How I thought episode 6 was gonna end

I feel like me along with a very large portion of the fanbase thought that, especially with the Star Wars references, it would be revealed that the mind flayer was actually the big bad all long. That vecna/henry had only been allowed to believe he was in charge as that was the only way the mind flayer could make its way to earth after conquering its last planet.

It would’ve been such a crazy reveal, and much more fitting for a series like stranger things. A person being behind the entire story up till now feels small and out of place. Still so disappointed in the overall ending, since I thought the first half of season 5 was actually a very strong opening half of a final season(even though many seemed to think otherwise)

What if there was a giant retard war in the 1860’s

What if in the late 1860’s, Prussia and Austria Hungary invaded Russia to free Poland, meanwhile a Netherlands who just ate Belgium and Luxembourg for some reason joined France to invade Prussia soon after they invaded Russia. The central powers just gobble up and murder the entire Russian army causing them to immediately explode into millions large rebellions, all while France and Prussia death war each other ruining everyone’s populations and nuking russias natural resources and population as well. Germany remains ununified and the global market is turbo nuked. France’s army also genuinely never recovers + they go into insane debt, Russia returns to monkey(USSR), and the UK kinda just watches on the sideline

Would make a great hoi4 mod

Dismantle is busted

I still can’t believe how underrated this feat is here from Yuji. Let’s go over what he did:

  1. The Range. This genuinely wiped out every building in sight and a large part of Shibuya.

  2. Hands. He did this without using his hands or pointing. Pointing dismantle makes it way more powerful(I don’t remember the scan for this), and we can look at a motionless dismantle from Sukuna only cut a small portion of a building(and get blocked by Kusakabe 😭)

  3. Soul Damage. Yuji damages the soul with his most BASIC dismantles now. So that means every one of his attacks will negate regeneration because instead of just attacking the body it’s cutting the soul itself

Yuji the fucking goat, respect him

Would anything have actually changed if Germany achieved all strategic objectives in WW2?

By that I guess I mean capturing a few certain points: The Suez Canal, won the Battle of Britain, seized Leningrad quickly, took Moscow, took Stalingrad(if they actually head south after taking Moscow and Leningrad)

And by anything changing I don’t mean win or loss, but time frame, post war boarders, ect?

The Covenant vs MHA Earth

Time for a little unconventional matchup

Scenario: it’s revealed that earth contains multiple forerunner artifacts, and that quirks are claimed as “blasphemy” by the prophet of truth. Anything other than glassing of the entire planet is unacceptable.

The matchup takes place right before the final war and Shigaraki is at 100%, they will not necessarily be forced to collaborate together unless they actually want to

Victory for MHA is defined by destruction of the fleet

Round 1: a rudimentary covenant invasion fleet:
5 cruisers, a few other older class Sangheli ships/destroyer class

Round 2: The fleet of particular justice:
1 CAS Assault carrier, 12 cruisers, over 50 destroyers

Round 3: High Charity
High Charity, at least 200 carriers, at least 500 carriers. Total ships 1200-2000+

I thought it was over [casual]

I remember reading this live, when I saw Sukuna connect that second black flash I genuinely thought he was gonna win.

I thought he was gonna regain his reverse cursed technique and have the WCS for the remaining time of the fight and just win, also coming off black flashes be way stronger. I also thought he was gonna get his domain too, and that gege was actually gonna write a Sukuna victory endgame.

Shinjuku showdown was so awesome to read, even more so than the Gojo Sukuna fight. I still don’t like the placement of the Takaba fight, even though it was very good too

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

I always thought a cool alt history mod would’ve been over the original MW -> MW3 storyline, with a reformed Soviet Union, Americans getting nuked in the Middle East, a super buffed Russia that is capable of an invasion of the east coast then a subsequent invasion of all of Europe, and of course terrorist attacks. I think it would be a cool mod, but I’m also not a coder lol

What would’ve happened

This was by far the peak of the Jurassic world trilogy, but while I do like the ending and how the mosasaur kills the Indominus, I do gotta wonder what would’ve happened had the Mosasaur not stepped in and killed the Indom?

While the Indominus was by far outclassing Rexy in pretty much every regard, when blue showed up Rexy starts beating the hell outta her, and she had taken some pretty deep stabs when she got thrown into that building. I don’t think it’s gonna be as simple as Indom wins easily especially with the big amount of damage she had just taken

I miss the unrealistic plot/story [MW2]

I was born right before the time the original MW2 came so I never got to experience it when it first dropped but I have played it’s campaign(and spec ops to completion) as well as COD:MW and the original MW3. And quite frankly I found the campaigns to be awesome and perfect(MW2 >/= MW3 > MW)

I really don’t think there were many misses in the original storyline, though I do feel like the Loyalists were kind of wasted, but besides that: perfect antagonists, great sad and emotional scenes, multiple iconic moments, great side characters form price to Ghost to Foley to Sandman, great main characters, great settings from Paris to deep in Siberia, and an awesome yet unrealistic storyline.

But the remastered storyline has pretty much none of these. General Shepherd is not a great villain, his betrayal was seen coming a mile away, and even then it wasn’t good at all. The original betrayal killing roach and Ghost was heartbreaking, Graves as far as I remember didn’t even kill anyone. And same with Soaps death, in the original storyline we grew very close to Soap, and he had a deep father son esc relationship with Price and it was heartbreaking to see price have to witness him die right in front of him. In the remake we have none of that.

