Answering the phone in public bathrooms

Born and raised in the uk, and I still have no idea why people think this is ok or acceptable to do. If im taking a shit I dont want some random ladies husband and kids to hear me fighting for my lift. There are other places to answer the phone, why do it in a public bathroom???

Boyfriend (M22) and I (F21) have different opinions on marriage

Its not as bad as the title sounds. My boyfriend (M22) doesnt see the point in marriage because he says loving each other is commitment enough and it would be a complicated and expensive process. I (F21) think it would be helpful to get married as it would probably help with Visa applications, passports (he lives in the EU and I dont), and general cohabiting.

I do see his point, especially as his parents want us to have a proper (read: large) wedding with both of our families. His family doesnt leave their country at all, ever and my family wouldn't want to spend money on flights and accommodation when we could just get married in my country. However id be happy to just elope and sign paperwork at a registry office. He said he wouldnt mind that but it would definitely upset both our families.

Obviously this isnt anything we have to deal with soon as we're both young but I was hoping to get some advice and opinions from other LDR couples as to whether its worth eloping for the paperwork benefits and then potentially having a proper "wedding" when its more convenient

EES but passport control is at the gate which we aren't told until 1h prior

Because of the new EES system, ryanair has said for all non eu passengers to go to passport control straight after security. My flight is in 2h, I have been here for 2h already as recommended by Ryanair, passport control is at the gates and I dont know what gate im supposed to go to until 1h prior to my flight. Does this seem like really poor planning on behalf of airlines and airports? Also what am I supposed to do?

That feeling when you have a crush on a guy, you dont know if hes into men but there's an undeniable sexual tension.

Im thinking something like dark academia vibes?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

His behaviour towards me changed when he saw me talking to another guy

I (M21) have a crush on my coworker (M22, Ill call him A)) who ive worked with for 4 years. We have been work friends for most of that time but only started getting close in the past 6 months or so.

So some information about him. He hates all physical touch from everyone (including family), hes never had a relationship, hes not very talkative and is quite a private person even with his close friends, he works a lot.

Normally I see him twice a week but today is the last time I'll see him for 2 weeks because im on holiday. We also have a new member of staff (M21, Bi, ill call him B)) and I was talking to B in the office, getting to know him before I go away because we'll be working together. Every time A walked past the office he would make a joking/sarcastic comment like "go on, get back to work" but he'd be smiling and laughing. He doesnt usually use this kind of bantery/ friendly bullying humor with me.

A was also very touchy with me today as well, he kept holding my hands or brushing up against me or standing closer than he normally would. Every time I went to ask B how he was getting on with training, A would see me in there and either make a bantery comment or ask for my help with something. At one point he asked me to do something and I said "im on break, ill do it after" and he got quite moody with me after because we normally spend our breaks together but i was talking to B instead. About 10 minutes into my break A asked B to do some tills training but didnt say anything to me unlike every other time he walked past. I thought he seemed off so I went to find A and ask him if he was alright. He wasn't really responding to me, lots of "mhm" and "yeah" and he wouldn't look at me.

I then said "are you jealous because im talking to someone else? Don't worry you're still my favourite"

And then his behaviour changed back to how it was before. None of this is how he normally acts towards me so I was wondering if this could be a sign he might like me back?

I (21F) dont want to visit my Bf (21/22M) for his birthday

A bit of context: we've been together for a year and a half, I have flown out to his country 3 times but we haven't seen each other in a year because of our jobs. He has never visited my country despite me asking, he says because he doesnt have a passport but he has the money to get one and hasn't even applied, I even offered to pay for his passport and flights and he said no.

I have a flight booked for tomorrow to go see him for his birthday but I really dont want to go.

We've had a few disagreements recently about his communication issues. He doesnt tell me if he goes out or if hes had a good day or how his work was. I get told nothing. I wouldn't mind too much if he communicated about things that involve me, like phone calls or in this situation my visit.

