I mean thank goodness I kept mine, but I want to buy a few later down the road for tinker projects and get one for my s/o. Looking online it's like 200 bucks for *a* broken one, I paid that new wtf! I know prices skyrocketed, but this is stupid. I'm looking at how popular modding DSs has gotten and now the announcement of PlayStation killing off physical copies, I'm wondering if prices will even go down if ever. I'm waiting to see if they'll go down next year for junkers, but honestly I'm not feeling too optimistic. Is this gonna be the new norm for the system?

I've been looking at listings in my area and there's quite a few foreclosed or listed as auctions. In the listings they specifically say no showings, no trespassing and showing up asking the residents to tour (which is understandable), and no pictures aside from the outside. These houses seem like a huge gamble and for someone who has bought one of these *TO LIVE IN, NOT FLIP* how did it turn out?

I usually have no problems having things delivered, but lately it's been back to back and it's been getting frustrating. I'm generally pretty patient with shipping, because I know sometimes things can take a good minute as long as I see some kind of update in the tracking. A month ago I ordered screen protectors and still nothing and since day one tracking was never really available (i just learned that 0004 numbers are just stamped pkgs) . I bought another set from a different seller and same thing, it's been over a week. Then I bought a replacement case last week. Tracking number created, but post office has not received item.

I think because it's been a recent thing and in rapid succession I'm feeling impatient, am I overreacting? Should I give it more time, touch base with the sellers? Or how much longer should I wait and see before I consider requesting a refund? I never had to do refunds before so I'm not exactly sure how to proceed.

Decided to look at my friend's joycon and it will not respond in handheld mode. It's only the left one and when you click it in and it'll make the sound like it's connected but it's actually not. The weirder part is it *does* still work perfectly fine off of it even if it has a little stick drift. I tried resynchronizing it and it worked once but never again after that. Opened it up and the ribbons were still intact, gave it a good one-over with the duster and still no response. Everything is just giving me "just re-sync it!" and that's not working. I'm not sure what else to try without breaking the whole thing down which I don't really want to do unless I have to.

Might be a stupid thought, but with so many fakes and cart swaps floating around, why has there never been a website built around checking what codes are legit? Like select your region and the game and it gives you the official PCB numbers depending on the batches. It seems like it would cut out a good chunk of the guesswork? My guess is it would be quite the undertaking to get all that info and building the site along with maintaining it. Do you think this would be helpful or still too unreliable as a verification source?

I like to tinker and play Frankenstein with electronics. I'm glad I still kept my original *New 3DSXL, but I wanted to buy a junker to play with but also have something to pull from if I needed to fix mine. Looking on eBay they are roughly 150-300$ for a *new. It seems a bit absurd to me for a junker, but maybe that is the going rate for broken? Idk, 3DS prices are so insane right now I don't know what a reasonable price is. And yeah it could just be "whatever I'm willing to pay", but I don't want to be ripped off either. I'm still checking around locally don't worry, but I'd just like an idea for the online market.

Realistically I don't see them going down anytime soon if they ever do even...

Been playing through lufia right now and while I know it's not the worst, the enemy encounter rate is pretty annoying. But what games are considered the absolute WORST when it comes to encounters? Any system or any year. Star ocean first departure sweet Mary mother of God ....

I was curious about black sigil blade of exile and sands of destruction on ds, but a lot of people said they were super bad about this too.

Never really thought about it and don't see it come up very much in this sphere, so I got curious! With such a variety in gaming, what do you tend to lean towards? I lean heavy into turn based RPGs and hack n slashes while my ADHD only friend is in more cozy-esque town/farm sim games. VS my boyfriend (suspected ADHD) likes games he can shut his brain off and go to town but has an unholy amount of lore. I also tend to have three games going at any given point that I can switch between if I get stuck or burnt out on one.

I looked at my credit today and saw I had a chargeoff marked on my account. It looks like it's from the hospital but I haven't been in a few years so I don't know why this showed up. I know I'm going to have to call the bureau Monday and figure out what's going on. The amount is for 2,500 and I know I'll have to pay it down. What do I need to tell them and is there a way to negotiate the amount??

I'm on week 3 now of the 1.5mg tablets so I'm willing to be fair that I'm not that far in to judge whether or not it is working.

Whenever I started and got over the nausea period, I did notice my food noise wasn't as loud. But now I feel like after I take my dose I still feel very hungry and I'm worried that I'm undoing my efforts. I struggle with bored eating a lot as I feel under stimulated 90% of the time. My eating habits mainly consist of grazing and snacking throughout the day with usually 1 *maybe* 2 bigger actual meals. I take my pill and wait the time amount sometimes even longer and then I eat and I feel like I can't stop because I'm still so hungry. What can I do?
