Frontier states $25 booking fee at airport is valid

This is a follow up to my post a couple days ago. At the recommendation of the subreddit, I filed with the DOT. The DOT reached out to Frontier and this was Frontier's response. I just wanted to share the information here because some people are saying theyre not getting charged and others are.

Is Frontier allowed to charge a booking fee when buying tickets at airport?

I was charged a $25 assist fee but its weird because im trying to avoid the CIC online fee. I thought DOT made it so these type of fees are not allowed. I bought tickets for a flight thats a month away and did not require any other special assistance, just bought tickets thats it. Just trying to understand if this is normal?

Wife and 2 kids ate a meal at taco bell that cost $1.05. We shared a packet of avocado salsa comfortably between all of us. In comparison I spent $30 at Chipotle for a meal that only fed one person. Never again will I go to Chipotle. Im voting with my wallet now!
