I asked mountainside outfitters to recreate something on their website and my deadline was the end of July before the law changes and I have to pay hundreds of dollars $$ and a new long class just to pick up a gun.

I asked them to make the Springfield hellcat / hellcow. Cow print gun on their website. It has Moo etched into the side of the gun next to 9mm.

I asked MANY times to see what the art would look like before doing it- because it is permanent and I have a deadline.

They when ahead and did this cerakote job (looks like spray paint to me). I know nothing about cerakote.

Everything online I’ve seen looks clean. There is some cow print that has not many black spots and very spaced out- it looks bad. Some are done very well. Which is why I asked for a proof and approval before finalizing. Which they ignored.

I put $500 down. $950 total. They said If I don’t like it they will put it on their sales floor and remake it for me.

I am NOT paying for this. I do NOT trust them to do a decent job after seeing this GARBAGE work.

Who can I commission to do this custom job for Me? I will now have to take the long class and pay more $$ as it will be past July 31st now. I’m really upset with them.

The “hellcow” and “moo” is laughable. Very bad size and font. I asked for engraving. Not stenciled colored.

It also looks sloppy all over. The pink trigger look hand painted on by a brushstroke.

The white parts have black showing through ALL OVER.

No other cow print Glocks online look even remotely this sloppy. What the hell is going on?

I am so confused right now.

This is absolutely garbage job correct me if I’m wrong?

Can someone with experience chime in?

Is this normal? If not- does Olight fix things like this or just replace? I don’t want to lose my custom paint job and arkbeat data.

Fixing a mainline leak for a customer on reclaimed water system.

I fixed a three-quarter inch PVC break.

I use the yard hydrant to flush out dirt and air
When I turned it off, it would not stop leaking so I exercised it on off and off a lot until it finally sealed up

I understand when you shut these off it will shut off the valve 3 foot down in the ground and drain the standpipe so that it is freeze tolerant

I could audibly hear a water, hissing noise coming from the hydrant when it was turned off and minutes after it should be done draining
At first there were still maybe .2 gallons per minute movement on the water meter and then it stopped. It is over 200 foot long mainline so it may take a minute to fully charge after use and hold static pressure.

But anyways, I could still hear this audible noise from the yard hydrant even after five minutes of no movement on the water meter…

My first assumption was if there’s movement on the water meter there could be some debris that got caught in the valve and it is slowly passing by Wright to the drain at the bottom of the yard hydrant.

But now that theory is shot because there’s no movement on the water meter…

Thoughts?

I bought a new TST LED blinker relay because my turn signals were blinking too fast because of my led upgrades. I can’t find it on my 2021 mt03. The relay I found under the seat has a different pin layout that I’m pointing to in this picture

Help with upgrading suspension:

It’s my “work truck” lots of weight in tools and rear suspension is super low. It keeps scraping my hitch cargo.

Suspension may be shot or just too much weight.

Either way I want to upgrade my shocks/struts to something of a better brand that can handle more weight and keep the backend higher without sagging.

The front needs it too eventually but the front sits high and is fine right now.

On a budget.

Eventually would want a lift kit 1-4 inches but I heard that can wear out control arms etc faster?

What can I do for now?

I don’t fully understand it and sometimes I just smash buttons until I get it to work if someone can help me understand please

I had a lot of high RPMs and maybe starvation of oil due to wheelies in my engine, lost power. It started making a weird noise and basically broke / “blew up”

I’m in the middle of an engine swap and I’m very curious what you guys think might’ve failed based on this picture
