day. I'm currently in the process of waiting to hear back if the other body shop will pay for this damage.

Never going to Farm and Fleet 2019 Subaru Outback 2.5i

Never going to Farm and Fleet for work ever again. This is their second mistake. First, during my oil change, they added washer fluid to the coolant reservoir, which I didn't notice for two days. At least they drained everything and filled it with Peak. Now today, as I was getting the TPMS replaced, I saw that my CV boot has a hole in it from the grinder used. Hopefully, they pay for the replacement.

Edit grinder for sway bar end links replacement

AR coating bad

I'm starting school soon for a carpentry trade. I was looking at ArmouRx 7108 Safety Glasses. I've heard that due to the high levels of dust in construction and carpentry, having an AR coating is bad as it attracts dust. Is this true?

Safety glasses AR Coating bad?

Hello, I'm unsure if this is the right group. I'm starting school soon for a carpentry trade. (I already took my OSHA Construction 30.) I know OSHA requirements for safety glasses, as I need prescription glasses. I was looking at ArmouRx 7108 Safety Glasses with permanent side shields. I was also looking at getting Trivex instead of polycarbonate due to the higher clarity I would get. I've heard that due to the high levels of dust in construction and carpentry, having an AR coating is bad as it attracts dust. Is this true?

M32 and M34 3 year relationship i got dumped because I got mad when you said yap when i texted you?

I know this is a longer one. Its a text exchange that just happened this evening.

Me: looks likes its raining by me

Him: yap

Me: okay sorry

Him: Yap lol wow you get butthurt over everything don’t you. You really need to calm down with your anger issues towards me, i can’t do anything right without you getting moody

Me: TTYL

Him: So you’re gonna punish me and be mean to me because i said “yap” got it

Him: Why are you being an ahole to me

Me: I'm in the progress of work on my anger issues like you asked me to

Him: Because I was being goofy and said yap, its automatically my fault got it Ok fine, I’m changing relationship status to single. We are officially done. We are friends and no more.

Plus, I never got compliments because he said, "You're not five; I don't need to compliment you unless you do something extraordinarily beautiful. That's not how the real world works." I pass an 30 hour testing exam with a 95% all i got was a cool.

Also could never sleep in same bed, because I toss and turn, and he was a light sleeper. Plus we never had any fun time because he said his meds, that including no cuddling.

For some reason it was hard for me to leave in the past. I'm still sad its over. But I think this was the best thing.

I would really appreciate the honesty that this is the best for me and I shouldn't try to to get back with him.

Carpentry and overweight.

Greetings everyone, I am currently employed as a security officer and am seeking a career transition. I am 31 years old and weigh 270 pounds at a height of 5'3". While I acknowledge my current weight, I possess a strong passion for hands-on work. I am confident that my autism spectrum condition will contribute to my dedication and career focus, as I'm an individual that likes working with my hands. I recently applied to a trade school for a technical diploma in "Building Trades Carpentry", and after being on the waitlist, I have been accepted and will commence my studies in the fall. After I graduate I attend start a union job in WI. I successfully completed my OSHA 30 Construction certification last week, achieving a score of 95%. In 2022, I also obtained my OSHA 30 General Industry card, as my professional focus at that time was in the safety field. Is there anything I should watch out for or put extra focus in during this time.

I was also fortunate to receive the DeWalt DCD794 and DCF809 as gifts. I intend to utilize these tools throughout my academic pursuits. Are these suitable tools for initial use? I am also aware that as a union worker, I will likely be supplied with power tools.

Oil change and different colored coolant? 2019 Subaru Outback 2.5i 108k miles Auto

I've been busy with work and was about 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change, so I went to Farm & Fleet to get one. Thursday afternoon, I did a longer drive than normal, about 55 miles. I needed to add some washer fluid, so when I finished driving, I opened the hood and found my coolant extremely full. The liquid in the coolant reservoir was blue, whereas before it was universal green, as a body shop put in universal green when I hit a deer about 8 months ago. My washer fluid was empty, so I believe they added washer fluid to the coolant reservoir. When I called, they said they only fill washer fluid. They said I could come in, and after checking the cameras, they did see that someone filled it with washer fluid. As it is still separated from coolant and washer fluid, they are taking out the reservoir, emptying it all out, rinsing it, and then filling it with the correct coolant. They also drained the radiator and put in Peak Asian blue coolant. Do I need to worry about it mixing with the universal green?

Did post this in a Subaru Reddit but would like to get information from mechanics thank you

Oil change and different colored coolant?

Edit. When i called they said they only fill washer fluid, they said I can come in they check cameras and did see that someone filled it with washer fluid, as it is still separated they are taking out the reservoir emptying it all out rinsing it out then filling it with the right coolant also drain the whole system

Been busy with work and was about 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change so I went to Farm & Fleet to get an oil change Thursday afternoon today I did a longer drive than normal about 55 miles. I needed to add some washer fluid so when I got done driving I opened the hood and found my coolant extremely full. The coolant was blue when before it was Universal green as you can see the bottom of the coolant reservoir has the green in it and the top is the blue, I smelt it and it does smell sweet so I believe it is coolant and not wash your fluid. My car didn't it overheat it stayed at the temperature it normally does just wondering if there's anything I should worry about.

I know i don't need the foam cutouts but.

I like having the foam cut outs as it helps keep them from rattling around when driving but also I know if it was missing one. Heading into carpentry of course not all these tools are going to be Carpenter use as I do also work my own car

Brother J1365WD

I have performed three standard cleaning cycles and one heavy-duty cycle, yet I am still unable to restore the magenta line. I recently acquired this printer. I have read that leaving the printer turned off for 24 hours might be beneficial; could you confirm if this is accurate?
