Christian bands with the style of Frozen Soul and Cannibal Corpse

I just got into Christian metal and was looking for some help in replacing my secular taste for Christian.

Galatians 4:4–5 — The “Fullness of Time” from a Historical View

Have you ever thought about why Jesus came into the world when He did and not sooner or later?
Galatians 4:4-5 says Christ came in the "fullness of time," and I don't think that only refers to prophecy being fulfilled. It also seems like history itself had been prepared in a way that made the spread of the gospel possible.

By the time Jesus came, we see that writing and copying had developed enough for His words and works to be preserved. Greek had become a common language which meant the message could travel across cultures more easily.

In the time of Jesus' birth Rome had also brought a temporary peace, a vast road system, and a level of order that made travel and communication easier than many periods before it. Even things like the development of postal systems and the increasing connectedness of the ancient world matter here.
So when Paul says Christ came in the "fullness of time," it may not only point to God's redemptive plan spiritually, but also to the exact historical moment God had prepared for the gospel to go out into the world.

Devotional Gut Punch

Every believer needs the Word to knock them back a peg daily — a humbling reminder that what we've received from God is nothing less than mercy. The righteous Judge was under no obligation to show mercy to any of us... but He chose to anyway. Just listen to Jacob's desperate cry in Genesis 32:10-12.

"I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that you have shown to your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. Please deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him, that he may come and attack me, the mothers with the children. But you said, 'I will surely do you good, and make your offspring as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude."

This is why I LOVE Christian Metal!! So brutal and so raw!

There is violence in the house of God!
From the shepherds who are called To the flock!

What will Christ do when you rape his sheep When He shows everyone the lies you keep?

The wrath of God In the jaws of Hell
Best life now because it won't end well
You were supposed to show us Christ

Blood money in the walls you hide
Sell a fake Heaven to those in Hell
Counterfeit Christ, you can't save yourself
You won't have wealth when there's nothing left
You won't flee the hands of death

Song: Preacher III

Paul can’t be a false teacher unless you want to throw the whole NT out.

If Paul is a false teacher then his entire ministry is false. But what people forget is his entire ministry is outlined in the book of Acts and who wrote Acts? Uh-oh Luke.

So if Paul is a false teacher, then that has to mean Luke endorsed a false teacher and then put Paul in authority over the church and called him a teacher of THE WAY.

Acts 9:15 - Jesus Himself said about Paul, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

Acts 22:14-15 — Ananias told Paul,

"The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth; for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard."

So if Luke was wrong then Luke's credibility is destroyed which means now the Gospel of Luke is in question. But wait there’s more! Peter himself also affirmed Paul's writings as Scripture.

2 Peter 3:15-16 "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.”

We see that Peter called Paul's letters Scripture. So if Paul is a false teacher, then now Peter is also wrong which then undermines 1 and 2 Peter.

So you see you can't reject Paul without rejecting Luke. You can't reject Luke without undermining one of the four Gospels and you can't reject Paul without rejecting Peter. If you remain in this camp you have to accept dismantling the entire NT which then destroys Christianity.

So no, Paul wasn't a false teacher. We see he was an apostle who was chosen and commissioned by Jesus Himself, endorsed by Luke, and affirmed by Peter. Which has to then makes his letters Scripture just like the Gospels.

Update: threw it away going to get wood made for this hobby instead of wood from the mill.
