Ho comprato le mie prime armi nuove, magari cercando l'offerta o la fine serie...

Mi sono però imbattuto in alcuni annunci di armerie con usati che almeno dalle foto sembravano "pari al nuovo" , con un risparmio comunque di alcune centinaia di euro rispetto al nuovo.

Voi cosa comprate di solito?

Io nel caso specifico avevo visto una Buckmark, che è sostanzialmente uguale da sempre o quasi, quindi non c'è un discorso tipo "il nuovo modello ha..."

This happened to me once about one year ago (and I activated 2FA) , but recently it's almost daily. In the meanwhile I also inserted a recovery email.

I receive the notification, the popup in WhatsApp, the SMS with the code.

I never noticed, at least up to now, anything else.
My phone seems to be connected to the network normally, calls and SMS are fine.
My operator does not allow multiple sim with the same number or things like that.
I recently changed it, but this issue didn't start immediately after the change.

No strange photos or messages inside WhatsApp.
Asked a couple of close friends and they never noticed anything strange in my profile.

I'm a bit worried since there are online stories where, at a certain point, they somehow got banned or "hacked" , or at least they say that.

Do I just need to "start tolerating" this daily notification?

After activating 2FA and recovery email, is there anything else I can do?

Hi, I noticed that when I assembled the printer a tube was overlapping another one and I moved the tubes to place them in a better way.

I noticed that the fittings seem embedded in the canvas module...
Am I wrong?

If they're just built in and not replaceable, how much "insertions cycles" may someone expect from them?

Circa un anno fa mi era capitata la notifica "è stato richiesto un codice di verifica" e relativo SMS con codice, che ho ignorato pensando fosse un errore di qualcuno.

Per sicurezza all'epoca ho attivato la 2FA e inserito la mia mail.
Recentemente ho avuto 4-5 messaggi simili nel giro di un mese, non ho ricevuto chiamate per chiedermi il codice e truffarmi, whatsapp sembra funzionare normalmente, in ogni caso non ho nemmeno ben capito cosa possano fare di un account WhatsApp se in ogni caso è collegato al numero di telefono...

Scrivo consapevole che non sia forse di interesse generale, ma volevo capire di più... Non ho mai sentito persone parlare di questa cosa, forse ignorano la notifica e basta?

Hi, I bought some time ago on a special offer a 2,5 kg petg spool.

On my previous printer I just used to put filament on smaller spools manually (sounds weird but it worked and was useful to keep dry the big spool).

Anyway, they're not tightly winded like new ones and that probably would interfere with the Canvas retraction...

Any suggestions, like using a bigger spool roller for it outside the side supports, or do I need to just buy smaller ones?

Hi, I've seen some 3d printed grips, and printing with fuzzy skin may give good surfaces.
Anyway, most of them are used on airsoft or replicas...

Is anyone here using 3d printed grips (PETG, ABS or what else) on a real firearm?

With my previous mikrotik router I had some firewall rules made reading forum posts, in the new L009 I noticed that the default configuration seems fine, and probably those settings are studied by people wiser than me.

It's simply an home router, behind another VDSL router, is there anything I should change in default firewall configuration to increase safety?

I just configured back to home so I don't need open incoming ports, forwarding and other things...

I wrote some days ago since I had a broken rb2011.
Now I bought a new L009 and I'm configuring it.
I need remote access to my home, mainly from my Android phone.
Previously I used L2TP , then moved to OpenVPN.
I read that now there's a mikrotik VPN based on wireguard, called back to home...

Is it better than OpenVPN? Is back to home different from manually configuring wireguard?

EDIT I ended up configuring back to home from the android app, it has been very very fast and easy, seems to work well, let's hope everything is good...

I noticed that the spools are firm since there are small rubber "buttons" at the base of the support.
I think they will be worn before the printer, is it better to look for a replacement in advance or am I just overthinking it?

I live in a quite humid climate, and even if I'm using a dehumidifier some filaments like PETG are better kept in sealed bags when unused...

I've already read that most times Unload is grayed out since the filament is already cut. Is it correct to just pull it out? I feel the friction from the mechanism going backwards, does it damage over time?

Elegoo CC2 combo, latest elegoo slicer, elegoo rapid pla.

I have quite a noticeable elephant foot, not a big deal since I often design with filleted or chamfered edges, but sometimes I need sharp edges.

