If a landlord is incarcerated, can they continue renting out the property and earning money from it?

How about other business owners who do minimal work on the daily operations of the businesses?

Help! I accidentally clicked on something to enable "Record my ride". I don't want Uber to record me. How do you turn this off?

Are you supposed to technologically advance as much as possible even if goes completely against your religious beliefs?

For example, things like genetic modification, molecular machinery, brain-computer interfaces, the ability to modify your body to the point where it's unrecognizable, creation of synthetic conscious life, virtual reality where you don't know it's virtual, mind uploading.

Have you ever nullified while on a jury?

Or have you ever voted against what the evidence seemed to support? Stories?

Someone once said that we should genetically engineer human embryos to remove conditions like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. Do you agree?

I'm not a Muslim, but I want to ask Muslims.

Are certain jobs like being a hairdresser, elementary school teacher, or car mechanic supposed to only be for people who don't have much money? If you are already rich, are you supposed to not want to get jobs such as those?

Are you really supposed to only believe things based on reason, not based on tradition, mythology, faith, or your own preference of what to believe?

AFAIK, that was the main message of the European Enlightenment.

Why are people supposed to do this? Why can't people make their own decisions about what to believe?

Are you really supposed to only believe things based on reason, not based on faith/your own choice?

Also, are you supposed to live this way even if it leads to a less satisfying life overall?

People who believe excessive pursuit of pleasure / hedonism is bad, and that we should restrain our desires, why?

Also if you think human enhancement, genetic engineering, and becoming cyborgs are bad, why?

Is it better to need to have some job, which you kind of like doing and which seems somewhat useful, or to have no career and enough money that you don't need to work at all?

If you had a child and a bunch of money, would you rather them need to get a career and support themselves, or not need to?

I haven't really had any close friends in my life, and I cannot understand people. Maybe AvPD tendencies?

(early 20s M) I have had friends who I spent a lot of time around, and did a lot of activities together in our free time, but when I say we weren't necessarily "close" friends I mean we never talked much about our feelings or (imo) personal identity; we talked about political views and interests, etc. But I am continually afraid of judgement. I shy away from especially "politically correct" / "social-justice" oriented people. I have serious difficulties dealing with environments where I don't know what to expect from people in terms of their social/personal/religious/political views. I don't think it's entirely my deficiencies as I think the internet has made the world weird in connecting everyone and letting people whatever niche community with whatever they want, but I definitely have avoidant traits.

If you're used to living in a huge city, can you not be happy anywhere else?

I'm worried that if someone lived in an enormous city where you can get any conceivable type of food or participate in any conceivable type of cultural event within a mile from them, they would not be able to be happy anywhere else where this isn't the case. Is this true?

Do you believe in the concept of penance?

As far as I understand from reading some articles, in the early church, Christians who did certain things that were considered sins would be assigned certain acts to do as penance. They would be held accountable by other members of the church.

In the Catholic and Orthodox churches, it involves absolution by priests, but I've never been to a church like that so I don't have any experience of how it actually works. I believe in some places, the penance is actually something substantial rather than just praying specific prayers?
