We are sailing on the Disney wish coming up as concierge guests.

Is it possible anywhere on the ship to meet up with Mickey and Minnie?? When I called the concierge number they booked us a time for the Royal gathering, but from what I’m reading, Mickey and Minnie are not there.

When we were at Disney world we took our son to meet both of them but couldn’t actually get to them. So kind of left defeated with that, so I really want to try and make his day by finding both of them.

Anyone know for sure where and if they may be lurking on the ship?

So we have a 3.5-year-old son who is an extremely picky eater.  

The kid loves hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries, mini tacos, mini meatballs, strawberries, blueberries. He does sometimes eat hamburgers and cheeseburgers, unless there’s too much cheese, and then you have to scrape the cheese off lol.  And he will sometimes eat steaks when I make them.

He’ll eat chips if you let him, some chocolate, fruit snacks, yogurts, and pickles.  

He loves water and will randomly ask for it. He hates everything else like juice.

We cannot get this kid to try any other food. When he was younger, we would give him like peas and carrots, but he wouldn’t really eat them after like the third time. And then we would mix them into mashed potatoes or other foods, and he would realize it and spit it out, but he also doesn’t like mashed potatoes anymore.

We tried to give him different foods or try to give him foods to try like cheese or cheese sticks, and he doesn’t want anything to do with them. He really won’t try vegetables, and he won’t try other foods really in general.

It’s tough because at his day care, which he goes twice a week, they are very strict about what foods he can have from home because of other people in the class having “allergies.” They have some complicated lunches some days like yesterday was chicken, broccoli, and rice, which obviously is not stuff that he eats together and he won’t try. They have been trying for months to get him to eat the food they supply, but they can’t get him to do it. So we always send food with him, which because of all the restrictions, their lunch is usually some fruit snacks, yogurts, and pita bread.   

We aren’t allowed to send anything that they have to prepare or heat up.   

He doesn’t like to eat lunch meat or sandwiches. He can’t eat peanut butter and jelly there, but he also doesn’t like those anyway.

And he just recently started wanting bowls of cereal, which is a huge thing.  

Making something and only that one thing and trying to get him to eat it has failed.  He will just decide to literally not eat.   I don’t know how he has the willpower or stubbornness to do it, but if he doesn’t want it, he just will shut down and choose to not eat.   

He has tried some stuff after prolonged fights and then spits it out after a few bites.   A few months ago, I got him to eat broccoli, and he ate it, and just one day he doesn’t like it anymore. He doesn’t want anything to do with it. He will luckily eat French toast sticks and pancakes for breakfast, but he doesn’t like waffles anymore.

Does anyone have any guidance or tricks?  We have tried multiple things and are continuing to try, but then we have days where the one lady who helps teach class at his daycare gives us grief because he doesn’t eat the food they give. Which, looking at their menu sometimes, is stuff I would not eat as an adult lol. 

Between the food issue and starting to try and potty train I feel like I’m aging 10 years a week

Our first cruise is coming up and I saw in the app when looking at this to buy on board they have skywalker wine.

If I buy it, am I able to not open it and just keep it in my room so I can take it with when we leave??

Or is there anyplace onboard the wish to buy it since they obviously have it somewhere on there?

I’d rather grab it in person than have it shipped from California. We are driving home then so no worry about flying.

I wanna pick up the blue alpha battle belt lite but want to make sure I get the right size so i dont have to deal with any hassle exchanging.

Some pants I wear 38, some pants I wear 40.

I currently have two EDC belts from them, one 38 and one 40. I really dont notice a different in the way it fits.

What would be the best size to get that would be perfect?

I am confused about the purpose of

Users and sharing -> aliases

and under setup
My email addresses.

Under aliases

if you make a new alias using either Fastmail or my domain I cannot tell it which folder to send the mail too.

but if you go under my email address, the same aliases I made under that tab all show up as an aliases as the type. then I have the action set up for some, like deliver to work folder, deliver to banking folder and so on.

If the addresses I make under the email addresses tab show as aliases, then what is the point of the aliases tab under users and sharing?

I'd like to have a new email for each service or something I sign up and go to their designated folders.

Should addresses for very important things be made under "my email addresses" and then everything else be made under the users and sharing tab for aliases?

So I was trying to mount my brand new G5 ultra turret that I just got at microcenter at my garage door and as I was doing it, I was trying to staple the pigtail up above the garage door to keep it up there.

One staple went through the cord. The camera lost power.

As soon as I took the staple out, the camera started working again.

Should I return the camera or should I just let it alone as it is since it’s working? Any ideas why it would’ve started working as soon as a staple was removed? It really makes me nervous that I ruined this brand new camera that’s not even an hour old.

Update

Just checked the footage it actually never lost power. It was updating. There is a cut in the rubber but it is alright it looks like and all functions work. Wiggling the camera and cord does nothing. So it’s all good?

I’ve emailed support and have been getting the run around with them.

Curious if anyone here has any advice.

I bought directly from Anker the c1000 because we were without power.

It was to come last Monday. It didn’t. Then Tuesday, didn’t come. Wednesday it didn’t come and I had FedEx start a trace, it updated and said it was coming Thursday. I called again and spoke to someone in the trace department or whatever they call themselves. They put me on hold and said they were calling the local station.

