To the people who have played every DVloper game; Could you make a tier-list ranking of them?

I'm kind of curious about playing through every single DVloper game, but before doing so I just wanna see what other peoples rankings of the games are.

I might've been concussed as a kid and never got checked...

In elementary school when I was 10-12 years old I was playing tag during recess. There was an area that was sealed off by a chain, I didn't notice the chain and ran towards it, the chain hooked me in the stomach and then sent my head flying back against the concrete.

Later that day I had badminton club. I was really great at badminton, key word: "was". Because on that day, strangely, I completely forgot how to play. Like my body wasn't listening to me or moving how it used to, I couldn't swing the racket properly or hit the shuttle once. The teacher was really confused too.

When I got home I told my n-mom about it, how I hit my head hard and then wasn't able to play Badminton even though I was a really good player.

She just laughed.

And that was it. Never got checked, never went to the hospital. I've just continued life like nothing even happened.

How to stop mouse cursor bugging out?

I've had this problem recently where my mouse cursor is lagging in movement, making the experience really difficult.

tbh I've had a lot of issues with this game in the past, like not being able to exit the game window, or only loading a pitch black screen, crashing, etc etc etc

these past issues eventually just fixed themselves somehow.

I downloaded from Steam btw on laptop

Anyone else think Rockstar Bonnie in UCN is scary af?

When it comes to discussions on the scariest animatronics, I rarely see Rockstar Bonnie get mentioned.

Genuinely, it's pose and render in UCN is terrifying, even scarier than the original Bonnie imo.

Michael Jackson Blood On The Dancefloor CD booklet UK; Anyone else remember this?

I have a distinct memory as a kid opening the Blood On The Dancefloor CD, and the booklet contained inside the CD had information about an event where a selection of lucky children could win the chance to learn dancing with Michael himself if you sign up for it. At least, something along those lines.

Am I imagining this? The CD was bought in the UK by the way.

If anyone remembers, please let me know.

Complete beginner, want to create a dice simulator. Where to begin?

Hello everyone!

I have no experience in gamedev whatsoever, but I really want to create a dice simulator. It won't just be standard dice, but I want it to be customizable, have different operators, functions, probabilities, values, etc etc

I'm not looking to make a game per se, so don't worry about graphics. I just want to simulate dice, and take it to the extreme.

So where do I begin? What type of coding would you recommend?

Incremental games that don't require offline time to progress?

I've been getting into incremental games recently, but a pattern I've noticed is that after an hour or so of playing, the progression hits a wall that can only be overcome through leaving the game idle for hours offline and coming back to it the next day.

I'm not that patient of a person🥹I want to be able to see progression whilst I'm still playing.

Does anyone have any reccommendations for fun games that allows for progression without needing offline time?

Growing up on Gore content

I wanted to be vulnerable and talk about something that I feel isn't talked about enough: Addiction to Gore content.

Especially for people growing up in the digital age, I think this is genuinely a widespread problem that needs more acknowledgement.

I have a really bad relationship with my parents. Always, screaming, yelling, blaming, and making every day hell. As a kid with unrestricted internet access, it was ironically through reddit where I was first introduced to gore content.

Gore content is videos or images of violent physical harm, such as people being ran over by cars, cut open, bruised, bloodied, etc etc. Horrifying stuff.

But as a kid, why didn't I look away from it when I found it? Why did I continue to dig deeper, trying to find even more extreme content?

Yes one aspect was definitely morbid curiosity. I was just curious to see something so taboo, curious to know what these acts of violence actually looks like.

But also, the feeling it gave me might of been escapism. It didn't make me happy, feel good, or entertain me. It wasn't positive at all. I felt scared, disgusted, paranoid, depressed, but most of all; I felt hollow.

It hollowed me out. Like the lights in me went out and I became soulless. But this was perfect escapism for me, because I didn't want to feel. When my parents were mad at me, I didn't want to feel it emotionally, I just wanted to be able to tank it and feel nothing. To not care.

Gore content helped me deal my parents, because it made me unreceptive.

But now as I'm older and stopped consuming gore content and have worked on myself mentally, I'm actually the most scared and fragile person you can imagine. I'm extremely squemish and sensitive. But I think it's a step in the right direction. My heightened sensitivity is a result of trauma, but I'm allowing myself to actually feel and process my emotions.

I understand dark arts can help "comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable" and I am not exactly against gore within art or music. But, consuming IRL gore, matter of fact video and imagery, I would personally advise against. It can be addicitve, and you are damaging yourself by consuming it. It's best to stop.

I'm especially worried about the youngest generation, because we are at a time where they have easy access to a completely unregulated internet. I'd even say gore content is sold to children to an extent, I've seen those really disturbing dental and doctor kids games on the google playstore💀, or Insta algorithms pushing some disturbing content for no reason. Somehow it feels like online algorithms are actually pushing this sort of harmful content, either it's designed that way or it's bugged.

I hope this post could resonate with some people.

Why do the arcade games look so pretty tho 🤔?

Mariokart Arcade GP, GP2, and GP DX

Ive never actually played them and only watched footage on Youtube, but I was stunned by how pretty they look visually, especially some race tracks were also really cool designed and creative.

I hope these tracks can make an appearnce in the console games too 🙏🥹

Recent Trash Taste episode: It's pretty clear that people who don't research MJ believe he is guilty, and people who do research MJ believe he is innocent, much to think about...

If you follow true crime channels, or people who actually go through all the court documents, evidence, and books, or the people who provide all the books and articles on the sidebar of r/MJInnocentFacts ... it's pretty clear people who do their research come out of it believing in his innocence.

Then you have people like Connor who gets just consumes information from documentaries without even questioning the people who made those documentaries and their incentives, without even questioning the bigoted media that scapegoats MJ, without even doing any research beyond what is spoonfed to him through algorithms... it's pretty clear they come out of it believing he is guilty.

Interesting.

Why can't they keep quiet? And why do they get offended when you ask them to be quiet?

Talking to themselves, playing music out loud, singing, yelling, shouting...

all day everyday.

And you ask for some quiet, and you get the glare and they get even louder...

Seriously, something is wrong with them...

I'm not asexual nor aromantic but I can't watch p*rn; anyone else?

I'm not asexual nor aromantic but I can't watch porn.

I think it is because porn doesn't make me feel safe or relaxed, and it triggers my flight or freeze response, makes me feel panicked and somewhat scared. It's fast paced and loud. I just don't feel comfortable when I watch it.

But I'm not asexual and I do experience arousal.

I'm just wondering if anyone is in the same boat?

(also lowkey is there such thing as porn thats like, really chill and relaxing. if anyone experiences the same as me but found porn that makes them feel safe and comfortable let me know fr)

Does anyone else come up with fictional ideas in their head and cry to them randomly?

It happens sometimes when I'm washing the dishes, taking a walk, or showering; I'll come up with some fictional story on the spot that's really emotional and then before I know it I can't hold back the tears and start crying to the story I made in my head.

I just hope this isn't indicative of like, some kind of mental illness 💀

Dominated by fear, and realising the only way to progress is to grow strong...

It's reached that point, I'm at the crossroads.

I have no support network, friends, family, or anyone to rely on.

My options are only these two: Grow strong, or commit s*icide.

I can't be dominated by fear anymore. And it's not because I have gotten stronger, it's because I have no choice.

I will walk forward starting today.
