Whaaat?
San Diego Comicon Exclusive.
Official Product Description Teaser
In the new Masters of the Universe movie, Skeletor doesn’t just fight He-Man in the physical world. He brings the battle directly into Prince Adam’s mind! In celebration of the movie and inspired by the fun of San Diego Comic-Con, we’ve recreated the “gym bro” appearance Skeletor takes on during this dastardly mind-meld attack. By the power of those abs, Skeletor can lift the stacked barbell or dumbbells with ease. The weights feature premium metal accents, and we’ve also included his customized gym towel, so he can wipe down the machines after he wipes the floor with He-Man. Nyaah!
Gym Bro Skeletor is an absolute riot of a concept. He’s decked out in a purple sleeveless hoodie with matching shorts, tube socks, and lace-up sneakers, all over that classic blue skin, and he comes equipped with a pair of dumbbells featuring sculpted weight plates with metal-finish center caps.
The window box packaging leans hard into ’80s fitness culture, with radiating pink, orange, and yellow sunburst lines framing the card art of Skeletor mid-deadlift behind the display window. Accessories including a barbell with stacked plates, a small gym towel, and a pair of sneakers are packed alongside the figure inside the tray.
The full packaging spread shows all three sides of the box, with the side panels carrying a continuation of the sunburst card art and an illustration of Skeletor gripping a loaded barbell. As an SDCC 2026 exclusive, this is the kind of novelty concept that Comic-Con reveals are made for.
The box front features illustrated card art of Skeletor curling a loaded barbell in a purple hoodie, framed by radiating pink, blue, and orange sunburst lines that fill the entire face of the packaging. This SDCC 2026 exclusive reveal for the MOTU Chronicles line commits fully to the bit with retro ’80s fitness branding and a stylized neon-accented treatment of the character’s name beneath the artwork.
Courtney Cox & Robert Duncan McNeill
Has anyone else heard this idea going around, saying that their cameo should have been as the parents who raised Adam on Earth. It's too late now, but if they actually do make the sequel, they can appear in a flashback. It would fill that hole in the story people keep asking about.
The other idea I've heard is Lundgren's cameo being King Grayskull during the beginning of the history of Eternia, instead of just a gym guy. They could do that too, but it would make less sense now. Unless they say that the gym guy was the spirit of King Grayskull coming back to guide Adam on his "good journey." 😂
What are your thoughts on this?
Things are dire over at the Wendy's sub. I'm glad I'm a Burger King fan.
Either can't handle being hit on or realizes it's a trap or prank.
Cita can mean either date or appointment. So, the pick-up line is, "Are you a doctor? Because I'd like to make a date/appointment."
And hey, if he suspected prank, he was right, it was for content.
Judging by some of the posts I've seen here, I thought a lot of you would appreciate this.
Just wanted to mention this isn't mine, I found it online and posted it here.
Enjoy the weekend!
Is there a place to buy replacement weapons besides eBay and Etsy?
It would be nice if you could buy pieces directly from Mattel and not have to pay almost as much as just rebuying the figure on eBay.
Has there ever been an official, full size, metal Mattel version of the sword?
When I look online, the metal ones are small, and the full-size ones are foam.
There's a full-size movie version coming out for about $1900. But I'm looking for the version the original figure came with.
All I can find are unofficial Etsy ones.
Any MOTU historians know?
Does anyone eat these regularly?
I'm asking because I purchased the new Strawberry Lucky Charms and when I poured the milk on, the strawberry washed right off. I thought they were strawberry inside and out.
I was going to try the chocolate next, but not if it's just chocolate covered.
Am I wrong about this sleeved look taking off in the late 80s, early 90s?
Someone in the LOTR sub said it was surprising that the cast and crew got tattoos together because "Tattoos were a lot less common back in 2000." Tattoos became mainstream in the 90s because of this guy ^ and other rockers, and a lot of fans copying him. Right? Am I nuts?
Would you have preferred it if Teela got her own spinoff instead of Mattel creating She-Ra?
Mattel wanted a female He-Man for the girls who watched, but they had one right there.
In the United States we got Denny's meals for Masters of the Universe. Did any countries get anything cooler?
I wish Burger King had done something 80s for this, like their Return of the Jedi glasses.
Was IPIC Fort Lee saved in the eleventh hour, or what?
It was supposed to be gone by the end of May, but it's still open and selling tickets well into June.
Is the series streaming anywhere?
Whether it's free or by subscription, I don't care. I can't seem to find any info on it.
Xena as well. Thank you.
Just found this and was curious about your opinions on this.
I'm unsure as to whether this qualifies or not. I don't know a whole lot about this. Thanks for your time and comments.
Remember this guy?
All throughout high school, every day, several times a day, this commercial would play.
Forgive me if this has been posted already...
But I scrolled through 12 days worth of posts and saw nothing. I just saw this for the first time, and I think it's a great commercial and I wanted to share.
Edit: I just want to thank everyone for the kind words, positive energy and ALL THOSE UPVOTES! I've never seen so many in my life! This community is the best!
