Supergirl by the late, great, Michael Turner.
Turner is my favorite comic book artist. He also drew my favorite version of Supergirl. It's truly a shame he died so young.
R.I.P. to a legend.

I'll go first.
Conner's T-shirt and Jeans,
And Kara's 2000s crop top and blue skirt.
Michael Turner is my favorite comic book artist, especially when he drew Kara. His Supergirl is my favorite depiction of her. It's a shame he died so young. So many people in life considered him a great and kind person.
I re posted it, cause the quality was poor.
This game was my first MK game, and I can honestly say....
I love it. I had a damn good time!
The Story: as someone who did not grow up with the series, playing through the game was a great introduction to the MK world, as well as playing through the story of the OG games. Seeing Raiden's desperate attempts to change history and prevent Armageddon, only for things to change drastically, was sad for me to see. (Kudos to Raidens voice actor BTW. The other actors did good too, but Raidens was a highlight for me.
The characters: The characters were also very interesting. They all had distinctive personalities from each other, and their designs were, in my opinion, very appealing to look at. The designs look like something out of a comic book. My favorite characters were Johnny, Stryker, Kuai Liang Subzero, and Sonya.
Johnny's a cocky, immature movie star, but when push comes to shove, he's still a good person. Kuai Liang's story is probably my favorite. Going from a human ninja, to being turned into a cyborg, but later regaining his humanity was very nice to see. Sonya's a badass special forces soldier, who is seemingly tough, and no nonsense, but has a soft side to her, and Stryker is your average Police Officer caught in chaos, and I really like that! I like a character who is an average, everyday person, that gets caught up in wild, fantastical adventures. His arcade ending is also my favorite. (Also the funniest, because he refuses to let Johnny play as him in a movie. Lol.)
Gameplay: I'll be honest, I never played fighting games much before, so it was a bit difficult for me to adjust, but I managed to get used to it. It was a lot of fun playing through the story, and Ladders. Some fights were really irritating though, like fighting Scorpion and Quan Chi. Fighting Shao Kahn was painful as well, but I made up a good strategy to fight him. Stay away from him, wait till he taunts, and then beat the crap out of him.
My mains are Sonya, Johnny, Sub-Zero, and Kung Lao. They were a lot of fun to play as.
Final thoughts: Overall, I had a great time with MK9. I loved it's story, I loved it's characters, and I loved the gameplay. I'm definitley looking forward to playing MKx and 11.
My Rating: Story: 8/10, Characters, 9/10, and Gameplay: 8/10.
If you're still reading, thanks for looking at my review and have a great day. Babality!
Conner Kent
Cassie Sandsmark.
I just love when superheroes wear regular clothing instead of the usual colorful tights superheroes are known for.

And are then caught by Johnathan and Martha. 😆
I really liked Conner and Cassie as a couple. Johns run made me fall in love with them. 🥰
Chief Gant or Chief Irons?
It can be about a movie, the TV show, or the comics.
Ill go first.
Michael Turner was, in my opinion, the best artist for Kara.
I recently beat re5, (currently playing 6,) and I just have to ask, why are fans more forgiving to 5 than 6?
Common criticisms of 6 is how it abandoned the horror tone in favor of a more action oriented tone, and for being really over the top, but doesn't that also apply to 5? 5 also doesn't really have a horror feel to it, it's much more action oriented, and it's story is also extremely over the top.
Like why? Is it because 5 still had 4's gameplay? Is it because of the boulder punch? Is it because 5 had Jill and 6 didn't? Like, i just don't get it.
A very controversial topic for readers is how Johns characterized Tim, Conner, Cassie, and Bart. While some believe that their characterization was natural, others believe that Johns ruined how they were portrayed in David's Young Justice.

Personally, as someone that never read YJ, I really liked their personalities in TT. With Tim struggling with being Robin, and afraid he might never get out of the hero life, Conner wrestling with the fact that he's half Clark, half Luthor, Cassie struggling with being bullied at school for having powers, and being considered "not normal", and Bart's insecurities about people, even Wally, doubting him for being immature.

I felt that was very compelling to read. But that's just me. What do you think?

A little fancast I did for fun. Thought I'd share it with you guys.
