If you go to Crete, take those remote, less walked trails, and you’ll find amazing forgotten beauty. Monastery Katholiko in Crete.
We hiked the blue line to get to the red circle. At first glance doesn’t look like anything is there. Unless you zoom in. Then scroll to the other pics to see just how amazing it is. Idk how they built such a place in such a hard to build spot over 1000 years ago.
Found a small ruins castle next to a resource cave, think I’m gonna base it up!
Hadn't seen My Siblings in 5 years. So I planned a 3 week RV trip to NZ, told them when to show up an leave, they didn't know where/what we were doing each day. It was the best trip any of us have ever taken.
It was absolutely the most wonderful trip we have taken ever in our lives!
I also made 3, 4-ish minuet cinematic videos of our trip if you want to watch, if you don't, No worries and thank you for your time!

When flying private, and one of your VHF antennas gets struck by lightning in a foreign country before flying oceanic. So you send the one technical crew member replace it overall several days while the rest of the crew hangs out.

Meeting up with your siblings you haven’t seen in 5 years, to take an underground river boat through a cave filled with glow worms. OC

And with no signs that this beautiful spot is only a 3 min walk from the main road. Most people just drive on by not knowing what they just missed.
Just a curiosity question as to what’s out there? I fly from Hawaii to Guam and back for work semi regularly. Work pays the base fair but will attach my mileage number so I get the points, and that ticket isn’t cheap, on average 2k-2.4k for a one way ticket. So I earn a lot of points from those flights. And on average, a points upgrade from my base fair that work paid for to business/polaris is about 20k points, for an 8 hour flight. I feel like it’s a steal since I can make those points after 1 round trip, sometimes 1.5 round trip. So lay it on us, what’s the best deal you’ve seen or experienced?
