Weekly look at what moved in Riftbound singles and sealed. Prices are TCGplayer market prices for near mint cards, compared with the same day last week. Cards under $5 are left out so a few cents of movement doesn't top the list.

The big story: Origins Seals. Seal of Rage nearly tripled this week, and four other Origins Seals went up 18 to 30%. Rage climbed a little every day instead of jumping on one sale, and the cheapest listing ($30) is right around the market price, so this looks like real buying, not one weird sale.

II got tired of digging through forum threads every time I needed to date a pair, so I built a serial number decoder for every format Klipsch used through 2000: the letter codes (A=1962 through Y=1983), the 84-89 year/week digits, the weird 1990-97 format where the year digits are reversed, the 98-00 year/week style, and the plain sequential serials before 1962 (which it will tell you honestly can only be dated to a range, since the exact years live in the engineering log book).

The rules come straight from the date-code tables on the official Klipsch community forum (the Klipsch Date Codes thread in General Klipsch Info), and I checked them against that thread directly rather than the versions floating around elsewhere. It also catches the classic misread: if you type a serial that's all digits and it doesn't decode, it'll suggest checking whether an S got stamped like an 8 or an O like a 0, which is how half the "my serial makes no sense" threads here end. The full letter table is printed on the page if you'd rather look it up by hand, plus the driver date-stamp trick (YYWW) for cross-checking a cabinet date.

It's free, no signup. If you have a pair with a documented build date, I'd still love a sanity check: run the serial through and tell me if it matches. And if you hit a serial it can't handle, paste it and I'll add the format.

Seriously tired of the "just check current listings" advice being a manual process every single time. So I built stereoworth.com to do it automatically.

It tracks live eBay prices daily for 714 models across Marantz, Sansui, Pioneer, Kenwood, McIntosh, Nakamichi, Technics, Yamaha, and more. Each model shows you median price, low to high range, and how many units are listed right now so you know how liquid a piece actually is before you commit.

It also splits listings into three bands automatically: restored/recapped units, working unrestored, and parts units. So you're not comparing a fully recapped Marantz against a "powers on, sounds funny" listing and wondering why the spread is so wide.

Some stuff I've noticed digging through the data:

• The big Pioneer receivers just keep going up. Kept waiting for the SX-1250 and SX-1980 to plateau.
• Condition spread on a Marantz 2270 is genuinely shocking. Restored vs unrestored is a completely different market.
• Nakamichi Dragon supply has been thin lately. Not many units moving at any price.

🔧 Major Bug Fixes

We did a full infrastructure migration this week and caught several bugs that were silently breaking core features. These are now fixed:

• Accepting offers was failing for some users
• Trade chat messages weren't sending
• Creating listings and build registry entries was broken in certain cases
• Notifications weren't always coming through

We built a full automated stress test that simulates two users going through a complete trade — from listing creation, to offer, to accept, to chat, to both-sides confirmation — to verify everything works end to end before pushing live.

📸 Builder Profile Photos

Builders on the Find a Builder page (adoptmehousetrading.com/commissions) can now upload a custom profile photo.

The site used to pull Roblox avatar thumbnails but those expire after 30 days, which is why most builder cards were showing a placeholder. This fixes it permanently.

A note on how values work here vs other sites

Most Adopt Me value sites use an editorial team that decides values. We don't — values here come directly from real trades that both the buyer and seller confirmed independently on the site. It means values start thin and grow over time rather than appearing fully-formed from day one. We think that's more honest, but it only works if people actually use the site and confirm their trades.
