I have $0.48 in my bank account and I miss sparkling water.

This sounds so lame but a weird vent.

Life has been a bit rough recently and we’re starting work, but we have 3 more weeks to make it through. We’ve been going to food pantries and such, and the best part is when once in a while they’ll have a single can of La Croix available. It was bittersweet drinking it because I wanted it but omg i wanted to save it.

It’s very weird the little luxuries we take for granted. These 3 weeks can’t pass fast enough.

Job wants me to email photos of my social security card?

I just got hired for a mostly remote job. My employer has asked for photos of my social security card emailed to them. I start Monday and go into the office that day. Is there a way to say no because it isn't secure without causing issues?

[Selfie][Routine Help] What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this?

I’ve always really struggled with my self image and self esteem, and this isn’t helping. I’ve had this issue for at least 10 years, started in my teens. My skin clings to makeup like this and creates dry patches where the foundation settles in, even when moisturized prior. It has persisted through different moisturizers, through multiple primers, different wash routines, different foundations, different powders, application techniques, etc.. I’ve even tried just taking a rougher wet wash cloth and rubbing it across my face to hopefully get off any dry patches before applying makeup. None of it works, and it gets worse throughout the day. It happens literally every single time I have foundation of concealer on.

This is today: some concealer and just a bit of powder, followed by setting spray. I don’t have visible dry patches or even feel them before applying makeup over them. It looks worse in person.

I desperately want to know how to fix it. In an ideal world, I also want to know what it is. I have seb derm- just recently diagnosed- but I’m not sure if this is somehow that or not. It seems to happen even after using my medicated stuff.

Is there a reason places ghost?

I have had like 5 or so interviews recently end with ghosting. Some are after multiple rounds of interviews, some are after they say they're interested in hiring me, some are after the company says they'll "let me know either way" by X date (and then never do).

Am I missing something?

Cheapest place for seltzer waters/flavored water?

Waiting on a new job and the first paycheck to hit, but flavored sparkling water/seltzer water keeps the alcohol cravings down and helps me actually drink water. Cheapest place to find some?

Did any recurring adult on this show NOT commit a crime?

I am struggling to think of one that hasn't committed a serious crime. I'm on a second watch right now, but I need to find one parent or even some adult that didn't commit some serious crime(s).

We have the following:

-thinly sliced pork belly

-baby bok choy (a lot of it)

-enoki mushrooms

Yesterday, I made pork belly wrapped enokis. I plan to make kimchi-jjigae eventually. Any other ideas? I have other ingredients, I swear.

I’ve had multiple muscle corrective eye surgeries and so my eyes are two different shapes. On top of that… I have strabismus, Thygeson’s, astigmatism… a lot of eye issues.

My parents make sure I know I’m the ugly one, the fat one, etc.. I haven’t seen them in years now but will be seeing them next week for my sister’s wedding and have already gotten a hard time about my dress, my weight… sigh.

How do I do my eyes? I have glasses but will probably try to go without anyways, but I’m trying to do some trial runs of eye makeup and they all look… wrong and uneven. SOS.
