PSA to freshman: Even if you're not into sports grab some folks from the dorm and go to some games. Think of it more as a social-event than a sporting-event. It's a great way to get to know your dorm-mates!

Go check out a volleyball match, soccer, there's more than just football! You'll be very surprised how fun it is to just get out with people and try something new. Even if you're not interested in the sport. It's a great way to meet people and make friends.

SpaceX has filed an Environmental Resource Permit for Project Ignition near Roberts Road facilities at Kennedy Space Center. "The proposed development would include a static fire test stand and associated infrastructure to verify post-production testing of Starship and to support static fire tests."

Early Sunday update: estimated 600 structures lost. Number will change as more details come in. All 3 fires together now known as "Spokane-complex fire"

Heard on KHQ. This number will grow. KHQ livestream link , they are starting to get more teams into burned areas showing some footage.

Federal team not on site managing things. Lots of resources will be here today.

Please don't try to go back to your home yet, the fire is still very much active and road blocks are in place. Even if there aren't road blocks avoid any area under level 3 evacuations.

Edit: 9AM: The Old Trails Fire and Fairview fire are both holding and doing pretty well at this point but is not out of danger. Resources are being shifted more up to the Autumn Lane fire as that one still is growing. per KHQ live interview with a fire chief. Autumn lane fire is now over 3000 acres.

edit: updated spokesman article, current number from a fire chief is 640 structures. The size of the fire is now 5,390 acres. it will likely be days before it’s know exactly how many homes were lost. Incident commander anticipates this will be the most destructive fire in Washington’s history

Edit 2: Some additional level 1 and 2 evacuation zones have been added. Level 3 has stayed the same. Check the official maps. Level 1= be ready if needed Level 2 means: Get Set, you could have to evacuate more suddenly. Level 3: GO.
