Anyone get a transconjunctival midface lift? Are you happy with results?

I've seen two surgeons about a midface lift. One temporal while the other transconjunctival. I'm pretty sure I'm going with this procedure due to less visible scarring (with my hairline temporal scars will show).

Consultation Review: Etonne

I wrote this review because there just isn't a lot of info about etonne.

I'm looking to get facial work done, specifically lifting. Etonne caught my eye last year but I wasn't ready for any surgeries at the time.

Through WhatsApp I received an estimate however Etonne only does in person consultations, no virtual. They noted that without a deposit there was no guarantee a spot would be open for surgery within my time frame. Generally I've been pretty happy with Etonne through WhatsApp. They've answered my questions and haven't ghosted me like another clinic.

My questions really centered around the procedure. At Etonne for this particular surgery, the incision is along the lower eyelid so I had questions about the procedure and scarring and what is used for adhering the muscle. They answered all my questions which I appreciated.

When i made it to SK I made sure to make an appointment for Etonne and speaking to Dr. CHO. First thing I noticed when sitting down, they have multiple look book of results, each book dedicated to a surgery (nose, lifting ,etx). Next, I'm glad they had English speaking staff. Prior to the appt I asked if I needed to bring a translator and they said no. Huzzah!

Thier staff was nice and the speaker had great English. The coordinator was thorough in asking questions. And I didn't feel a lot of pressure or upselling.

I really like that it was not a long wait to speak to the coordinator or the doctor. The Dr. Cho fast speaker, great grasp of english. I was able to speak with him without a translator. He diagnosed what he thought the issue was and which lift was best, he also seemed to prefer fat grafting vs filler. I did ask a few questions about extent of lifting and in what direction he was pulling the muscle (for this procedure vertical). I thought it was funny, at some point he realized i had done my research and figured out i knew a bit about the surgery 😅

After the Dr. left, the coordinator came back to answer more questions. They did show an example of the incision. As for the cost lowdown. There was no upselling which I appreciated. They kept it simple and the pricing was very similar to the pricing I received thru WhatsApp.

What I disliked: the look book for lifting had everyone wearing makeup in the after. But that does seem like something that is custom in Korea.

At this point I do not know if I will go with Etonne or give up and get work done in Mexico. Lol. I have not received any discount for this review as I haven't signed up with them.

If this review sounds like it's full of roses, well it was much better than an in person consultation I had an hour before at another clinic which I will give a writeup for in a couple of days.

Have you gotten Korean pricing or at least cheaper forgiener pricing?

I don't need exact korean pricing but cheaper foriegner pricing would be nice. I've read the posts and some have suggested contacting thru Kakao and use Google translate. Does this work? Also if you have, what is the response when they see your pictures?

Any clinics or surgeons to research that specialize in midface lift?

It seems like most clinic can do a full facelift but a midface lift seems difficult. I get it's a surgery that doesn't necessarily produce big results.

Midface lift in SK, recover items list? And when did you look fit for public?

I'm going to S. Korea for a midface lift and lower eyelid work. What items to purchase prior to the surgery to make recovery easier?

Also if you had a midface lift, I'm curious to know how you looked after a month or so. About 8 weeks after surgery I'm going of another long haul flight US to Europe.

Anyone tried laser hair removal?

I've got chin hair. It's not many but sometimes they're so tiny i have to wait for them to grow to pluck them. Also some of them are gray. I'd like to eliminate them and was thinking about laser hair removal.

Just what others experience was with this.

Do you have an at home walking pad? Would you recommend it?

I'm thinking about adding a walking pad to my home. And I'm wondering about recommendations.

I'm specifically looking for one that has an incline, and is on the smaller side, it woud be wonderful if it was foldable but that's not required.

If you have a walking pad do you actually use it? I get about 8k+ steps a day automatically from walking my dog. An incline would be nice to have.

Are you putting down a deposit before you get to SK?

I'm talking with about 3 clinics about getting some procedures done. They are requesting a deposit to reserve surgery time and i understand why. However I'd prefer to meet the doctors in person prior to choosing a surgeon.

