mostly consistent lifting with a 6 ish month gap in 2025 and early 2026. weight gain then loss with muscle loss in between.

Is there a way to steam/foam less milk at once with steam wand?

Hi everyone, I’m new to making espresso at home. I like to drink cortados and macchiatos mostly, but it seems like every milk steaming tutorial requires you to use way more milk (like at the very least 150ml) than is needed for those drinks, and I can’t get a good steam using just the amount of milk I need. I’ve just been using my handheld frothing wand to make a few tablespoons of foam for my macchiatos, but I don’t like that I’m not using the steam wand and getting real steamed milk and microfoam. Is wasting a bunch of milk just a necessary part of the process if you only want to make something like a single cortado or is there something I’m missing?

Most mfp options say around 280 cals per cup, is that too low? I want to fit some of these leftovers from my celebration meal into my day, but idk how to track it. An estimate on protein would be helpful too.

what is going on with the extra piece of yarn that came out of my loops. the working yarn also isn’t on my last stitch anymore. do i just frog the last two rows? i’m a crocheter learning to knit.

want to start reading fiction, fan of david lynch and john waters

i’ve only finished like two fiction books as an adult, one of them was liarmouth by john waters which i really enjoyed. i read some brett easton ellis as a teenager and liked it. i couldn’t finish naked lunch even though i liked the movie. david lynch and john waters are my favorite movie directors, so i think i’d like to read a book with similar vibes. dark themes are ok, but i’d prefer something that isn’t too sad or melodramatic.

Update

I posted here like two weeks ago (first three pics) after a haircut and everyone said my hair is definitely thinning and i’m gonna lose it if i don’t get on meds. i started minoxidil serum and lowered my testosterone dose (i’m ftm and my levels were really high). i feel like my hair looks fine now? does it still look like it’s thinning or did i just get a terrible haircut? wet and dry pictures from today (4-10).

Which layout is better or are both wrong?

Moving into my first apartment at the end of summer and i’m trying to decide how to arrange things. The size of the tv stand, coffee table, and nightands are approximate because I haven’t bought them yet, but the other furniture is set. These are the two layouts that make the most sense to me, but they both feel a little off and I was wondering if anyone has feng shui advice on how to best set things up.

Anyone gotten surgery with John Stranix of UVA or Gabriel De Corral of DC?

Stranix is apparently a pretty well renowned top surgery specialist and takes my insurance, but has no public gallery. I’m waiting on a letter from my therapist to book my consult. Has anyone worked with him?

I’ve also heard Corral had a good reputation and good results, but got accused of stealing other surgeons pictures for his portfolio a few years ago?

I’ve looked into all the doctors I could find in DC and VA, and those are probably my top two that take my insurance, but i’d like to see more verified examples of their work. If anyone else had a great experience with someone else in the area let me know.
