Blue Monkey (1987) — We’ll be up front, there are no monkeys in this film
From our review: "For what this is and is trying to do, Blue Monkey is quite diverting and hits all of the expected B-movie moments pretty well. My only complaint is that we don’t get to see the full-grown insects until Minute 51, but I was never bored before or after then."
Dracula 3000 (2004) — I can’t believe they made 2999 of these so far
From our review: "Dracula 3000 has an off-brand feel, partially due to the fact that this is a joint German and South African venture, which are two countries I didn’t see getting into a movie bed together. It’s a crudely made film, loaded with silly zooms, over-the-top characters, Dutch angles, and Casper Van Dien’s scruffy beard doing a lot of heavy lifting."
My Stepmother is an Alien (1988) — I hope you like Jimmy Durante
From our review: "As is often the case in movies that try to cram in a lot of ideas and genres without a firm vision, My Stepmother is an Alien suffers from being a mess. It’s an interesting mess, even an entertaining one, but it never has all four wheels on the rails at any given time."
I collect CDs for my enjoyment, not to impress you — and I hope you have the same attitude!
Do you need a good CD haul to feel that a store trip was worth it?
Sharknado: The 4th Awakens (2016) — Never expect anything good from The Asylum
"While most everyone’s collecting a paycheck with the most minimum of acting effort, the one noticeable exception is Tara Reid. I don’t know what they put in her coffee that week, but she is hyper, intense, and all-in with her performance."
Revisited: 1994’s Clerks
"In our second installment of “Revisited,” we’ll be taking a look at another cult favorite here at Mutant Reviewers — the indie darling Clerks from 1994. Kevin Smith’s low-budget look at New Jersey clerking shook up the industry, but how does it hold up today?"

Got these storage cases to handle all my digipaks—what do you think?
The Substitute 3: Winner Takes All (1999) — Juice it up!
From our review: "And yes, it’s absolutely hilarious to watch this movie get really into the 'steroids make you a hooting weightlifting lunatic' mode. It’s hard to take the football players or the mob that’s funding them seriously as threats when they are constantly acting as if Billy Madison is their acting coach.
Bloodfist (1989) – No, not sport. Fist. Fist!
"OK, I asked at the beginning of the review if you had ever heard of Bloodsport, right? Well, Bloodfist is that flick except on a much smaller budget with considerably less talent on every side of the camera. It does have a paper thin murder mystery in it, but honestly that’s not really enough to make Bloodfist anything other than a third-generation photocopy of JCVD’s breakout flick."
