Ordered some Safety Shoes

I need safety shoes for carpentry class, and since my tools are DeWalt, I figured I'd get DeWalt shoes too. So I ordered the APEX BOA Composite Toe, which are also oil and slip-resistant, waterproof, and electrical hazard protected.

No way work boots can fit in that envelope.

Plus that dro envelope is not even this address its 6 miles away. And according to you guys you dropped off a service tag number for the address because it needs to be signed. So FedEx can do something about the Home Ground shipment that was wrongly delivered to me, but they can't do anything about the SmartPost that they themselves upgraded to Ground.

2ah or 3.5 XR ?

So, I'm starting carpentry classes for a technical diploma in the fall. I got the atomic drill and driver kit, the dcd794, dcf809. Should I upgrade the batteries to the new PowerStack or PowerPack? Or should I wait and see if I need more power later in the year?

AI cameras and Patrol vehicle

Ugh, I hate that my company put AI cameras in the work vehicles. Even when I'm stopped and parked, doing an incident report on the site phone, it beeps at me to put the phone down or says I'm distracted. Even when I'm doing outside scans if if I don't buckle up just driving about 200 ft it yells at me to put on seat belt I'm in a parking garage going 5 miles an hour you do not need to beep at me

New site same client

Patrolling this new site as the previous renters vacated it's a fairly new building just thought it was cool to see older badge reader the size of a large dinner plate considering this building has the standard and the newer half credit card size.

Apprenticeship

So I was looking at an apprenticeship and hopefully can find one.

I looked at ABC-WI, but they don't work with the school I applied to and got into.

I also tried the Carpenters Training Institute, but to be in their program, it "requires both employment and schooling for a total of 7,000 hours to complete and become a well-rounded Journeyperson. Sponsorship with a union contractor is required to enroll."

So I can't do that because I have not found an apprenticeship program.

Does anyone know any tips on how I can find an apprenticeship program? Or should I wait to finish my technical diploma at the college and then look?

Safety glasses and prescription glasses

Greetings, everyone. I am a new member and will be commencing carpentry classes in the fall. I wear prescription glasses and am seeking recommendations for suitable safety goggles that can accommodate them. I have been considering the DEWALT Concealer Safety Goggles with Clear Anti-Fog Lenses.

I 33M and my 35M 2.5 year relationship fighting because I want to go back to school to get better job

I’m not sure where to begin, but I’ve been with my boyfriend for about two and a half years. I currently work in private security, but I want to transition into a more hands-on career in the trades. To improve my opportunities and earning potential, I recently applied to a technical college about 40 miles away.

When I shared this with my boyfriend, his response focused mainly on potential negatives, such as not being accepted, difficulties with federal financial aid, or concerns that my disability could affect my chances. I asked why he had not expressed anything positive or encouraging about my decision.

His response was that I was “too needy for compliments,” that I am “32, not 5,” and that he was “not going to baby” me or “cater” to wanting praise. He also said he wanted some time away from me for a few weeks. I explained that I was not asking for excessive praise, only some encouragement for trying to improve my career and future. He responded by saying he is “not a people pleaser” and does not believe in giving “empty compliments.”

This situation has left me wondering whether it is unreasonable to want encouragement or acknowledgment from a partner when making a positive step toward improving my life and career.

He said I think we need time away from each other again. You're being an ass because I told vou make sure youre accepted 1st before applying for fafsa. What should my next steps be level him be for a while?
