Laguna creek sports club?

Any positive or negative experiences? I reached out via email for pricing and have gotten multiple calls, texts and emails to set up a tour, but they won’t give me pricing. I’m sure that’s a common gym tactic but it’s turning me off a bit. Are they good? Specifically for people with families?

My almost 5 year old hates his brother

Okay hate might by a strong word but it’s how it feels. I have two boys, exactly 4 years apart so the oldest is almost 5 and the youngest is almost 1. My 5 year old doesn’t like a single thing about his bother. Doesn’t like saying hi, good morning, goodbye, doesn’t like playing with him, barely wants him in the room with him. I see all these posts of siblings and the big sibling is hugging the baby or playing peek a boo.. mine doesn’t want to do any of that. Is this normal? Is there anything i can do to foster a better relationship? It makes me so sad.

Day trip with young kids

Hi! We’re thinking of taking a day trip this Saturday to SF with our young kids (10 months and 4 years). We’re thinking Golden Gate Park, a beach, and lunch? Any other recs for a low pressure day?

Side note: is baker beach easy to get to or is it any steep climbing? My 4 year old really wants to see views of the golden gate lol

I hate this 😭

We’ve been doing BLW since 6 months and i get SO much anxiety every mealtime that i can barely enjoy my own food. I have a hard time deciding what to feed him. He gags so much. He bites off HUGE pieces. He’s had countless near choking experiences. And then on top of it, he’s SO MESSY 😭 This isn’t even my first baby, i don’t know why this is so hard for me. Anyone else?

8 months old with multiple night wakes/feeds. Normal or can i fix it?

LO is 8 months old.. I would love LOVE to get down to one night wake/feeding. He’s only done that once in his life and i feel like he CAN do it. Or is this normal and i just have to wait it out? Surely this can’t last forever? 🫩

Looking for solutions to extremely itchy dry scalp

While i wait for the mediation, im hoping anyone has experience and found a solution to extremely dry itchy scalp (maybe eczema?). My 8 month old son is scratching his head so much it bleeds :( here’s what we’ve tried:

-Coconut oil and comb out flakes (seems to work the best but comes right back the next day)

-Ketocanozole shampoo from doctor

-selsun blue

-Every cradle cap shampoo and system on the market

Has anything worked for your little one? I am so sad that he’s so uncomfortable

Help. Ready to night wean 8 month old.

I’m going back to work soon and am wanting to fully wean before then, but for now i need to get this kid down to 0-1 night feeds if possible. We’re currently at 2-3 night wakes and nothing i mean NOTHING will calm him down except the boob. My husband has spent literally an hour with a crying baby in the middle of the night doing Ferber check ins until i finally go in to feed him so we can all get a little sleep. What can i do 😭

Some info:

-He was sleep trained with Ferber at 5 months. Goes to sleep independently for naps and bedtime.

-DWT 7am (+/- 15 mins)

-WW 3/3/4

-Bedtime 7:30pm (+/- 15 mins)

-Total daytime sleep 2.5 hours

Currently trying the 5/3/3 method. It’s pretty spot on most nights but unsure where to go from here

I’m putting down my dog in 2 days and i need support

I got my good boy 15 years ago when i was just 22. He’s been with me through everything: dating, marriage, kids, he was in my wedding.. for two years we even lived alone just him and i. I cannot fathom my life without him.

A little over a year ago he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and chronic heart failure. The vet made it seem like he only had months to live, so i am super grateful for the fact he lived an additional year. But i still just can’t believe this time has come. I don’t even know who i am without him.

Looking for support 😞

My 4.5 year old stopped eating most foods around 2 years old. His safe foods now are chicken nuggets, taquitos, some muffins, jelly sandwiches, croissants, rice cakes and yogurt. Zero fruits and zero veggies. Less than 10 foods besides snacks.

The reason i question if it’s arfid because he has NO problem trying and eating any and all snacks you can think of and any and all sweets you can think of. He would have like 40 safe foods if i included the snacks and sweets he would eat. My husband bought a strange looking donut today and he took a huge bite no problem. I just don’t understand.

Does this sound like arfid? If so, any advice? TIA!
