Ubacio sam kupusa, dinljene paprike, mrkve i ostale začine.

Morska hrana i Split

Sad dolazimo do MOG dojma Splita.

Stranica TZ Split mi nije baš pomogla, jbg.

Hvala svima!

Games with similar gear progression system

What are other games that have similar progression system other than Assassin's Creed pre RPG era?

I mean when you don't have to change gear every hour and you actually stick with your gear and only upgrade it or change it 2-5 times in the game?

This is my favourite gear progression system because you can focus on story and side quests instead of gear grinding and it's probably why Witcher 3 is my favourite RPG.

I don't understand why I can't sing in tune

So here is some starting info about me.

I am 37 years old and I have been playing guitar since I was 12. I can play by ear, and I have no trouble recognising melodies and replicating them on my guitar. I even started learning piano a few years back and I'm really good at it and learning very fast.

I started taking classes last year, but the coach was always rescheduling or even canceling the scheduled term.

I did improve somewhat but in 20 classes (or 4 months) not very much.

Rarely I can sing in tune but even then, I miss notes or sing them very obviously out of tune.

Also, it's very discouraging seeing someone who never took classes or isn't even trying to sing correctly, sing better than me and hitting notes. I have no problem with people who are singers, I know I will never sing like them but seeing some random drunk hitting notes is very discouraging for me.

My class teacher is giving me positive feedback because I have a very big vocal range of which I really am aware, but what is the use if I can't sing the damn song in tune.

All I hear is the stories on how people magically started singing after some classes because they learned to "free their voice".

I'm really not trying to be negative and I'm willing to work but I've always wanted to sing so bad and it's really sad that I can't take my guitar and sing along all the beautiful songs I love.

Now we come to my question.

Did anyone ever take very, very long time to learn to sing in tune, like if I don't get better after 1 year of practice should I just quit and stop wasting my money or is there any chance I will get better at one point or another? Should I try to find another vocal coach?

I just finished the game, my thoughts (ready for downvotes)

What a journey! It took me about 35 hours for story + light exploration. I finished this game last time in 2019. I think and so I forgot most of the story, I remembered only important parts for the lore.

So the game is controversial for this or that and no one agrees on anything, but I wanted to say a few things.

Combat 7.5/10

I want to take back my ranting about combat before release, after playing the game I admit it's not perfect but for me it's fun. There are some frustrating parts, but I can live with it, and Ubisoft may fix/upgrade it. I'm not looking for a challenge in Assassin's Creed because I like to have fun so there's that. Some people have other wishes and opinions and that's legit.

Story 9/10

Story is mostly the same, but I have to say that I don't remember experiencing it so emotionally. Blackbeard's death, Stede Bonnet, Reed... And ending is very good.

Parkour 8/10

This is the first Assassin's Creed I enjoyed parkour so much since Unity. Even though there are some Basim things I don't know why but it reminds me of Unity. Long jumps, flashy animations.... I can be a bit janky, and Edward does things I don't want him to but that reminds me of original :D Climbing is too fast at some points, but Ubisoft may address that. Feels like Spiderman at some point.

Graphics are 10/10, nothing to add here. Outfits also look awesome, best-looking outfits since Unity (I know most of them are in original but still, updated they look awesome.

Sailing and naval combat 10/10, nothing to add also.

Obviously, I miss some things from original like running animations, jumping from trees to trees and some parkour animations were much better in original.

I think this reminds everyone of how Ubisoft used to be good at making compelling games and this may lead them back to the path. Good story, good animations, mocap and great action sequences (action is completely gone in RPG era).

Let the downvote fest begin!

p.s. I'm playing on PC, keyboard and mouse and I was lucky not to have any big bugs except 2 crashes at Nassau. All quests finished smoothly.

There are two types of gamers

1st - hide all gear

2nd - show all gear for immersion

Which one are you? 😄

(inspired by Black Flag Resynced player requests to hide guns/blowpipe and Ghost Recon W/BP player wearing biggest backpack available because you have a lot of gear)

Difference in graphics between some games

First of all, I'd like to say I know almost nothing about how to make games so I'm just talking from my personal perspective and how I see some games.

I'm a PC player and I have replayed all AC games recently (didn't finish Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla but played for few hours).

So if I understand correctly, all AC games are built on the same ANVIL engine, just different generations.

I have some questions I could not Google out and some opinions (I hope you don't find yourself offended but I can't help that).

So AC Unity in all it's flows has a distinct art style and looks great up to this day. It has it's bugs, pop-ins, some NPC's look bad etc... But Arno and buildings look great and Arno's animations are fantastic. It all helps with how you experience the game.

So I started Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla. Something is completely different with those games even though it the same engine. This is where I have questions because it's not clear to me 100% what is going on.

Animations are more generic, almost like it's an really modern MMO. They are not BAD per se but there is something missing. It's like there is less variety and it's more "stiff" (?).

