Like, did he have a significant impact on Shinra after his last stand? I've kind of been thinking that the reason why Shinra seems to be exhausted of resources during the events of Final Fantasy VII, to the point of having to go all the way to Rocket Town to commandeer an airplane, is because Zack single handedly dismantled most of their force outside Midgar.
Clocked it RIGHT away. Finally got around to actually start this expansion, and as soon as I finished the Sunwell scenario it became obvious.
She's an agent of Light. The Light grows stronger with faith and conviction. She's leading the forces of the Void, which are normally a mindless hungering force, in such a way that provokes fear and desperation. As soon as I saw all of Turalyon's tactics and might fail while desperate prayers at the Sunwell succeeded, I knew it had to be intentional on her part. It's a message. Punish resistance and struggle, reward surrender to fate.
It's why she baited and destroyed Dalaran in The War Within. They were the go-to defenders of Azeroth before, but they were a force of logic and reason, a neutral organization that works with the arcane and order. They needed to be out of the picture so only the forces of Light could stop her. I think she's even the one who turned the new Arathi into zealots on purpose for this very reason.
I think that's what they are hinting at with all the 'light and void are two sides of the same coin' theming we've been getting lately. The Light and the Void are the same force, the stick and the carrot. The void threatens, the light saves and grows on that faith.
There's also the chance that she isn't so antagonistic about it and is just leading the void on a doomed mission on purpose. She might not serve the light directly, but wants the void to lose. So instead of launching a surprise full force invasion, she holds the void back while manipulating key figures to be in prime position to stop her. Organizing losing battles and pyrrhic victories while poking and prodding the 'enemy' to keep them mad and fighting. Even her actual victories over us are just to keep the Void under her control so they follow her to their eventual defeat. Kind of like Ceasar from Fallout: New Vegas. He wants to be an enemy to be defeated to change the world for what they feel is 'the better'.
This is something I've always sort of assumed but never really thought about, and I can't find solid information on the wiki. Like, for example, if I have 100 Energy Weapons skill and 10 Perception, will equipping a piece of armor with +10 Energy Weapons or +2 Perception actually increase my damage, or am I better off just getting something with higher DT?
The recipes cost more than the default ones. What's the point? Shouldn't it be cheaper?
For the matter, what is the point of reloading ammunition in the first place if I still need specific primers that don't get recycled? With energy weapons it's amazing, recycle old ammo, convert other ammo, make special more efficient ammo, but breaking down traditional ammunition is kind of useless. I need shotgun primers and the only way to get them is breaking down...shotgun shells. What am I missing here?
Imagine you are playing Elder Scrolls IV back in the day. You love it, but you are speculating what the next game will be. You think they are going to have a story in Skyrim. What would draw you to this conclusion?

Im trying to think of, now that we have hindsight, what exactly they set up between the games so we might predict what comes next by looking for similar hints in Skyrim.
So, the One Ring fulfills the desire of the wielder, granting them power and mastery such that Sauron himself has. A crafter deity himself, would a jewler or blacksmith become his rival should they possess his Ring? I know the Ring imparts a desire to protect it, treasure it, but if a great smith creates a new ring better than the original, might that desire be overcome since it no longer holds any promise of power compared the upgrade? '
All of this assuming no direct intervention of Sauron, of course. Lets just say it wasn't Smeagol but a great dwarf or human smith who found it while Sauron was recovering.
Long story short, I started from 867 Genoa and worked my way up to becoming King of Aquitane in only a few generations. Had a wonderful kingdom going until the King of France decided to blitz me, destroy my crown, and form the Empire of Francia.

I want this empire gone. Destroyed. To dust. But, I struggle. I cant gather up vassals, the empire is huge and I cant make a duchy to rival his empire for a fair rebellion. I cant found another kingdom and gobble up his vassals, since his vassals are also under his kingdom title. Is my only choice to create and expand a new kingdom that can wage an epic civil war against him on a kingdom level? Or do I wait patiently for a poor succession? Ive never really tried to form a faction before, I cant seem to get others to join me. What skills would I need to teach my successors so they might one day avenge the theft of their land?

Ive tried a ton of things, but this empire keeps getting stronger over the generations while my family keeps splintering into cadet branches.
This is a little specific so let me explain. I love the idea of having an open world game that features a big, super important, landmark to go to. Ideally at any time, as long as you work toward it. And if there was some sort of mystery to what it is and why it's important, that would be perfect. Let me list some examples of what I'm talking about.
Elden Ring. There's the Erdtree. It's always there, no one ever shuts up about it, and getting there feels majestic.
Breath of the Wild. Hyrule Castle. It's your end goal and ground zero of all the terrible things around, and guarded by terrifying piano robots.
Fallout: New Vegas. There's two, actually. New Vegas itself and Hoover Dam. Standing at New Vegas feels like being at the center of the world, and everyone talks about how important Hoover Dam is, everything builds up to that.
Conan Exiles. The Forgotten City. It's a huge chunk of the map, but incredibly hostile and barren. It's also super important, the capital of the civilization that became the Exiled Lands. It's incredibly ominous and majestic in its ruin.
Runescape. The Wilderness. Even outside of the reputation the players have given it, it's always an ominious feeling going north. The ditch they added that separated it never really took away that feeling that every step closer was a little more dangerous than the last.
Fallout 4. The Crater of Atom. After spending hours and hours in the wasteland, walking ground zero of the bomb that started it all in the opening scene gives such a sense of solemn awe.
Basically, I love, LOVE that feeling of finally being able to stand in a place and say, "This is it. I'm here, where everything started/ended. The holy/cursed ground. The place everyone is talking about that I can see from nearly every corner of the map but no one ever goes to. I can learn everything if I just walk that way."
Rules:
Must be human. No weird monster/mutant/cyborg anatomy that might interfere with pressure points.
No regeneration. If their head explodes and they can put it back together that doesn't count.
No super durability, shields, or intangibility. They actually need to have their pressure points struck.
I was playing Fallout New Vegas and was really enjoying myself. Had a crit build with a gatling laser and was watching enemies explode into dust with a quick burst from a mile away. Then it kind of hit me: THIS is what these heavy machine weapons are for. But in almost all the shooters I've played, the heavy weapons are meant for heavy armored slow characters who wander straight into battle, acting as living tanks. That's not right! A machine gun fills the role they usually give to sniper rifles, medium to long range combat. They fire high caliber rounds, sometimes even the exact same bullet, but instead of worrying about accuracy they have a high fire rate.
So I ask, are there any shooters where the heavy weapons actually feel good to use from a distance? No dramatic reduction at range, no piss-poor damage that causes every single fight to cost hundreds of rounds, just something where I can find a good vantage point and make things explode with a minigun or LMG that actually FEELS like it's firing something bigger than a pistol round?

Imagine you've just walked out of Helgen. You decide you want a full set of Daedric Armor. Without using exploits to reset vendors, dupe items, or waiting an absurd amount of time in towns, how do you power level smithing while doing as little else as absolutely possible? A tour of all Skyrim's gold mines? A bank heist? Some way to carry an entire Dwarven ruin in your backpack?

Ive got a lot of conflicts this year, but this one is stumping me.
On one hand, I love Avatar. Probably the best live show ive ever seen. But I HAVE seen them. Just in November. Do I go with the show I know will be fantastic, but Ive already seen, or do I diggy diggy a new hole?
Just making sure before I drop $200 on parking.
