I am going to open a new savings account at a PNB branch. I don't carry cash. I will make the initial deposit by cheque. What should I write in the “Pay” field on the cheque for the Account Opening ?

How do I exchange my 2000 Rs note easily ?

Issue :

1.RBI Kolkata is far away from my location.

2. Local Post offices not considering insured post to send to RBI.

What are my options to exchange my 2000 Rs note.

This is painful.

Is there any solution.