Also, the world building is awesome in all of 3 games but again, something is OFF to me and I can't point my finger. I showed Unity, Origins and Odyssey to a friend and I had to prove it to him that Unity was released before Origins, he did not believe me. :D

Then we have Shadows where the graphics are again completely different than previous RPG games. Game looks awesome and combat animations look much better.

Then again, Black Flag Resynced looks 10 times better than anything released since Origins. Like they went back to Unity style.

Is there someone who is into game making business that can elaborate on this?

Milan, Trenno garage parking?

Hi my Italian brothers! I'm from Croatia and coming to Milan tonight.

Can you give me some advice on garage parking in or near Trenno?

We want to leave our car in a safe garage not a parking lot.

Thank you and see you on ippodromo on Sunday!

Is naval also faster in Resynced?

I've been watching videos and comparing but I can not see a difference in naval speed, only in Edwards animations when he is turning the helm, that animation is faster probably to adjust for faster combat and running so it's not out of the place.

Ship sailing seems same to me, same heavy animations with sailing. Of course we can't know until it's released but what do you think? I think they only sped up all Edwards animations but not the sailing.

EDIT: to be clear I don't want it to be faster

Did my taste completely change or am I going through phases?

So I am 37 years old now. When I was growing up majority of games were linear or level based. Most "open-world" we had was Age of Empires, Red Alert and games like these. I never played text-based games so I don't know about that. We had some open world or open ended games like Elder Scrolls but that came later.

Growing up I played a lot of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 and replayed it countless times. Same as Splinter Cell 1,2 and 3 and some other games.

When GTA started to become popular, it was one of the first really open world games I played. Then the open world craze started and all I wanted to play is open world games. It was such a hit back then. I don't know how many of you remember how big of a deal that was.

Time passed and I have 1000 hours in Skyrim, 500 hours in Witcher 3, 900 hours in RDR2, replayed AC 2, 3 and Black Flag at least 5 times each, etc...

Fast forward to Assassin's Creed Origins which actually released BEFORE RDR2. I tried playing that game for like 5 times and I could never get into it. I would get bored. The whole game felt kind of FLAT. No excitement whatsoever. Odyssey even worse. I so wanted to love that game because of setting and history but my mind simply said NO. You are bored of this :D Agan, same thing happened with Valhalla.

I even got bored in the middle of MGS V: Phantom Pain and I ADORE that franchise.

I finished Shadows because it had something that clicked with me and it was fun.

As all that was happening I realised I'm again playing linear storytelling games like The Last of Us 1 and 2, Uncharted 4, Detroit: Become Human, Alan Wake, Metal Gear Delta, First Light.

I don't think it's the open world design as much as not focusing on story (MGS V excluded).

I think the gaming meta right now is open world, freedom to do whatever, legendary gear and character builds.

It's implemented in so many franchises, they even tried to force it into Ghost Recon.

With Assassin's Creed they succeeded and it turns out they were right, people love that.

When talking about story in games, all the time I get comments like "If you want a good story go watch a movie"

Did I just made full circle and went back to my gaming taste when I was young and playing MGS 1?

To be honest as a grown up working man, I do not even have time to play every game for 500 hours now.

Are we as players really do not want story driven games? Is is really general opinion that games do not need to have good story anymore?

GRB: immersive outfit pattern recommendation

Hi everyone. What outfit pattern do you use for immersion in Auroa? I find a combination of Multicam black and olive drab/brown to be the best fit. You can hide in forests and it's also pretty okay when coming up to bases.

All of my operatives wear 3rd/4th echelon gear. Roleplaying Echelon operatives instead of Ghost Recon.

Also, I'm back after maybe three or four years and I'm doing the story and whole game from the beginning. First time I had about 130 or so hours but I didn't play for a long time. If there are new players who want to do story hit me up (PC).

Modern Warfare SP campaign in 2 and 3

Hi everyone, I don't know how often this gets asked since majority of people are playing only MP mode.

To start I'd like to say I am not interested in MP and my questions is only about SP.

So I played COD: MW 2019 reboot and It's was one of the best single player military shooter experiences I had in a long time. The mission "Clean house" is a masterpiece.

I played MW games when they came out and didn't come back until the reboot.

My question is are the bugs and glitches in MW 2 and 3 ever fixed and do they affect SP or only MP?

I'm afraid to buy the games since they are somewhat expensive, even on sale. They have such negative reviews but I guess they are mostly based on MP experience.

Am I safe to purchase MW 2 and 3 for single player campaign?

Thanks everyone in advance!

EDIT: examples

EDIT 2: I just noticed it's less then 7 € right now!

Just got back into the game after 2 months...

So I stopped playing a few months ago. I wanted to replay all AC games and also First Light released.

I'm glad I'm back, I see a lot of improvements and changes, also game runs better. It's beautiful to see how much devs care about this game.

I'm going to finally finish the main quest, I stopped at chapter VIII

BUT there are so many different control I need to relearn everything :D Good luck to me!