And I think this all stems back to the fact the storyline is so damn realistic and unimaginative/unique. In the original storyline we’re talking about a Russian civil war and world war 3, nuclear bombs being used to kill thousands of US soldiers overseas, an invasion of the United States homeland with fighting literally in the White House. But in the reboot series, I apologize if I sound offensive here, the entire storyline is whether or not Russia can take over a patch of land the size of the fucking Benelux, and shady US actions in the Middle East, and the massive moment that was supposed to mimic the nuke going off in MW 2007… was an airport being blown up. The scope is infinitely smaller and that’s boring to me. Black ops was the small scope historical call of duty that focused on small individual regions of earth, modern warfare was the crazy imaginative story that went all over the globe.

Not to mention we have the actual characters from the original have their entire plots being wrapped up and made canon in fucking warzone. Zakhaev and his son? Story wrapped up in warzone. I’m sure there’s more but the story has been so forgettable I really can’t remember.

I personally think comparatively the original storyline was a masterpiece compared to what we have gotten. And with Shephered dead(in a fucking post credit scene btw) and soap also dead, there’s practically nothing else to do. Maybe they’re trying to make Graves the new Shepherd equivalent, but the story is too far gone for me to really care atp

The three schools of thought for speed

There are three main types of speed scales for mha scalers overall, a valid question being which of them is the most accurate to the series.

Option A: Hypersonic and below.
This one is the easiest to understand. Essentially Hori himself came out and said the fastest that all might ever traveled at was Mach 10, that would then mean everyone else would be slower, significantly so(minus Bakugo). This does make sense, Tenya reaching transonic speeds was seen as incredibly impressive, when Deku punched Shigaraki into the air and broke the sound barrier, this surprised Mirio was shocked. And of course normal bullets are viable against most heroes. All might being Mach 10 in travel speed would also limit all for ones travel speed with those ring things, and indirectly limit Bakugo. Anything above is an outlier and inconsistent with the established narrative

Option B: Massively Hypersonic, possibly sub relativistic
There are 3 feats that can be used to create this meta. Firstly is Lady Nagants bullet traveling 200 kilometers before Shigaraki can slam his hand onto the ground, this is sub relativistic, and is consistent with another of her bullet feats. Deku has also demonstrated while focused to be able to outspeed it. While Deku is fastest in movement speed, All for One and Shigaraki should have perceptions at that level. Then we have Bakugo crossing a large distance while everything was in standstill, and lastly overclock being fast. And naturally through vibes alone, Deku should be faster than lightning. This is the peak, as the laser feats used to upscale the verse are shaky, and the lasers themselves don’t obey normal physics, meaning to assume they’re light speed are nonsense

Option C: Faster than light
Very simple, Star and Stripe can catch a laser beam, lasers of course being the speed of light. This is semi consistent as all might in his iron suit can dodge an orbital laser that mimics Aoyamas laser. This then would indirectly back up Aoyama being LS, due to the mimic laser being light speed, and his light being redirected by Hagakure. Essentially, most the verse is above the speed of light

No Supernatural intervention

Let’s take a step back and assume that the patient zero really was the one we saw in the UK, and instead of random pop ups around the globe all at once, patient zero is literally patient zero.

Scenario 1: Would there still have been the global destruction that came after C-Day? Or would they have been stopped on the British Isles?

Scenario 2: And for shits sake if it’s agreed they’re easily stopped on the island, let’s also ask what if they popped up in Central Europe?

Help me out here

While I think the og bo2 - bo4 story makes sense for the most part, what I need help with is the ending.

So the whole goal was to cast the entire multiverse into the dark aether, and this would stop Dr Monty I guess. But how does that stop the shadowman and the Apothicons? Didn’t Monty literally do exactly that and it failed? Doesn’t that mean the Apothicons should very much be in Cold War - BO7(they kinda are with the abomination)

I never truly understood how casting everything into the dark aether really is a “victory”. But maybe we were supposed to learn that in the second season pass of BO4.

I understand why people don’t want them to return, but it seems kinda like a plot hole as to why they shouldn’t(and likely won’t)

How does he do it

By all god damn means, he should have bad footwork, he has mediocre shoots, and sometimes he just be throwing the most wild of fucking punches, but he’s a champ with two damn title defenses, and beat one of the most technical and skilled strikers(Izzy) we’ve ever seen. It’s literally just “random bullshit go!” 😭😭😭

If he regains belt he actually is just the main character

Love Gaethje, however

He’s been a real prick ever since he won at 250, it’s absolutely insane to call Topuria a quitter after he straight up ignored the doctors stoppage to try and fight another round.

Like if we want to call him a quitter, then so is he for tapping against Charles. I mean as a fighter you don’t tap, you go out? Just like Khabib said right. Just didn’t seem like there was enough beef to go on a shit talking tour about him 😭

Need Charles to take belt to his ass again and humble him, or Max to whoop him for another 5 straight. Idk, I think he doesn’t want the rematch cuz he knows Topuria won’t fuck around again, or maybe he really doesn’t think he deserve the rematch, idk
