This goes for all genders but why are Aries men so fine?

It doesn’t even have to be looks, although I feel they are often blessed with physical attraction. Mixed with directness, confidence, and energy, they are so freaking appealing to me as an aqua. Softened or grounded by an earth or libra moon? Chef’s kiss. Their intellect is often in step with their propensity for shenanigans. They are the little experimenters, doing things because they can and they wanted to.

Creativity, curiosity, and genuineness when you get past their edges. I fucking love you, Aries.

Guys what’s your favorite noncomedogenic, hydrating everyday facial spf?

I was using Josie Maran for a while but the price has gone up to a point I don’t feel comfortable spending anymore. Pacifica had a Future Youth spf that was amazing for $14 and it looks like they are reformulating their spf’s because they have none but a skin tint on their site and I was emailed to say they have discontinued the others.

I have skin that veers on dry, and oily around the t-zone. I like a glowy finish but honestly I’d just be content with something that WORKS, doesn’t smell like sunscreen, and I can tolerate wearing under light makeup. I don’t wear foundation but have noticed some pill under blush and concealer.

I’ve been reading a lot of dark literature recently and just finished She’s A Lamb, which kind of tipped me over the edge for its main character’s unrelenting delusions that ended in tragedy. I just want to feel good and have my heartstrings tugged a little. I’m usually a fan of popular Japanese fiction, but I also have a hard time getting into the ones I’ve chosen recently.

I’m welcoming of any recommendation that isn’t for a book that is 400 pages and moves at a snail’s pace. I need to feel happy so I can return to being a lover of sad fiction again. Thanks for your recommendations!

I recently posted and deleted the post shortly after. It was about a client of mine who I’ve worked with for a while who asked me to take client’s kitty to the vet when we’d discussed me not doing that. I have had a long relationship with this client where my boundaries had continually been pushed, discussions would arise about certain aspects needing changing (needing to have medical supplies for kitty and often not having adequate amounts, not having kitty food, litter, basic paper goods) and not being aware of the extent of certain health issues the kitty was dealing with. I had said I would no longer be taking Kitty to vet bc I work a fulltime job and could not reasonably fit that into my workday anymore once the vet was changed to one twice as far, and I also don’t think it should be my responsible to do so for regular appointments. I had made emergency vet appointments at various points which were fine, because that’s part of the job. But I found I was at a point where the routine disregard for basic aspects of the role reached a fever pitch, especially as kitty’s health declined and I was also being tasked with extra vet visits that could have been done whilst the owner was home.

I finally quit today. I feel sick to my stomach. We had a bit of a back and forth for a few minutes about my dissatisfaction with the role and how I was treated and disregarded. I consider myself professional and also a people pleaser so even divulging this was hard for me. I’ll miss the kitty so so much!

I once had a failproof online crumb cake recipe that I made once a month for a few months years ago, but I no longer remember which one and I never saved it!

Does anyone have a tried and true? I’ve attempted Vegan Richa and Big Man’s World. VR’s did not even form a batter, it was so dry. BGM tends to have a “taste”, probably from the crumb which tends to melt and pool. I have made both a few times to no avail either time. I follow recipes diligently but this cake is my downfall. Any fave recipes you’d be willing to share? It’s my dad’s favorite thing in the world and I just can’t seem to remember what one I used to great success back in the day…

Background, I’ve been working with a client for several years. First on app. Then I was their nanny, and returned to being their pet sitter.

They have always been pushy, don’t take no for an answer. They’re a husband and wife with a kitty with an ongoing health issue that requires special care. I am able to provide that care, but one of a few nearby that can do so.

I’ve had to deal with constant changes to their itineraries, last minute requests, additional tasks, family coming over during my stay so I had to leave, no medication for kitty, etc etc. I’m pretty laidback so I roll with things, but I admit at times it has worn on me. However, a few months ago I nearly quit because I got tired of the lack of respect. I came into the house with Kitty with diarrhea, no cleaning supplies, no food, and low medication, plus no warning of anything. As I do this work around my regular job, this means I have to work my job and then make time to run out to get the provisions to then begin caring for the cat, meanwhile he requires (or they prefer for him to have) consistent supervision. I told her among other things that I would not return unless these things were changed, and I would not be able to take him to the vet anymore, as I had been okay with doing so as long as it was outside of work hours.

Kitty’s health has worsened. I LOVE this kitty which is also why I put up with so much nonsense. He’s such a sweet kitty, couldn’t harm a fly. Made me change my mind about getting a cat while in my current apartment, he’s so sweet. It makes me so sad. However, the mom is now asking me to take him to the vet despite months ago telling her I could no longer take him to vet appointments. It’s too much for me to do during my workweek, even if I go before work starts. And to be frank, they don’t care if it inconveniences me. I routinely have to take on giving his medication when he’s got another acute illness because she can’t do it, so she’ll go out of town and I’ll care for him. Again, I so love this kitty that i am fine with bearing with it.

I have told her no, I can’t take him. I have bad boundaries, but I’m at my wit’s end with their approach to everything. It’s been taxing on my mental health to not know when I can plan to leave, when I can go home, when I will be leaving my home again. They’re gone often and I haven’t had a lot of breathing room for my own life. So I am being persistent here and feel horrible because this is kitty’s care for his sickness that has worsened. But I really really need to not be responsible.

So I guess I’m approaching an impasse and kind of want to vent but also get reassurance that I’m not crazy? Am I an asshole for not taking kitty to the vet despite things being what they are?

Hi everyone! Currently trying to lose weight, and looking to eat more protein-dense meals. I looooove tempeh but loathe tofu. However, I don’t want to start to hate tempeh too if I end up overdoing it. Did that once before. My dietitian is recommending 30g protein per meal, which is easier for fuller meals but I’m not sure what to do about breakfast and lunch.

What are your favorite resources/recipes/books for quality protein meals, particularly breakfasts? What creators do you follow? I’m following Sophsplantkitchen so far and I love her recipes but want to find some things that are simpler, too.

FWIW ive been vegan for decades, and familiar with all of the mainstay proteins like seitan, tvp, soy curls, etc. I also studied nutrition in undergrad so I’m familiar with my options generally, but really hoping for some recipes/prep suggestions because I am fried and out of ideas!

Hoping mods will allow this. I pretty regularly have my curiosity piqued by brands based out of the US. Andrea Maack is one I purchased while abroad but her site is currently having a sale that is hard to beat. I’d love to actually buy a fragrance I’ve had my eye on for a few years, but I’m nervous about import fees and tariffs. Does anyone have any experience with buying from outside the US since the tariffs were instated? Were they obscenely expensive? I may need to forgo if so, but am curious enough to see
