I'm unsure as to whether this qualifies or not. I don't know a whole lot about this. Thanks for your time and comments.

Forgive me if this has been posted already...

But I scrolled through 12 days worth of posts and saw nothing. I just saw this for the first time, and I think it's a great commercial and I wanted to share.

Edit: I just want to thank everyone for the kind words, positive energy and ALL THOSE UPVOTES! I've never seen so many in my life! This community is the best!

Here is on article on it: Lego officially unveils 'The Lord of the Rings' Minas Tirith toy set

And a link to the Lego site for a better look: https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/lord-of-the-rings

Thanks again!

Have you ever tried a store brand that was as good, or better than the leading brand?

I tried the cola from the A&P brand, (R.I.P.) America's Choice, and it could've given Coke and Pepsi a run for their money, although it was closer to Pepsi because of its sweetness. It is widley believed to have been made by Cott Beverages, one of the largest private‑label soda manufacturers in North America.

Have you ever ordered cereal from another country because it wasn't available in yours?

I'm looking to order some at a reasonable price. But they either don't have it, don't ship it, or charge a fortune.

Any advice?

A question about The Last Crusade for Word War II history buffs.

Let's say Spielberg wanted to make the franchise take place in real time like some franchises do. That means since Crusade came out 8 years after Raiders, Crusade would take place in 1944 instead of 1938. Is there any historical reason it wouldn't have been able to take place in 1944?

Thanks for reading.

Edit. Thanks for all the great and detailed answers. I knew I could count on you.

I just discovered this picture, and I was trying to figure out exactly where it was. It's west of route 17, not east, because GWB is in the same direction. It's also on the south side of route 4, which puts it right where Garden State Plaza is now.

I searched when GSP opened and it said May 1, 1957. Before that it was a drive-in that opened in the early 30s and closed in the mid-50s.

Does anyone have any memories of this?

I've seen this artwork all my life and it's some of my favorite, but I have no idea who the artist is and what it was originally made for. I have a feeling most of you know the answer. Thanks.

No anniversary celebrations, no special editions, nothing. We all know Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Lion King get all the attention, but what if you're a Rescuers fan? Black Cauldron? Robin Hood? Fox and the Hound? Meet The Robinsons? Good luck.

My choice is pictured above. The rights expired a while ago and Disney seems to have no intention of renewing. This is why they stick to originals and public domain.

What do you wish would get a bit more respect?

Every Australian I've ever spoken to talks about Tim Tam cookies as the be-all and end-all of Australian snacks. It got me wondering as to whether there's anything like that in the United States that we can all agree is absolutely heaven sent.

Oreos? McDonald's fries? Snickers? I'm at a loss here.

The last time I posted here I got a response on a practically unknown made for cable movie I saw in 1986. Incredible work by the person who figured it out, So I'm trying again.

In the early to mid 90s, I saw a movie on network in the middle of the night about an elderly man who owned a clothing store. His grandson is sent to him for the summer to keep the kid out of trouble and to work at the store.

The kid winds up getting into trouble anyway and the big finale take place in the forest, possibly involving train tracks and an oncoming train. The grandfather tries to rescue his grandson and I'm pretty sure they escape unharmed.

Any idea?

I haven't watched it yet, I just thought I'd drop the link. For those who don't know, Rosenbaum played Lex Luthor on Smallville and now has a podcast style interview show.

The title is "GENE SIMMONS: Regret Over Ace, Sweat Equity in Hollywood & Why Every Day Above Ground Is a Gift"