They got back on the phone and said they had no idea why it wasn’t getting delivered despite it sitting at the local FedEx place for 4 days. It just wasn’t getting loaded onto a truck. Thursday night updates, says delivery Friday.

Nothing came Friday. Updated and says delivery today Saturday.

Welp, today is Saturday and it updated saying delayed again and delivery will not be attempted.

I reached out to Anker who said “it says out for delivery”. It was never updated ever, at any point saying that.

Then two days later when I reached out to them they told me to wait because again “it’s on its way to you”.

They told me to reach out to seel who did the protection on shipping. I did.

They told me I have to wait until 8/5 to make a claim. Literally 30 days after it was shipped. I’m not waiting 30 days lol.

Has anyone had this issue? Should I just charge back my card? I don’t care if they black list any future purchase, I just either want what I paid for or my money back.

I called FedEx today and they have zero idea WTF is going on with it. It keeps leaving the local station, going to another one, coming back the same day to the local location, then leaving again and coming back.

1 gallon of 89 non ethanol fuel, should be fine just to pour into the tank via a funnel, right?

So we haven’t had power for about 40 hours because of storms and no idea when we will get power back.

I bought a brand new EU2200 this morning.

I read the manual this morning before I bought it. Is there anything I need to really do before or after?

I’m gonna go home and start it and plug some stuff in to charge stuff back up (Anker solix power stations and Milwaukee chargers to power some battery powered fans) and some other stuff. I was gonna buy it for our freezer but was too late. So RIP to that food.

Whenever we get power back, I obviously won’t need the generator anymore but will keep it for times like this.

I plan to drain the fuel and such. There isn’t anything else to do right? Some places online say to use a fuel stabilizer but would I need to do that if I’m running it out of gas and then draining the gas?? Confused on that part.

So I just bought the Anker solix 300 with the AC ports.

I’m taking it with on a road trip which has a stop in central Florida for a cruise.

If I can park in a parking garage I’ll feel a bit better. However, if it’s m unable to park in a parking garage or covered spot. Will it be alright to stay in a vehicle that gets hot in the Florida heat??

So I want to buy a pair of wayfarer gen 2.

However I am conflicted on whether or not I just want them to be clear, sunglasses or transitions. These will not be for daily wear, I won’t be using them while driving. Only wearing them while doing cool things on vacations or trips. There are a lot of times at amusement parks with my kid that I wish I could record our memories while on a ride while he’s still a toddler. Those rides occur inside and outside. So that’s where my dilemma comes into play.

Clear makes sense because I could use them outside wearing a hat to help with brightness and then be able to wear them inside.

Sunglasses really, the winner for outside I think because they are the darkest but then not a good option to wear inside.

Transition seems like a good balance because obviously inside and outside wear.

With the transitions I have some questions. Which get the darkest outside?

Or

Clear/Grey Transitions?

Or should i just say screw it and get clear only?

So we are doing a Disney cruise in October and used the Disney inspire card for that. So we will be getting the $200 reward dollars for using that and meeting the amount required.

On the day we leave the ship, we want to hit up Disneyworld and stay at either contemporary or Coronado.

I want to get the $100 reward dollar for spending $200 or more on park tickets. However you can’t get that if they’re booked with the resort because then it’s a package.

However, I have a plan to buy premier pass.
Can I book the hotel separately and then buy the tickets later so that I get the $100 reward and then somehow have it linked to the resort stay so that we can premier pass or lightning lane regular 7 days ahead?

So we have a Disney cruise coming up in October. It’ll be our first cruise and we are going with our 3 year old.

We are going on the Disney wish, 3 night cruise.

The one stop we will be at castaway cay, which is fine. We will probably get the cabana there since we requested it and are concierge.

However the one day, is at Nassau….i feel like there isn’t much to do there. I asked the concierge about what to do at Nassau and she was honest and said there isn’t much to do with a 3 year old there.

Which, our kiddo would be free still. And we’d pay the $240 for us each. However is it worth it?? Reading online it’s really a toss up.

We are debating about cancelling that excursion and using that money to buy premier pass for the one day we are going to MK after the cruise.

So if we don’t do that Atlantis thing, what realistically is there to do in Nassau? Can we get off and walk around ourselves or better off just staying on the ship and doing something?

Originally I bought three tickets with lightning lane for my wife, kid and myself.

How do I go about buying two more tickets and lightning lane for two people that have 1, no Disney account, 2, have no smart phone 3 have zero idea how technology works.

What is the best way to go about this? I’d rather just manage it for them because there is literally a 0% chance we’ll all get the same lightning lane times together lol.

So I am new to this card and I was reading the stuff in the app.

It says for the dining credit I won’t get the credit if I use a digital wallet for it.

So if I use Apple Pay for dining stuff I won’t get the $25 back?

Some people say they use Apple Pay to reload their chick fil a balance for $25 and get that $25 back, so is that not the case??

So I have ups my choice premium. I’ve had it for awhile.

I recently got three packages delivered to my local ups store. The package was coming to my address and as soon as I got the notification saying label was printed, I went onto UPS and selected change delivery. And selected hold at UPS store. Which is free to do so because of my choice premium.

I did the same thing for a package today. However I went to pick it up at the same location and they said it was a redirect and I had to pay $5.

Wtf is that about??

I tried calling UPS but it says wait times are over an hour.