Are you putting down a deposit even if you are speaking with multiple clinics?

Also any thoughts on the following clinics for lower eyelid + fat repositioning and midface lift:

- etonne

- ipche

- onyoo

A question that has nothing to do with relationships: What color to paint my kitchen cabinets?

I'm painting my kitchen cabinets and I'm waffling on color. My kitchen floors are pretty bold (but I love them!) and I'd like a color that compliments.

Yes this is an AI rendering based on my kitchen photos. It's difficult for me to visualize color changes.

The color choices are: BM mysterious (charcoal/blue) or SW Cordovan (oxblood)

Adding description of colors.

The Dailee planner question

I was considering getting the Dailee weekly planner. I saw there's a trip planning section. Are there multiple trip planning sections? I have a few to plan for 2026-2027.

I was also looking at the digital version of the weekly. Is it possible to add pages? As in if the physical does not have multiple trip planning, could I add more pages of it in the digital?

If you did HBOT in Seoul, was it terrifying?

I'm reading that some people deal with anxiety while doing HBOT. This is my concern as well. I've been researching clinics for this treatment and some are just a body sized tubes with a window 💀

I just want to know how the experience was for you. And if the treatments were useful for healing.

How to tell if I need just a midface lift vs full facelift?

Title.

I don't think i need a full facelift however I'm currently shopping around for pricing in S. Korea and couple clinics mentioned full facelift.

I don't have jowls at all and my jawline is pretty defined imo. I do have nasolabial lines and hollow eyes, I lost about 40 lbs last year and my bite has changed alot due to invasilign. I def need facial fat grafting due to loss of volume. And I would not argue with a midface lift.

I don't want to undergo unnecessary changes but also I don't want to waste my money and still have NL within a year of the surgery.

Midface lift or Ultherapy + filler for NL folds?

I've been researching midface lifts, particularly to soften nasolabial folds. I've lost about 40 lbs + invaslign has changed my bite so NL has gotten pretty visible regardless of facial expression.

I'm looking at S. KOREA for the operation. Most of the surgeons suggest midface lift + fat graft.

I was looking for long term reviews of this procedure and I've seen that midface lifts really aren't a way to soften NL folds long term. Also fat grafts don't last and it's unknown how long it will last.

Basically I'm wondering if I should get a dissolvable filler and do some skin treatments like ultherapy instead. I would just save a facelift for later.

Anyone consulted with or had eye surgery/rhino with Yellow Plastic Surgery?

Yellow PS has popped up for me and I think i like thier noses. Right now I am considering them snd wanted to know if anyone has visited the clinic or had surgery with them.

I'm wondering how the facility is in person or speaking with the surgeons. If you had surgery, are you happy with results?

Loose brown pitbull in Randolph

Walking my dog this morning around 7am at PJ park and saw a loose pit bull walking towards the park. On our way back home (7:38 am) we saw the same pit bull this time at the corner of Idlewood and Randolph.

Older pittbull, dark brown, cut ears. Probably a mini pit judging by stature.

I didn't want to get too near to see about any ID since I had my dog with me.

Has anyone tried C. Paravano shoes?

I'm looking for slingback flats or low heels for my size 10.5 feet. I've seen this brand come up in searches but haven't purchased. Just wanted to know about quality and sizing and customer service.

Nasolabial Folds

Not sure if this fits since it's about facial procedures. I have pretty visible nasolabial folds due to losing 40 lbs a little over a year ago. I also got invisalign, which changed my bite/teeth positioning.

I'm wondering if a facelift + fat transfer can really soften or even eliminate NL folds in the long term (let's say 7 years+). I've been scouring B and As but the afters aren't long term enough imo.

I don't want filler or sculptra. And I think a facial fat graft only wouldn't solve the problem (I could be wrong).

I just wanted to get other people's thoughts. I know they're normal and we are our own biggest critic but I'm also of the mind that if a facelift can fix it, I may as well.
