Would the So Much Variety modifier make Lightless technically more potentially easy?

Recently started the grind of trying to beat the game without light sources, and as I previously had done some runs with Modifiers I just randomly wondered, how exactly is the Spawn of Nodes decided? Like if Angler cannot spawn anymore, by default would that make it so like, Pinkie would be more likely? So like a good run would have multiple Pinkies and not as many lights breaking after it spawns.

With that different, separate project happening, will progression not be Reset in Pressure later?

I haven't been keeping up with aaall the news, just heard that another game was being made? So, will the original plan of when the 4th step is reached, the big rework, the "legacy" version that'd be accessible but with reset progression, not happen? Honestly, I'd be more than fine if the reworked idea is its own thing, changing Pressure as a whole and deleting progress was always kinda lame...

AITA for snapping at my dad after he kind of ruined my first job experience?

Just tonight, a few hours ago, I (23 m) finally got to take on my first job at a bar, a nice one, thanks to my dad (53 m) going to them a lot and being friends with a lot of owners, so one offered the role and I accepted, my dad went tonight as well as it is my first day.

Everything went actually quite well for several hours, I learned some of the basics, cleaned stuff, took the orders from the customers, and such.

Eventually, the boss told me when we were nearing 2 AM that it'd be closing hours soon.

Well... I just left it to come back home at 4:30 AM.

My dad loves talking and talking and chatting and chattering to anyone, he can turn a simple trek to the nearest kiosk a 10 minutes endeavor in an average day, and now at a bar? With friends? And drinks?

Literally almost every other customer left and he and another friend of his just kept on talking with two other customers who didn't leave due to being engaged with the chat, over TWO hours of nonstop talking, all the while I just... sat by the side and went to the kiosk to buy myself something sweet to at least have something, it kept going, I was tired, sleepy, the whole thing should've ended like two hours ago and I had made it so blatantly clear with my faces and exasperated expressions and he didn't even notice them once I think.

So I snapped, even with the two customers still being there, and the boss sitting nearby, I told my dad that I work at (x) days of the week, so please come ANY TIME OTHER THAN THAT and that he ruined my first time at the job which had gone really well the four hours before he did that stuff, finally he called a taxi at last and now I'm here.

AITA? I don't want my dad to ever come during my own working hours because I just know he will consistently just pull this off.

Why does Fromsoftware barely do anything with different-class Paired weapons?

It was such a kick ass idea in DS2, alongside its version of Powerstance in general compared to Elden's far more limited one, and one of the best things was getting to pair different weapon classes as long as they shared a damage type. But afterward with both 3 and Elden, at least as far as I know or could count, we've got.. 3 weapons that aren't same class together, and even then, one of the 3 is literally just a sword 'n board set, then another is a Light gs and a straight, and the most unique thing is the Crow Quills (my beloved) pairing a rapier with a claw which is quite the combo.

Seriously with all the weapons, there couldn't be some more cross-class goodness?

I hate fake transparent backgrounds

Seriously, why do people even do this? What's the idea? Have people search for whatever image they might currently need for a project, take it, and then they find themselves at an ugly checkers pattern or a big white box covering half of the image? I find zero purpose for this instead of just giving ACTUAL transparency, and then the images lie to you all the time by specifically saying "Transparent background" or what such. If I search for transparent background in the search bar, just GIVE THE IMAGES WITH THOSE!

Convergence builds to start over that are still a decent challenge?

This may sound a bit weird, but soon after beating Starscourge Radahn, I just feel I am too strong for basically anything that isn't an actually new boss like the Matriarch. Dragon cultist start, Early game I was strong with Prince's Blades but things skyrocketed quite fast when I followed getting stuff from the class notes, including getting Fundamentalist stuff since Faith, and oh my, Triple Ring of Light with cerulean hidden tear and faith boosters kinda just nuked over a dozen bosses and most minor erdtree ones in half a minute at most, then Gravelstone Archablades... that thing was too strong, Rennala died in three attacks and crowds just kept getting wiped, so I "downgraded" to Godwyn's Cragblades, still quite insane amounts of damage with just two charged R2s.

So I'd like to ask for builds that aren't comically strong so I can just reset? Like, fun and good but not OP? Melee seems to be even more broken tbh, based on the armor effects I've read, so probably not that.

Convergence neutering Great Runes so much feels weird.

I just killed Radahn and got his rune, and I saw that half the effect is the exact same as Godrick's, 10% more HP, Godrick's has some more soul gain, Radahn's gets... 5 Endurance levels, and I feel kinda miffled by this? I can only assume that all great runes will be some HP and then one small other effect and it feels weird. Convergence finally made Rune Arcs not an absolute pain to get and you even get freebie great rune uses on beating bosses (which by default, is a limited number of times of course), and everything else is tuned up to high heavens (my lightning/holy knight has wrecked so much with triple rings of light, gravelstone archblades, Godwyn's Cragblades and what such that I even feel bad oftentimes), but Great Runes is where they draw the line at keeping undertuned? Really?

Why don't moderators uphold votes more often when it comes to controversial rules?

