I bought a new TST LED blinker relay because my turn signals were blinking too fast because of my led upgrades. I can’t find it on my 2021 mt03. The relay I found under the seat has a different pin layout that I’m pointing to in this picture
Help with upgrading suspension:
It’s my “work truck” lots of weight in tools and rear suspension is super low. It keeps scraping my hitch cargo.
Suspension may be shot or just too much weight.
Either way I want to upgrade my shocks/struts to something of a better brand that can handle more weight and keep the backend higher without sagging.
The front needs it too eventually but the front sits high and is fine right now.
On a budget.
Eventually would want a lift kit 1-4 inches but I heard that can wear out control arms etc faster?
What can I do for now?
I don’t fully understand it and sometimes I just smash buttons until I get it to work if someone can help me understand please
Does anyone have a good rule of thumb like hand tight and then 360° after that for most fittings I do residential so typically 1 inch threading and three-quarter inch threading. Specifically I keep cracking the female PVC threads on 1 inch 90s for the drains on manifold.
I’ve been doing Irrigation for 10 years and maybe I’m getting complacent and really trying to avoid leaks by making things tight because I’m definitely had little drips here and there for things that maybe we’re out of my control like bad threading Etc.
Interim creating the leak.

I typically use three wraps of the blue monster Teflon and a little bit of pipe dope for mainline fittings

I really want one- because it says “hellcow” engraved instead of hellcat and “Moo”’instead of “9mm”
Only problem is they do not come compensated or ported.
So it might be worth it for me just to buy the gun I want and then get it coated.. as for the custom engraving I probably won’t be able to get that. It’s a really cool small detail is that something that a custom gun smith could do or not?

I had a lot of high RPMs and maybe starvation of oil due to wheelies in my engine, lost power. It started making a weird noise and basically broke / “blew up”
I’m in the middle of an engine swap and I’m very curious what you guys think might’ve failed based on this picture
Rarely but occasionally, I will get a pretty sizable puff of smoke from the exhaust on start up and it happens randomly so I have not been able to get a video of it.
I’ve heard this could be normal from oil leak through on piston rings due to the boxer engine or something?
Is it a cause for concern?
Secondly, I feel like I do notice a weird smell I think ammonia from my exhaust is that something to be concerned about as well?

Almost got T boned today and tried to pull footage.
Viofo just doesn’t record sometimes..? And I press buttons and it doesn’t respond…
Please reccomend something that just works. I don’t want to have to rewire everything again so thinkin of upgrading to a new Viofo they have good reviews but the new ones may be usb C. Mine is micro usb so I will probably have to rewire regardless ugh.
I’m trying to find a secure and elegant solution for strapping a passenger helmet to the rear seat during travel. I’ve tried a couple different bungee nets that didn’t work very well.
I bought a couple Rachio controller outdoor enclosures-
One of them came with a pigtail and the waterproof tightening plastic nut-
The rest of them did not come with us. Can I buy this elsewhere?

2021 mt03 engine blew up doing wheelies
- threw in an eBay low miles 2025 r3 engine. Reputable seller -said “runs - mileage unknown) judging by the valves and sprocket it looked like less than 1k miles on the odometer to me.
Can’t get it to start up fully.
It HAS spark- tested from the spark plug boot/cap with spark plug to the motorcycle frame - both cylinders had spark.
It should have fuel - Turning the key the fuel pump primes- and I tested into a catch can- the fuel tank was pissing out fuel. (Maybe injectors clogged?)
I think it’s a compression issue?
Dry/ wet compression tests range but about 140psi on average.
Not a huge change from wet to dry . So probably not piston rings. Maybe a valve issue? Ordered valve clearence shims 7.48mm.
Google says compression should be 180-210ish psi.
Seems odd with a less than 1k mile odometer (estimate) engine to have bad compression?
Can I reuse the valve cover gasket after opening up to inspect the valve clearances? I normally always change gaskets but I might be opening and closing it multiple times and on time crunch not sure when I could get one in my hands.
- someone mentioned they had to change their flywheel when swapping fz07 to r7 engines.
- or had to swap the entire wire harness. Either or.

What I have tried or changed:
I did try a 2025 ECU and the fuel pump never stops priming as I’m testing and it still doesn’t turn over fully.
I did try and remove air filter and spray starter fluid - no change.
I did try different battery - lithium - OEM - & on a battery tender. No change.
I did try open and closing throttle and pulling in the clutch while starting.
(IT IS IN NEUTRAL AND KICKSTAND IS UP- tip/lean/angle sensor should be good as the fuel pump is priming still)
I did swap 2021 throttle body for 2025 as the engine rubber boots didn’t match up to the 2021 throttle body.
I did swap the 2025 engine temperature sensor out for the 2021- as the wiring harness was slightly different shape.
I did swap the stator & regulator rectifier for a lithium battery compatible version (worked just fine with my old motor). - everything lined up fine before resealing stator cover.
I did drop the oil pan to do an oil pickup tube mod so I don’t starve it of oil doing wheelies - (didn’t fit) so I put the OEM oil pickup screen back and used a new oil pan gasket and resealed it fine.
I do have a 2025 wire harness coming in the mail just in case I need to swap all of it out.

The 2025 uses COP coil on plug style.

The 2021 ECU knows to use the boot + separate coil pack. I’m using the 2021 ECU - 2021 plug boo + separate coil pack setup.
The 2025 ECU knows to use the COP style boot. (I’m not using the 2025 ECU I bought or the 2025 COP boots that came with the 2025 engine I have in the 2021 mt03 frame)
The 2021 vs 2025 uses a different spark plug - 2021 NGK CR8EIX 16mm socket. (Iridium upgrade)
The 2025 uses NGK SILMAR8A9S (longer threads & 14mm socket) (iridium upgrade)
-could this cause issue?
Using OG 2021 coil packs / spark plug tubes. (Not using the COD coil on device spark plug tubes that came with the new engine. - as the OG 2021 ECU is setup for separate coil pack / spark tubes.
Had to buy 2025 throttle body for the metal cylinders to mate into the engine rubber boot gaskets.
All things are plugged in.
Sounds like I have spark and fuel. But won’t turn over. Advice?
(There is smoke in the video because the exhaust isn’t fully seated into the header yet as I don’t want to replace multiple exhaust gaskets during testing I haven’t installed them yet.
Just like copper has no stop couplers I’m trying to find where to buy pvc 1” schedule 40 couplers without stop

I dremel cut the oil pickup screen/ tube
And will plastic weld it on backwards.
As is- OEM- during a wheelie the pickup tube will pull from the top of the oil sump- and will run the engine dry.
MOD: wheelie angle will now pull from the bottom of the oil sump- along with overfilling oil (to very close to the top of the sight glass) was recommended.
Hopefully this engine last longer!
I have a 2025 engine (doing an engine swap after blowing mine from wheelies- with a 2021 MT03- and wow is it a headache)
the 16mm deep well- thin wall socket is not working…? It does on my 2021 engine. Confused. Can anyone attest?
What’s the cheapest option or the best option cause I was looking at the blue website and it’s like the middle of $125 subscription based and obviously I can cancel it right after ordering but I really only want one or two just try it cause I’m super curious how it would affect me. I don’t have a huge problem but I still want to try it.
I’ll drink like two or four monsters day and I’m wondering about kidney stones or even heart attack does anyone have any information for me?
