Recently, I turned 23 and think that I should seriously start looking for that special person in my life. I broke up with my old girlfriend about a year ago and havent really made a serious attempt to find somebody new, for starters I'm kind of stuck on how to do that. But either way, I'm excited to make this post and see where it goes.

I'm currently training to be a history teacher, by July next year I'll be fully qualified. I'm a big history nerd but my true passion in life is probably literature, I love reading, writing and anything to do with books, even just the smell of them.

My favourite books are War and Peace and Lord of The Rings, I mainly read classic books but I'm not an elitist about it lol. I think people should read whatever they like.

Aside from history I also love art, music and museums, I love visiting all the amazing museums, theatres and art galleries that we have in England and I'd love to have somebody who could share that love with me.

Aside from that I'm also a huge nature person, I love hiking camping, fishing, and anything else out in nature. I love forests the most and I could waffle about trees for hours on end if you let me. I feel nature is the one thing that I value in my life more than reading.

I am looking for new friends as recently I have become rather lonely, a lot of previous friends have drifted away from me, I do not have many people in my life with whom I can do stuff and really enjoy my time with. Not a lot of people who have similar interests to me. My work colleagues are far older than me and all they talk about is teaching 😭, so I find them quite boring.

But more than the other two I think my biggest passion and love in life is nature. It's such an amazing thing for me to go outdoors, spend time camping, hiking and seeing nature. I'm also a bit of a heritage sights goer (national trust card anybody?) I am a deep lover of nature and the outdoors, I don't just limit it to the uk but I also go abroad and camp in Scandinavia too a few times a year which is beautiful.

I am an "extroverted introvert" I'd say. With the right person I can be really outgoing and entertaining and with others I get quite bored and quiet.
