Stopped by a local international grocery store today and couldn’t resist picking up a few tins I don’t normally see. Ended up with Moroccan sardines, a sardine tajine, sardines in hot oil, Mediterranean sardines in sunflower oil, and even a tin of mackerel fillets from Seville.

I fucked up.

I started drinking heavily at 22. I’m 38 now. Back in December, I had my liver checked, and the doctors said it was fatty but still relatively healthy. Not anymore. I can barely eat, I’m jaundiced, my stomach is severely swollen, and I know I did this to myself. I fucked up.
