I don't see this often discussed but I'm intensely curious about what people did with all of that digital music they collected back in the iPod era of the 2000s. Did they completely delete it for streaming and start over? Does it still exist somewhere in a backup state? Or is it still something they actively curate?
I've been working on my curated music collection since 1999, having just crossed 10,000 tracks, and I can't imagine giving this up for an algorithm.
