I go to a dance studio where it's like, you can book one class at a time and the teachers and styles are all different. I just went to a class of an instructor i've never had class in

I kid you not, he looks so similar to Hyun, and almost identical when he smiles and laughs. Not to mention he's also zesty and savage with his comments. I mean the dance we learned was literally so feminine anyway. He also sang when we were practicing without the counts and he actually has vocals nearly identical to Hyun????

Anyways this post is a bit low effort sorry lol

Before I explain anything, I would like to mention that i am horrible at theories, so apologies if this doesn't make any sense at all

I'll start by explaining what i think of the trailer and move on to the mv because i literally just realized these things

Personally, I think the album lore is trying to convey the mindless fans who think idols are some gods, but really they're just like everyone else.

For example, we see in the trailer that the scenes with the members have the same faces, literally the same person. And the fan is immediately put in the shoes (or perspective) of the idols, getting quickly overwhelmed.

In "Chan's" scene, every single item in that menu is the same, yet nobody else notices. Only the fan, (put in the pov of the idol) notices and panics because no one else will care that everyone is the same and will buy stuff, consume stuff like usual (not sure how to explain that scene, but the rest will make more sense)

In "Han's" scene, his image is being sold off in an auction, and we see that it's a vulnerable image of him since "Han" is overwhelmed by the flashing. Again, we see that everyone in the crowd is the same, but no one really minds that, only "Han" does, because in his eyes, everyone is human and everyone is the same. But the fans don't care, they'll frame him and worship him idly.

Similarly, in Hyunjin's scene, he's getting praised for dancing and it seems like the crowd is pressuring him to do more, but he doesn't want to and gets overwhelmed because why can't anyone else do it? Everyone looks and is the same. And then the fan takes the headphones off and we see the other people mindlessly listening to the album, oblivious to the scenes flashing before that specific fan's eyes.

I won't explain the other members' scenes since it'll take too long, but you can probably try to theorize about those knowing this

Then, in the m/v, we see that again but with the headless people in black (btw credits to Jordan Orme for sharing his theory cuz I wouldn't have come to this conclusion if I hadn't watched his vid breaking down the mv)

The people in black seem to be mimicking the members and doing the same dance. But there are many of them that all look the same (including the people in suits on jeongin's part) , the members are the only people who stand out.

I believe this (and that) is like the opposite of the trailer, whereas the trailer is in the perspective of the idols, the mv is in the perspective of the mindless fans. Because the people in black are not much different from the members, doing the same dance, but fans see the idols as standing out, as very different, more colorful and full of personality.

That's why everyone is looking at the idols as different, even though they're basically the same as everyone else.

So basically, what I think is that skz is trying to convey that they aren't super-different-and-cool-and-perfect people to be worshipped, they're just like everyone else and people should stop treating them so differently