I sent him a text last week asking for what I might need to pack because I dont know what we're planning on doing, he said "idk, whatever you want" and so i packed what i might need. 2 days later he told me the location were staying at has changed and the new location is cold, my country doesnt get very cold so ive had to order winter clothes, 4 days before my trip and pay to increase the weight of my suitcase for my flights because its heavier with the extra layers.

So after i did all that. I sent him a message saying what ive packed and if there's anything ive forgotten. And he decides to tell me then that he cant pick me up from the airport or drop me off anymore but there's buses and trains and he'll send me the route I need to take. When I asked why he cant pick me up because hes agreed to for months and its only a 45 minute drive from his house. He said he has to pick up his friends and bring them to where WE are staying. I questioned this and hes invited "some friends". So i assumed he'd invited 1 or 2 friends for a few days of my trip, fine it's his birthday. But no hes invited 15 friends for the whole week and they all live in his country but hes picking them up and making me get public transport in a country where I dont speak the language well.

So now im really stressed and dont want to go on the trip but I feel bad if I cancel the day before im supposed to fly. I just need some advice

Sorry if its hard to read, English isn't my first language

Had an interesting conversation with my crush today

Context, I (F21) and my crush (M22) work together but in different sections. Today I finished my work early so went to help out his sections. He asked me to help him with a few tasks and we were chatting while completing them.

I said "you can tell me to go away if im bothering you"

And he said "youre not bothering me, I enjoy your company and I'd tell you if I wanted to be alone"

Which just made my heart flutter so bad.

He then said "you smell nice, are you wearing a new fragrance"

Which, omg he noticed!!! And also, he thinks i smell nice!!!!

I said yes and told him which one and he said he likes it and I should wear it more often!

Another thing is, he hates physical touch of all kind. Hes told me before that it makes his skin crawl and he barely hugs his parents because it makes him uncomfortable. But he brushed up against me, and leant against my back to reach something on a shelf above me, and he put his hand over mine to help me carry something!

The only thing thats making me hesitate confessing to him is that ive asked him 4 or so times to hang out outside of work and hes always said no, twice because he was working his other job and I forgot, once because he already had plans and the other time because he was tired after work and needed to help his mother with something. Id like to hang out outside of work first before confessing anything but im hesitant to ask him to hang out again incase I seem pushy or desperate 😖

Unsure whether I (20F) should breakup with him (22M) or not

Me (20F) and my boyfriend (22M) have been together for nearly 2 years. However for the past 6 months or so hes been barely interacting with me. We're long distance as hes in the army but even when he goes home (every weekend and a few weeks a year) hes still too far away to travel for a few days. I havent seen him in person for a year but im seeing him in 3 weeks.

The distance isn't the problem, it's hard but manageable. What is the problem is that hes not very good at communicating. Ill send him a text at 8am, he wont respond until 10pm after ive gone to sleep. Hes home for a week, I'll get maybe 2 texts a day if im lucky. He claims it's because hes tired and wants to relax which I get. But all im asking for is just a quick "going out with family, talk later" text.

Also he games with his friends for multiple hours a day when hes home but wont call me for more than an hour, and only ever late at night after I would normally sleep. So i miss out on sleep before work and im tired all the next day because hes called his friends all reasonable hours of the day.

Ive complained about this before and he says he joins the call with his friends then falls asleep but ive seen him streaming his gaming. Ive had to block their group chat because it makes me really upset.

I want to break up but im concerned im being too harsh on him considering the circumstances

Hawas Kobra Review

Hawas Kobra by Rasasi is absolutely wonderful. Its fresh and citrusy, strong scent but not overpowering, lasts a long time. Definitely my new favourite fragrance. I cant compare it to Louis Vuitton Imagination because I haven't tried it but 100% recommend Kobra for summer

Called 111 because of medication symptoms

Hi all, im 21(M) And I started citalopram a week ago. Today i was walking home from work and suddenly got very dizzy, light headed, low heart rate, fever, sweating, and just generally felt awful. I thought they were probably symptoms of my medication but didnt have the medication booklet with me so called 111 to make sure.