I already calibrated the printer with the plate at 60C .

Tried lowering plate temperature to 50, without noticeable changes.

Issue seems solved compensating the first layer at 0.35-0.4 in the slicer ...

Is such a big value symptom of something else wrong in the printer?

Z offset is set to 0 in the elegoo slicer, from default settings...

Hi, printing with my new CC2 I noticed that I have a bit of elephant foot (first layer a bit larger).
Not an enormous problem, but you feel the "step" with a fingernail.

It happens with elegoo pla and its settings, with esun petg (generic petg settings).

I mostly design stuff with rounded or chamfered edges so I almost never notice it, but I'd prefer to just have "correct prints" ...

I tried my new cc2 with PLA and it seems to be working very fine, in the past with my older Creality KE I tried PETG but had clogs, failed prints and other issues.
Anything I should know before trying PETG on my new cc2?

Hi, in my home setup I used a RB 2011 for many years. This evening I updated the software, it never went back up and when I tried to reset it I saw smoke from the board (probably there were other issues beside the firmware upgrade...)

Anyway, I need to replace it since my home network is currently almost down. I can temporarily use something else, but I need those features...

Particularly, I need 8-10 gigabit ports (but I can also use an external switch) , I don't need wireless (I have separate devices) , I use the dynamic DNS built in and OpenVPN.
I want the mikrotik flexibility, but in the end it's just an home network, I don't need anything special...

Suggestions?

Hi, I'm currently using an Ender 3 V3 ke with Cura , and I'm waiting my new cc2.

Currently I setup materials in Cura, so everything is in the gcode and the printer basically "doesn't know".

I've seen that the cc2 has a menu to setup filaments...

Does it mean that I don't need anymore to select materials, and the same gcode will work automatically for different materials with different parameters since the printer "knows what to do" ?
Is this true also for the Z offset? I had issues with my creality when using PETG with a different offset, it was tedious to modify when changing material...

Ciao a tutti, ogni tanto penso che mi piacerebbe prendere una pistola 22lr "seria" , non sarà immediato ma ogni tanto mi guardo intorno...

In sintesi mi sembra che i due nomi più citati siano la Buckmark (molti parlano dello smontaggio problematico) o la Ruger Mark IV.

Su quest'ultima ho una domanda probabilmente banale: negli USA la parte "serialized" è il carrello e non il telaio, qui sono entrambe parti fondamentali come per tutte le altre pistole no?

Altri suggerimenti da considerare?

Hi, I'm planning to buy that printer, I'd prefer the Creality more open ecosystem but it seems that the overall quality is better with the CC2.

I plan to use it local only, and use the elegoo slicer under Linux...
I'd like to have a web interface or ssh access but I know recent printers are overall more closed than some years ago.

Anything else I should consider? I've looked at creality k2 and flashforge, but most people prefer the cc2 ...

Leggo spesso, e non dico certo sia sbagliato, di critiche ad Amazon e al suo modello.
Non entro nel dettaglio, ma diciamo che volevo acquistare un prodotto informatico non del tutto mainstream sui 500 euro, consulto alcuni "piccoli store online" specializzati. Guardo i due più comodi e convenienti (in ogni caso non come Amazon ma ci può stare): uno ha il prodotto indicato da due mesi come "preordinabile" ma spostano di continuo la data di arrivo; l'altro dopo aver effettuato l'ordine mi comunica che c'è stato un errore di gestione del sito e il prodotto non è in realtà disponibile attualmente.

Ovviamente su Amazon costava meno, c'era subito e arrivava domani...
Anche con tutta la buona volontà di aiutare le piccole attività locali eccetera eccetera, diventa davvero difficile...

Ciao a tutti, ho letto nei giorni scorsi su social e siti vari di questi cambiamenti che dovrebbero avvenire, ma non sono riuscito a capire "a fondo" , diciamo al di là della politica, se e quali cambiamenti ci saranno.

Onestamente nel mio caso il TSN è comodo, abbastanza vicino, economico... Però al tempo stesso, come dicevamo altre volte, spesso sono tutt'altro che perfetti...

Hi, on my Diana Airbug the wood stock is somehow "tilted" compared to the frame (if you grip it vertically, the sights are a bit rotated).
Tried unscrewing and mounting again, but it stays that way...

Is it normal (so I just keep the rear sight horizontal and the wood grip is meant to stay a bit oblique), or there's something to fix?
