My dad is not the most intelligent and responsible person when it comes to handling money. We’re poor, like lower class. My dad didn’t let my mom work, so wala siyang own money or ipon. I have savings from my scholarship, so my dad would borrow from me kasi minsan wala na kaming panggastos.
Tumigil na ako sa pagpapahiram sa kanya nung umabot na sa 70k utang niya. 4 years ago na to and graduate na ako. I’m currently unemployed so talagang ayoko na magpahiram.
My mom got an inheritance from my lola when she died. It’s not big but enough for her to have an emergency fund (250k). My dad would sometimes borrow from her, but problem ng mom ko ay di na daw siya binabayaran.
The problem is my mom would lie sa dad ko na galing daw sakin yung pera na pinapautang niya. Reason ng mom ko ay para bayaran siya ni papa kasi if sinabi niya na galing sa kanya ay di na siya babayaran. I agreed at first kasi naaawa ako sa mom ko kasi hindi na nga siya pinatrabaho tas inuubusan pa ng pera ng dad ko.
It’s affecting me kasi paano naman yung tunay na utang niya sakin na 70k? Napapatungan na siya ng utang sa mom ko in disguise na sakin daw. Minsan pag nagbabayad si dad, nalilito na ako kung alin yung binabayaran niya kasi walang heads up si mom. Hindi ko na rin ma-track yung totoong balance.
It’s sad na may panggala or travel sana ako after graduation as a gift for myself, but wala. Tambay lang sa bahay for months habang naghihintay mabayaran.
It’s draining me so much. Mom ko yung tipo na sa harap nila ngiti lang and not the confrontational type. Tapos pag sakin, puro rant ng problema.
I tried talking to my mom about it, like maging honest kay dad or stop telling him na galing sakin yung pera, but she just ranted and almost gaslighted me by saying my dad wouldn't pay her if we did that. I get her frustrations, pero paano naman ako?
How do I set boundaries without abandoning my mom? Should I refuse to let her use my name anymore even if it means my dad might stop paying her?

To add pa na nawalan ng 100k si mama kasi inutang ng sister ng dad ko. Imagine umiiyak kami cuz of my lola’s death tas papasok siya nagpapaawa and asking na pautangin siya. Takot daw siya na malaman ng ofw jowa niya na wala ng laman yung bank account nila. We thought show money lang then ibabalik lang but 2 years na pero hindi na binalik yung pera.

Hi! I’m applying for a QA role. I just finished my HR interview with them and they will just inform me if I will move forward to the technical interview. Namention rin ng HR na it’s a hybrid setup, 3x RTO. Medyo konti kasi yung nakikita kong reviews about them and mostly 4 years ago na.

Hi! Monday pumunta yung dad ko sa office ng pldt para magpa disconnect na kasi ang hina talaga ng internet. So lipat na kami sa converge.
Pinabayaran si papa ng remaining balance and sabi sa kanya July 21 daw mawawala na yung connnection but up until now meron pa rin. Also, kakareceive lang namin sa email ng new bill statement due sa Aug 14. Paulit-ulit pa nag-ask papa ko sa officer na wal na talagang babayaran and oo daw.
So idk ano po gagawin dito? Should we pay or follow up sa office? Or ignore and stop paying nalang? Takot rin kasi papa ko na baka mablacklist sa pldt.

2019: overbite and crowded teeth
2021-2022: got my braces in the province. Crowded teeth lang naayos and not the overbite since I had to move to Manila.
2023: new clinic to fix my overbite
June-July 2023: Extraction ng wisdom tooth sa upper jaw. Both left and right.
May 2024: Extracted my premolar sa left side.
2026: Present, i think after 4 months of ligation I can finally graduate na sa braces.
Akala ko during those 4 months, mapupush pa paloob yung front teeth ko. Idk but medyo bothered lang ako na medyo paangat yung dulo ng ngipin sa 12 & 22. Takot lang ako na baka maging sungki siya once natanggal na ang braces ko.
I’ll mention these once I visit the clinic this month. I just need some opinions from other people or baka oa lang ako. What do u think? Ty!