This lady answers the phone, shes snappy with me and rude and made me feel like I was bothering her. I said i wanted to know if my symptoms are related to my new medication or if I should walk to the hospital literally a 10 minute walk from where I was. She asked the medication and went through the list of symptoms but stopped in the middle to ask if i wanted to be treated for an allergic reaction to the medication, or treat the symptoms without considering my new medication which I thought was odd. I said its not an allergic reaction I just wanted to know if my symptoms were normal with the medication ive just started. She huffed and tutted at me then said "we'll say a reaction to the medication" before continuing to ask the questions. At the end she said she had called an ambulance. I said i didnt need an ambulance because it wasn't urgent and I wasn't far from the hospital. She huffed and tutted at me again and said she had to talk to her supervisor. She then put me on hold. Came back 5 minutes later, said she had to call the ambulance to tell them to come back. Put me on hold again for a while. Came back and said, ok so if you get more symptoms or they get worse, bye. And hung up on me.

So I now feel worse and haven't got any answers and now I feel stressed and overwhelmed. I sat at the side of the road and cried before calling my mum to come get me.

I feel like I shouldn't have called 111 but who else was I supposed to call? It's made me feel like such a burden

I gave my crush coffee and he laughed

Made him coffee, he laughed

I (21M) have a crush on my coworker (22M). We've known each other a few years but only recently started becoming friends. Ive always thought he was attractive but dont know if hes into men. Hes never had a girlfriend and doesnt talk about anyone he finds attractive or anything but hes quite shy and quiet. He knows im gay.

Anyway. Last week he mentioned that he doesnt like hot drinks but likes iced coffee and I noticed he always gets an iced caramel latte from the cafe across the road. I usually make most of my coworkers tea/coffee when I arrive because I start earlier but never made him one because he doesnt drink them. Today I made him an iced coffee and added caramel syrup I brought from the shop on my way in.

When he arrived at work I gave him the coffee and said "it's cold because I know you don't like hot drinks and I added caramel" as I walked out the room he laughed and I saw him smiling.

Is him laughing and smiling when I gave him the coffee a sign that he might like me back or is it something else?

Thanks!

I (21M) think im going to break up with my bf (22M)

So a bit of context.

We've been together a year and a half, we got together quite quickly after meeting and the first 6 months or so was perfect. He was attentive and affectionate, we called daily or at least 3 times a week, often video calls. I visited him 3 times in person. He was flirty and interested in intimacy and spending as much time together as possible. We talked about the future and closing the gap, I even tried to get an internship over there so I could be closer to him.

He then joined the army. I hate the army, he knows this because it came up prior but he was kinda forced to by family pressure. He promised me nothing would change and he'd only be in it for a year maximum. Things were fine for a few more months as we texted daily and called twice a week when we were able to. But then he became distant, he'd call his friends for hours but not answer my texts. When we called, hed act like nothing had changed. He stopped telling me what was going on in his life or if he was meeting up with people. I'd find out only when I asked to call and he'd say hes visiting people or busy, and even then he'd only respond after hours.

Or he'd promise to call at a certain time, then 3-4 h later he still hasn't.

Ive voiced all these issues to him and he always says hes just busy with work or tired which i understand, but he called his friends for 6+h the other day then called me a few weeks later for only 15 minutes, during that time he barely spoke.

Hes also mentioned moving to a specialisation in the army which to me sounds like hes thinking of staying there longer. Especially as hes only got a few months left before hes supposed to be done.

I just feel very neglected and unloved and uncommunicated with.

The only reason im hesitating is because im supposed to be going to see him in September and my flights are paid for and non refundable.

Hes also never visited me in my country although hes planning to for Christmas this year.

Im just very conflicted as I feel like once hes out of the army he may go back to being the loving boyfriend I remember.

Sorry if this doesnt make sense, English isn't my first language
