My husband caught a beautiful moment of a blue heron taking flight on the shore of Lake Michigan

Saw this on our morning walk today!

I’ve always called him my J face baby. But he has a way of looking totally different depending on which side of his face he shows. You tell me, is he a two face? 🤔

he is very self conscious about his eye goop. His eyes are totally fine despite the goop and he is still a pretty boy.

So, my cat knocked over this jade sprout and I stuck it in this little pot with some old dirt, hoping it would re-propagate. And thankfully it’s now sprouting new growth. But I have no clue what’s growing in the soil with it now. I thought they were baby jades but it doesn’t look like it. Anyone know what they are? I’ve only ever used this pot of dirt for succulent babies I think 🤔

Tiny but smell so good

Literally she was obsessed with my stomach during my entire pregnancy and I thought she was going to love the baby like it was her own. After bringing the baby home, our cat Nadja was very annoyed to say the least. She smelled the baby, gagged and has avoided her ever since.

I’ve had this since my grandpas passing but I think it’s time to repot it. Any advice would be appreciated! I love this plant so much and don’t want anything to harm it. Second picture is what the soil looks like.
