I usually don't care for salad since it's mundane to me and not fufiling but this salad was delicious. I got it from the food pantry.

Its a mix of cabbage, carrots, and lettuce and has bacon bits, sunflower seeds, and sweet onion dressing. I never eat salad but typically I noticed that people have ranch or cheese on it and this salad happens to be without dairy.

The only thing I critique is that I wish I could drowned it more in sauce and have more bacon bits and sunflower seeds in it.

When I'm shopping at Meijer I'm always looking for dairy free items to satisfy my sweet tooth. Quaker used to be my go to as a child but I don't purchase it anymore due to my sinus/digestion issues.

I'm gonna eat this tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what I think of it subsequently. Sorry the ingredients are blurry but it does not contain dairy. I make sure of it when I look at the ingredients on doordash. Has anyone tried this ?

The dairy free snacks that I received from the food pantry . Sry my phone quality is bad

Drizzilicious s'mores. Yum! I don't even eat s'mores but this s'mores flavorerd snack is absolutely delicious. It's hard to find chocolatey snacks being dairy free so this was a good pick they chose for me. It has the texture of a rice cake and the right amount of sweetness from the drizzle

Can't go wrong with Vienna and applesauce which is automatically without dairy

Thought you all might enjoy this. :) my mom and I score a BOGO for the bar burger at Sexton's Burger bar on doordash in Gahanna, OH

We specifically ask for no cheese though and this is the second time that they didn't accommodate that. :/ cheese is food but not when you're trying to abide by a dairy free diet due to sinus issues and constipation. Tmi I know. At least it's not a lethal issue.

Rate my eggs pt 6 you can search my other eggs if you search "rate my eggs" it's out of order a bit since I deleted a couple of the most complained one due to it being blurry

definitely need to invest in a big mixing bowl so that my the whites mix into the yolks bc I whisk it but it was a lot of eggs in a melamine bowl

Can I get an explanation as to why dairy products are considered being abusive to animals?

I'm not a vegan but I try to refrain from dairy products, but I do respect other peoples lifestyles. I was just confused on how it's harmful to utilize milk from any animal if they're not being m*rdered for the production of it and they might overproduce milk and wouldn't it be going to waste. It's just like how when (human) moms have a newborn and they are lactating a lot and they already fed their baby enough milk, and I have searched up recipes for pancakes the other day and someone recommend using breastmilk.

I wanted to make a follow up question with the comment from my post lol. But I was wondering if you incorporate a vegan diet to your kid's diet as well or if you allow them to have animal products in your home?

what's the pov of a vegan's reason to refrain from eating eggs if the egg is unhatched fetus that wasn't slaughtered in order for humans to utilize or wasnt separated from their mother like how calves are taken from their moms and their milk is being stolen from them ?

Just a non vegan being curious. I'm used to eating animal products because that's all I grew up on.

Does anyone have any stovetop recipes for dairy free Mac and cheese that doesn't require a food processor or blender?

I'm low income and even though I specify no milk products for the food pantry I still receive several items, I'm still grateful to have the option to have that service but I need to refrain from dairy and I have two different mac and cheese boxes that I want to utilize, but I wouldn't use the cheese mix or add in milk, I'd just use the macaroni in the box and use a carton of plant based milk. I'd prefer to have shredded vegan cheese in the recipe, but I'm open to ideas. I have one recipe in mind. Hopefully it tastes good when I purchase the items I need in a month or so

has anyone tried this brand of yogurt? I used to get it all the time last summer and fall but they stopped selling it at meijer for some reason

It's almost like greek yogurt and it's cultured which has probiotics for the gut. They still have a supply of the dairy version but I obviously want the non dairy one