It's something that I don't understand that I saw happen so often in multiple subs, mods will throw in some new rule, make a new thread about it, then multiple times there will be a large amount of comments arguing, the thread is locked, any following callouts or questioning is also locked and/or people are banned, when they could just.... open a vote and let their community decide? What do they gain from going heavily against their own group? A single voting would just make most issues go away and make people not mad at them

Got permanently banned from the *other* sub, forever so, hiiii!

I've seen this subreddit pop up a few times and over there is madness sooo... this may be the last hope for a Deltarune community in Reddit, hahahahahaaaaa... I want to discuss Deltarune and particular topics with people online, in places that aren't constantly moving Discord servers where discussion shifts all the time. so I hope this sub's good! V2 always means it's an upgrade over original v1, ye!?

Sob, Waaaaaa! 8 years for nothing...

Let's be friends!!

Hate... Burn them all to the ground, proceed to...

For actual content in this post... How would you rate this Sub as a whole? Like, has it been good? Average? 10/10? Does it have a good amount of content? I wanna know!

So, is Albinauric Sluaghter the only high end rune spot in Convergence?

Here I was, strolling to Moghwyn palace to kill a bunch of birds just to raise my strength to try out new weapons (These lightning colossal paired weapons), there I go and... no bird.

The frog people are there, but oh golly is Sacred Relic Sword many miles away, is there like, anywhere else readily available?

Regal Ancestor Spirit bugged in Convergence?

Just random thing, but I got the pillars in Siofra, got surprised by it being the Regal version right away, summoned my Bloodhound Knight, drank my wondrous, started throwing an infinillion of Triple rings of light, boss got to half HP, teleported away and... died, the HP bar just suddenly dropped to 0, and I got the rewards. Anyone else?

Anyone feels like breaking the prophecy on a *technicality* like Princess would just be... lame?

All other discourse aside and not specifically about wheter Ralsei is trans or what not, this isn't about that, purely about that one argument I've seen about "This is about breaking fate and breaking off pre-determined clauses" so Ralsei becoming a "princess" would be part of it but... With how the prophecy is like a big looming threat that is only taken seriously after you get past its first few comedic panels, just pulling a LOTR's "I am no man" would feel like... kinda cheap writing? With that same logic, Susie could change fate in an instant by just calling herself "The Boy" so his choice would get rid of either interpretation of the two "The Girl".

Dunno, just feel like it should be more than just loopholes and technicalities.

So, since a loading screen said there's no Soft caps, does that mean I *should* level my main stat to 99 in Convergence?

Started as a dragon cultist but double dipped as a fundamentalist in matter of secondary weapon and spells, I had no idea about that, but one of the loading screens randomly said that.

Is late game Convergence balanced around having like 80-99 in the main stat (Faith for this one) to keep up with enemy HP? I could already notice some things have been tankier, or is that more so if I went to do ng+?

Convergence Godrick... Oof.

Just got to him in my holy dragon cult build with Prince's Blades, LV43 and 43 faith counting armor buffs and zamn, Margit and all of Stormveil were quite normally scaled and my throwing daggers were doing great, got to Godrick and holy heck I do pretty much no damage, I read around, and apparently he had a comically hefty HP buff to put him in line with other demigods, mod has been amazing in like everything so far, but this is the first eeeeh thing, he's so comically above the area scaling of Stormveil and Varre flat out said if no great runes, no round table, so I cannot get my weapons past +3 so like, what big damage jump are the devs expecting when facing Godrick to make him feel normal, if the weapons and scaling will suck at the time?

Edit: I am an idiot.

Tips for RL1 Finger Ruins?

Just got there and I... didn't think how bad it could get with, well, getting sniped, grabbed, first part of the grab popping my bubble and then... I die, I hate those snipers, but I seriously wanna do Metyr so I can get the Night Sisters spirit ash for other hard bosses.

I wanna try my first Convergence run for an actually focused magic run, starting class recommendation?

I've done my first vanilla run in Elden Ring cosplaying as Isshin, so I had some fire and lightning spells but weren't really the focus or used all the time, and in my level 1 run I run basically 0 spells besides stuff like cleanse me, I'd be interested on a magic focused run, but I have no idea how much Convergence changes the magic so whatever I know about spells and such probably won't apply, what would you recommend? What are fun spell classes here in 3.0?

I feel like Weird Knight doesn't make sense

The theory about RK being some sort of amalgamate thing between Noelle and Kris from the Weird route feels... eeeeh? Like, knight's identity has just been so blatantly foreshadowed for years with the most clear candidate of Dess if you actively search for some stuff, which you can find in any route, but then this theory goes as if the reveal would be from something in the super duper hidden route that the casual player wouldn't see, and made out of an extremely short scene that happens after 5 chapters and we won't see anything else about until 7? It feels like it throws away blatant Knight foreshadowing to make some random twist super close to the very end.

Also it wouldn't really feel like much to a fully pacifist player if they never touched weird route in any degree, heck, it would be like a bunch of nonsense as a reveal. "We're Kris and Noelle... we drowned and merged..." like, when and where?

Followed steps I read here for Elden Ring's Convergence 3.0, but it opens as 2.3?

Anybody's got an answer? I did what some posters around said with adding the -skip steam and what such and opening as admin, but for some reason it literally opens the wrong version?

Wait... The hacker is LEGIT?

We... literally "obby" (as in platforming) for most of the pink coins which we then use, indeed, for catgirl...

Hacker saw the code of Deltarune?!
