What actually prompted this trend?

Please note I am NOT asking out of any place of disapproval or whatever the fuck, I like it if anything, but I suddenly wondered if something actually happened directly to prompt it

Does anyone else model their playstyle in other games around Hotline Miami

It's probably MAINLY because I've been playing both games since I was like 8 or some shit with 2 being my favorite game of all time and that coupled with me naturally finding every single aspect of both of them in general cool as fuck means they've really really embedded themselves into my brain but I find myself playing EVERYTHING like I'd play Hotline Miami

Like in INSURGENCY SANDSTORM my preferred room clearing method is kick in the front door and full auto my way through every room as fast as I can and one of my favorite moves is replacing my gun with a dead enemy's as I go to skip reloading for instance, in literally any game I'm even half-capable of doing that sort of shit in without always getting killed as a result that's how I'm gonna do it

[COD] Can people here stop framing their opinions on the franchise as objective facts

I've noticed Call of Duty mfs more than any other gaming community LOVE to unironically claim their opinions on Call of Duty and which games in the franchise are good or bad are somehow actually objectively verifiable facts that CANNOT be disputed and it genuinely kills literally all discussion you can have because anyone who's THAT staked into their beliefs will never even consider what someone else has to say

Please stop pretending ya'll mfs are the arbiters of what makes a game good or bad, you're not, it's all entirely subjective

Image of The Narrator I edited to look more psychedelic

Done entirely in PicsArt just in case someone thinks it's AI for some reason lol

Watched this masterpiece with my Dad today [The Last Boyscout]

We were both in the mood for an over-the-top 90s action movie and ended up going with this because it looked like exactly that-I *never* would've guessed I'd end up loving the movie as much as I did, because dear *fuck* did I end up loving this movie end-to-end

It has this really chaotic, almost fever dream-esque tone to it I really gravitate towards especially that takes the general insanity of the movie and accentuates it even further (and it probably makes sense considering the protagonists are a drug addict and an alcoholic)-it makes the whole thing oddly psychedelic for an action flick and I fucking love it

Unironically a 9.5/10 for me, genuinely surprised how much I loved it

Blood Moon (1987) [Fake movie poster]

(Johnathon Smonk is my name on Discord)

I would've included fake credits and things too but I ran out of space lol

The plot in my head is basically this chick's sister gets killed by an insane biker cult so she goes on a huge revenge mission over the course of multiple nights while a detective and a hitman simultaneously try to track her down (meant to feel like an 80s exploitation flick, or a grindhouse movie)

Named after the song Blood Moon by Dance With the Dead: https://open.spotify.com/track/3uy9nktm9MuiMxV7zvyNcs?si=MWXSESo-QoGNzlR6dhX76w&utm\_source=copy-link

By far the dumbest person I've ever spoken to on the internet in general

A lot of his messages got deleted as it went on but you can kinda guess the jist of what he said

Dude was literally point blank denying *reality* to be a transphobe, actual pure fucking insanity
