When I give SD 2.5 a storyboard … it adopts the art style of the storyboard. I’ve tried promoting to only use it for kinetic reference and action direction. But it keeps copying the art style. Any suggestions?
I used a depth map again on renders based on my wife’s model, continuing the song experiment I posted recently.
The main test here was the tracked-object stabilization, and I think it came out surprisingly well. Both clips use the same song and lyrics—one in Romanian and one in Korean. The Korean lip-sync didn’t turn out particularly well, but that wasn’t the focus of this experiment.

Simple as that. Trying to gauge group perspective.
That’s my girl! Character trained on images of my wife. Depth maps based on recordings of her. Then added enhancements with seedance.
For the longest time everyone went nuts how evil the big H is. How scummy their marketing and pricing is.
Now that the rest of the market is doing similar with SD2.5 … suddenly “you know who” isn’t the worst guy anymore. Not saying they ok. But I’m not seeing thousands of posts complaining about them anymore.
At least they clearly state the unlimited use is for a finite time. Right along the sales flyer. Not in fine print or obscure messaging.
desktop app - Mac and pc - as well as iOS .... can't seem to find where "myGPTs" are. I have almost 100 different GPTs I use through web app.... and primarily use them as my interface with chatgpt... but for a few days now since updating the app I can't find them.
gpt is saying they were removed, and now to use the web only. I'm PRAYING that's not true..... that'll be a sh!tshow for me.
I pay for the service, and this is pretty much the main function I need. I use Claude for everything else.
videos I did quick edits/crop/clip - when I try to sync to iCloud/shared folders - it just hangs in "PREPARING" state. I have about 30+ videos now.... the photos app says syncing... for 3 weeks+.
I have plenty of space in iCloud (\~1.5TB... the videos are like 50MB each).
connection is fine.
I've restarted my device. logged out/in... and did a factory reset and tried with new videos. (old ones gone). even push to Airdrop doesn't work.
only thing I've found is if I REVERT to original, then sync... works. which is horrible.
Any suggestions? I saw some posts that this was an issue about 5 years ago.... but I'd assumed it was fixed by now... seems like a pretty critical feature failure.
When extending video with last-first frame. The video quickly degrades with each new frame input as first frame. It’s following the style and tone of THAT frame … and slowly drifting from the original quality.
How yall deal with this?
Noticed in recent years a distinct drop in sci-fi movies/shows - having ai characters.
Maybe it’s because pro ai - think it’s not sci fi anymore and we close to having it reality.
And anti -ai- don’t find it cute anymore.
When I look back at JARVIS from iron man I remember just a few years ago thinking that’d be so cool someday.
Now it’s like —- oh. That’s kinda a thing. No we don’t have THAT exactly. But we are close enough where envisioning a world where everyone has access to something like Jarvis is almost upon us.

I recently came upon the realization that a VERY large volume of the anti ai comments in various ai forums …. Are bots themselves.
Like in the seedance groups. It’s for seedance people. Videos will often have a ton of negative “ai slop” comments. But when engaging with them … they almost never respond. And when you look at history … it might say they been around for years. But no actual posts or comments.
It’s weird seeing anti AI stuff coming from AI.

This is also my first time editing an action scene, and I have a whole new appreciation for how difficult fight scenes are to cut together. Getting the pacing, choreography, camera movement, and impacts to feel right is a challenge. There are definitely shots I’d change if I revisited it. And yes… Sunny punches hammers with her fists more than once. 😂 Not exactly realistic, but sometimes you just have to let AI do AI things.

For a 720p vid - using seedance 2 fast … higgsfield comes to about 5-6 cents / second ($0.055/sec).
Is there anything cheaper than that on the market ?
Most I find claim to be cheap … but turn out $0.08-$0.10/sec. Which racks up fast.
Wife and I watched fireworks in our new city. We moved about a month ago and it’s been exhausting.
This past weekend was first time in 4 months we had time to ourselves to relax.
We went to a shooting range. She missed shooting her old savage 457. We had dinner at a bbq place. Worked out. Went sauna. Watched the drone and fireworks from our balcony.
It was a very pleasant and happy weekend for us both.
We didn’t take pics cause we were so busy having fun and enjoying the moments.
I wanted to capture the feeling and memory.
So I talked to ChatGPT about what we did.
Had it make me a small song … I used Suno to make it.
Made a small list of images to be rendered in batch representing highlights.
Used seedance and LTX to animate them.
Made a small music video.
My wife saw it this morning and said it feels lovely to have such things. To remember such emotions.
It’s not for sharing. Just for us to remember. I have it in our plex library.
I wouldn’t pay $300 for every time I have one of these memories. But yeah. I’m willing to spend $1-2 in music renders and videos.
Any artists willing to commission such work and drive those emotions out for $1-2? No?
