I plan on upgrading laptops, from an Asus TUF F15 with a gtx 1650 ti that my father used to own to an Acer Nitro V with an RTX 4050 which he currently owns.

I want to clone my boot drive to it though so I'm wondering if I can boot directly from an external ssd or if there's a series of steps I need to take?

The plan is to clone my current boot drive to an external ssd, boot the new laptop with that ex ssd and clone it to its internal ssd, and then wipe that ex ssd to use it as a regular one.

I could just clone my boot drive to a second internal ssd and transfer that over, that was my original plan and even already cloned it over but my parents don't trust me opening up the "new" laptop.

I've been shooting my recurve for almost a year now. It came with 12 arrows, 3 have broken so far and I'm thinking of getting new ones but I wanna know if these are even the right arrows.

The arrows it came with are 30inch, sp500 with an inner diameter of 6.2mm and an outer diameter of 7.6mm.

All I remember is how it opens, one girl (possibly blonde) opens the door to a suburban house she lives in for her new roommate (dark hair, kinda alt aesthetic), they talk, and the first girl says her voice sounded different over the phone, I think she was expecting someone else maybe.

And at the very end, I just remember the blonde girl in the bathroom, she and the alt girl start talking, then the alt girl goes "oh, baby" then they make out for like, a solid minute, uninterrupted with no cuts, and the camera angle kinda made it look like a security camera footage. Those are the only things I remember.

Nearly every version of the dual action hidden blade I've seen uses the same design so I wonder who came up with it? Oldest I could find was Rawice511 in a video from May 29, 2013 with a similar design but was that based on anything?

Iirc, the events of MGS3 were declassified in the time between MGS2 and 4 but how much info about Big Boss was known to the public before that?

I have an Asus TUF F15 (i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI) from 2020 and for the past few months, the power button has taken a few tries. Sometimes, I get lucky and it works on the first try but most of the time, I need to keep pressing it.

I have a theory.

In Peace Walker (1974), you can recruit Hideo Kojima himself to MSF and he stays loyal to Big Boss, as we rescue him from a mission gone wrong in MGSV: GZ (1975) and recruit him back into Diamond Dogs a decade later in MGSV: TPP (1984).

I'm not sure if it's canon or not but it's believed that the soldiers we fight in Metal Gear 1 (1995) are the same soldiers we recruited in MGSV meaning, if that's true, there is a non-zero chance Solid Snake killed Hideo Kojima.

I'm running an old budget gaming laptop, an Asus TUF F15 with an intel core i5-10300H, Nvidia GTX 1650 TI, and 16gb of RAM.

It runs great on the lowest settings, 65fps on the benchmark with around 50fps 1% lows but stuff like loading in the UI takes a while, a minute or so. Even loading in and out of the pause menu can take a few seconds. If I'm traveling from one area to another, then there are moments where it just stops to load in that new area, not freeze the game but freeze all movement and I can still move the camera around. There are a bunch of other problems but they're all loading related.

I have the game on an HDD, the only other storage I have are two NVME SSD's, a 256gb and 128gb ones, both almost full.

I checked out the bios on my Asus TUF F15 from 2019 to see if I can enable resizable bar, I can't but is there anything else I can change? Like, it says I have 12288mb of RAM but I always see 11.8gb on task manager.

Full transparency, it can run pretty smoothly at the lowest possible settings, but my issue is that it loads. Like, the game stops to load and render the area (I think that's what's happening) and it messes with going in and out of cutscenes. And I don't mean the game freezes, it just stops all movement with a little loading icon in the corner and I can still move the camera while everyone's frozen. Is there any way of fixing this?
