I’m thinking about joining a rugby club and doing that as a benchmark since I tried applying to my community college’s team before but I was ghosted after saying I have no experience with any sports. My university does have a rugby team however I don’t want to overload myself with my job, academics and the sport all at the same time since the players will be held up to certain standards with their grades.
Like dude, you’re clearly not going to steal otherwise you would have just walked out so what’s the rush? I’m not a confrontational person so I hate when they do this because I have to raise my voice to call them back since the people that do this start walking away before the payment processes and it’s embarrassing when I have to do this.
And also I hate it when they act so paranoid that they absolutely MUST hold the item, here’s an example: I’m waiting for the payment to finish processing and this idiot says “you’re fucking holding the item hostage or what?” Like bruh it’s still store property if your payment hasn’t gone through so pipe down pipsqueak 😐
I was thinking about either replacing it with the zipper on my M89 pants or the belt on my M77 parka.
The M89 pants are a tight fit for me anyway so I’ll probably just reuse the fabric for a chest rig/vest and the parka already has a button closures on the front so the belt is kind of redundant.
These images are from the Africa Addio documentary and these rifles belong to the mercenaries that took part in the battle to recapture Boende from the Simbe rebels in 1964 in the Congo.
I’ve seen multiple reels like this on instagram, this hypothetical scenario of “I have x amount of ovens to make pizza/cookies and even if they ran 24/7 everyday for 5 years I still wouldn’t be able to reach 6 million”, where exactly does this math come from?
This is not meant to spread hopelessness but now that the military operations have stopped there’s some things I’ve had on my mind regarding this ordeal. I’m sure some of you users (and myself) thought the US would lead the charge into toppling the IR by force but now appears to be a ship that’s sailed.
I never believed the US was ever going to send in troops, even before the accidental strike on the school based on what I’ve seen on social media and the university I go the sentiment I consistently hear is a “distraction from the Epstein files” or “Israel’s war that’s being done by the US” along with the Gerold carrier facing multiple issues such as its plumbing systems and a fire which I suspect to be sabotage by its crewmen who were most likely anti-Trump and anti-Israel.
If the US did send troops I’m 100% certain there would have been mutinies because of the reasons I’ve mentioned. And it’s entirely possible that if we did send troops the mutinies would have been so bad it wouldn’t have lasted long because unlike Russia and the IR we don’t slaughter our own soldiers.
None of our main military allies helped either, Germany, France, or the UK didn’t sent any troops or ships to help us. This is much more complicated than the Gulf War because 2026 IR is technologically superior and much bigger than 1991 Iraq along with there being a global coalition of dozens of countries to fight Iraq.
All of the people inside of Iran that expected the US to do more are absolutely enraged and for good reason but I don’t believe they’ll just sit there in anger after seeing how savage the IRGC was in suppressing their protests and now seeing the US stopped striking the IR they surely know the levels of violence and brutality will only get worse which will surely give them more motivation to fight back whether they have to do it alone or not.
Let’s not forget how many IRGC thugs were killed (both its leaders and goons) they are definitely in worse shape than they were before the strikes so the people will definitely have a better chance to get arms.
Also Israel has a massive network of spies in Iran, how else could they have gotten information about key IR figures to strike them? Just because the US stopped doesn’t mean they’ll just disappear. Either officially or not I’m confident that they are still doing SOMETHING behind closed doors.
For one, I don’t care if people shoplift because I’m not gonna risk getting hurt to protect the profits of a multibillion dollar company but still hate when people do it because if corporate notices asks the manager of course they’re gonna wanna save their own ass so all the blame is gonna be on the associate despite the fact they’re generally encouraged to not confront the shoplifter, so if that’s the case then why would the associate get in trouble to begin with if they’re told to not do anything about it?????
Either as a reference to the movie or just by coincidence, since even though the WRB had more rules than the underground the fighting style shown looked more like MMA rather than boxing.
I cropped out the original video due to the language of the caption and the individuals featured in it, I just want to know what this song is. It was a meme from a discord server.
Probably the 3 most famous conflicts everyone knows would be the South African border war, Rhodesian bush war and Portuguese colonial war
However I want to know more about the helmets, uniforms, boots, small arms, and gear that were used by these belligerents in the following conflicts:
Nigerian Civil War 1967-1970. Nigerian armed forces and Biafran armed forces
Congo Crisis 1960-1965. Congolese National Army, Katangese Gendarmerie and its mercenaries, Kasai Rebels, Simba Rebels
I have basic knowledge regarding the camo uniforms used in the Congo, I know French lizard, Belgian brushstroke and jigsaw was used but not universally so what I want to know, for all of these forces is how each soldier/fighter would have been been equipped.
Please no vague statements such as “British/Belgian style tropical/khaki dress uniforms” or “webbing similar to pattern 37 and 44” due to the wide variety of companies that make replicas I need exact details/designations
Context, I’m doing research of the uniforms and gear used both by Biafra and the Nigerian government during the Nigerian civil war and the Biafrian soldier in the second image appears to be wearing a shirt that closely resembles a French lizard shirt. The only difference is his had a zipper closure rather than buttons.
Camopedia vaguely states French/Portuguese style lizard camo uniforms being worn during this time period. However it does not provide specific uniform designations, such as Portuguese M64 lizard or French TAP lizard.
The shirt in the first image is a replica made by What Price Glory.
Also if anyone could provide more information regarding the uniforms that would be great, because based on my research it appears that British Pattern 37 uniforms were the main non-camo field uniforms, but when I look at the pants being worn in photos I do not see the small pocket on the right for a bandage which would identify it as pattern 37.
